Honestly, this is the first time I trully understood the concept of rolling shutter and global shutter,I work as a construction manager in the uk, and also do videography and photography and I knew the effects of rolling shutter when you record fast moving objects but I never quite understood why but you explained it here beautifully,I own a Sony a7iv and been thinking of getting the fx3 because of the a7ivs poor rolling shutter...and thank you for the great content, iI also own the maviic air 3 so will be looking at the drone course you provided also thank you.
Very useful sir. Wish you have in depth guide, a step by step approach on how to do volumetric stockpiles for beginner sir. Lots of love from Philippines❤
The Phantom 4 Pro series has an mechanical shutter. I have enjoyed several of your video's and have learn much about the use of the Emlid system, I was hoping you would do one using the RS2+/RS3 as a base with Sim card and the Reach Rx as the rover. Many states have NTRIP systems, but some areas are do not have NTRIP stations close enough to provide consistent corrections info. Thus the reason to use an RS2/3 as a base (sim card) to be able to pull it's own Sat's and feed it to the RX.
This is an amazing video thank you! I will take my part107 in the middle of August. I have one question. What software do you use to make your subtitles in the video??
Great overview. I still maintain Ground Control Points aren't controlling anything. They are merely Reference Points. Also, how does the base station know where it is to mm level accuracy? I mean if the rover needs the base and the rover is exactly the same device as the base, then how can the base be more accurate? I think I need to re-watch some of your GPS related videos.

I don’t want to go to school for six years that’s how long I have to go to school for in New York to be a surveyor is there another option I can take and still make a decent amount of income flying my drone for construction companies if so, do you teach this in your online program? If you do, I will buy the program. Thank you for all the information.

Nobody is going to a hire a random guy with a drone and pix4d to create a base topo. Professionals either do it in house outsource professional survey companies. I know your trying to get views, but be realistic !
The professionals are the survey companies. And many survey companies are struggling to manage a drone operation, or train their staff which results in outsourcing the work to independent drone pilots. I’m trying to help educate drone pilots on drone surveying so that they can provide quality information to professional survey companies.
@RamiTamimi land surveyor of 13+ years!! Drone surveying was our enemy but I love the technology. Also, you're right about the struggle of survey companies building a drone department! Thanks for your knowledge and looking forward to many more vids!

You are correct. I used my Phantom 4 RTK and it did really well. We can definitely go into more Emlid tutorials!
Some/all? states require you to have be a licensed surveyor or work under one to provide drone surveying services
