    Let adults do what adults want to do. However, bringing strangers into your home with children around is dangerous! It's a perfect playground for predatory behavior.

    • @sometimesnevernot
      @sometimesnevernot 3 місяці тому +1

      @@ShaeDailythat's really uncommon. When I was poly we would justify it by saying we might have two weeks or two months or two years together so we have to love them hard and appreciate the time we have together. That's because it's an extremely complex lifestyle and the relationships not marked primary tend to last only a short time. Nobody we knew, in goth or in poly or gay circles, was having secondaries for more than a year. And most I'm aware of, fifteen years later, we're not with the primary anymore either. Some, like me, aren't poly at all anymore. Most are, but have short heavy relationships often or randomly. It's not the lifestyle for long term relationships. It's really not. If anyone poly is even with the primary ten or twenty years later it's the exception, not the rule. And secondaries? Nope.

    • @Kat53184
      @Kat53184 2 місяці тому

      Having more than one relationship is extremely complicated. I'm married and I also had a girlfriend for 9 months in 2022. For the first few months, it was amazing. But after awhile all the little cracks starting showing. It was exhausting trying to balance your life between 2 partners. And I have kids, so that added even more stress. It's also been my experience that not every couple who practices polyamory is as happy as they tell you they are. For me, bringing a woman into my life was just to add something extra. But I learned that in my girlfriends marriage, that wasn't the case. It was already complicated and their problems just made things even worse. My husband and I are still together, however, my girlfriend and I are not. I don't think having 2 relationships is something I would ever do again. It was honestly more stressful than it was enjoyable.

      I'm not at all saying poly is for everyone. I actually like monogamy with the right person. But I'm not against poly either. I actually see it as a form of extended monogamy. If I were doing it we would strictly limit partners to three or four at most. It wouldn't be open marriage. Also it would be crucial to have certain type of people with high communication skills or capacity to develop high communication skills, a certain mental strength intelligence and character, and strong commitment to building a family. With the right people it has the potential to actually be less stressful than one to one monogamy because the adults can further spread out burdens and share tasks and each has more than one person to lean on. But the key is the right people and that can be very difficult to find

      Ok so they will commonly be "fluid bonded" with their primary only, or if a secondary partner is still around months later they might get to share fluids too. But most groups, each person is only really close with one, and the rest they use condoms with. So typically they also tend to use birth control and they'll agree on abortion before sharing fluids with the new person who could get them pregnant or become pregnant.
      It's too complicated. It's kinda gross. And I'm super glad I don't do it anymore. There's constantly disease tests, every 3 months, plus every new partner you start seeing you have to both get tested twice before sleep together.

    Regina‘s marriage fell apart after she brought her boyfriend into the mix, gee … I never thought that would happen. 😆😆😆😆
    It’s human nature to be jealous and want what’s yours to be only yours. These people are delusional and what’s really sad is when you see a child growing up in that environment.
    I wonder if Regina would be open to her husband bringing another woman in the mix. Somehow I don’t think she’d really be into it. Regina likes it because she’s benefiting of having two men. I bet you if her husband brought a woman into the mix shit would hit the fan.
