Curry mite leave a good legacy but Kobe is the GOAT
@@rayluzlow1770 for sure!
He complimented Kobe. It was a very respectful comment
Low key compliment from the trainer.
@@hoopinncookinnot low key. What he said was true he was average nba sized but his work ethic, skills and mentality were what made him great because nobody that was stronger, faster and bigger then him could come close to him in his prime.
I would say it was a low key diss...Kobe was a lot faster and quicker than what this guy is saying.
He only repeated what Kobe himself said. He said those very same words out of his own mouth. Gary Vitti just repeated it. No diss at all.
@hoopinncookin don't act like you didn't clickbait the shit out of this video for views.... be Better
Kobe is one of the few individuals who could say "I tried my best" and mean it.
Guy didnt waste a minute of his life. Which is why his death hurts even though i was not a fan of him. But damn the guy gave it his absolute best.
Not the most talented the most skilled 💯
"did his best" theres a difference- Tim Grover

Hard work and talent beats everything - MJ and Messi
This was our team motto when I played in HS, still have this mentality after 10 years now.
@@dinodigger8807*Lebron and Ronaldo
Here’s the thing Kobe literally said this himself.
lebrons > all 3
@@chuckv321Lebron overrated
@@cjamazing420 literally impossible
I just said this on another comment. Gary just repeated what Kobe himself said.
Kobe was being modest...the guy was a supreme athlete...did you guys even watch the guy?
His mentality was literallly what was special about him
But he wasn't gifted that. He made that. That's the point he's trying to make here. A lot of other greats have gifted physiques, but Kobe didn't have that
Gtfoh kobe was 6’6 that is already gifted😂😂and how do you kno he wasnt born with that mentality? Yall only knew of em a year before he got in the nba and he already had it. Yall jus be glazing any youtuber and celebrity
And this is what separates players like Kobe from the majority of the players today. Too many get enamored by "skill and talent". That doesn't mean anything when there is someone working 10x harder than you
Most people can work hard their whole life and not even come close to a division 1 college player. Hard work can only take u so far. U need talent AND hard work.
@@davehamilton4761 I recall watching an interview with Kyrie and Durant as they were talking about Giannis in an almost condescending way. They said he wasn't talented....and compared to them theyre right. But he works harder than them. Which I think is why he will have mutiple chips when he retires. Hard work can mean everything.
@@davehamilton4761the difference here is that Kobe was talented/gifted, just not nearly as much as his all-time great counterparts, everyone going into the NBA is talented and talent can nullify talent, the level of talent can matter which is why players like Luka are better than your average role player but if you work as hard as Kobe did it almost doesn’t matter, almost.
@@amilcarsafeca7629not true
Zaza made it into the nba based off everybody support in his country bruh NBA the only skill players are star players the rest are just bench players
In a physical league, heart carries the day.
Kobe was about being the very best that he could be and he knew hard work was the only thing that was going to get to his highest level. RIP KOBE
I know Kobe worked hard but people don’t realize Kobe was one of most well rounded athletes of all time at 6’6
"Will there ever be another Kobe?'
MJ: Dumb question
Exactly
Lol😄 i hear mj's voice reading this.
kobe already gained mjs respect.
Ppl said the same thing about mj and kobe came close
Nope. Never. If think about it. Check this out. MJ, KOBE, LEBRON, The talent and work that these players put in goes down every generation. Most jus playin wit a little talent for big checks. Money over work. Jus my opinion
Kobe was the definition of grit and grind blood, sweat and tears, can’t say that about alot of players in todays game
People like Kobe, MJ, Gretzky, are one in a million, they have a special gift inside which drives them not just to succes but multiple championships, a breed apart.

There will never be another Kobe, MJ or Larry. These 3 are the assasins of the NBA.

I’m sorry but this is completely ridiculous. Kobe was absolutely one of the best athletes in the league for most of his career. His work ethic was second to none but let’s not act like this guy didn’t have rare athletic gifts.
Kobe was flashy but nowhere near a freak of an athlete like MJ, LBJ, VC, or AI.
Alot of athletes come into the NBA with much greater athletic ability.
Kobe out trained out, practiced out and studied his competition by a ridiculous margin. Kobe practiced like most of the guys in the league he would most likely be a bust.
Tbh you kinda wrong, his body stat is average nba athlete but his "adaptability" talent is freakish
Yeah he had the best workout clippers said theyve ever seen at 17 years old. You gotta be pretty damn athletic for that
No he wasn't and I'm a Kobe fan. Go look at his best dunks and compare it to the dunks of Vince Carter, MJ, LeBron, and you'll see that he really not as gifted.
The.fact you think he's super athletic is the point he's making. Kobe overachieved in all areas and made us believe he was jumping out the gym like Vince or Zion, but he really wasn't, young Kobe was a bit more athletic but he's not Blake Griffin 0 rings, Vince Carter 0 rings, Zion zero rings, Shawn Kemp 0 rings.
He wasn't cut and built like Karl Malone or LeBron.
He wasn't as fast as dudes like AI,
The same thing that made me resent him, made me respect him and is ultimately why I miss him. Relentless regardless. The effort to not be among peers but to exceed them. A warrior. 😢
We all miss you Mamba 😢
🙏🙏🙏😐
Work ethic is a superior trait!
Kobe was determined!
He wanted to be the best player so he worked hard and he got rewarded for it!
He’s saying Kobe wasn’t born a legend, he worked every single day of his life for the skills and abilities he had.
What a stmt from his trainer. True stoic. Controlled what's in his hand and macimized it to the Nth degree🔥
Kobe practiced and practiced and perfected and practiced some more. His work ethic was above anyone else’s. His passion for the game above than anyone else. He worked hard and that my friends deserve and gets respect.
kobe had unbelievable will to win and he would improve on any weakness in his game.
His approach to the game and his approach at life itself on and off the court was why he was so great.
RIP Kobe Bryant. I will tell my kids about you one day 🙏🏾🕊️
There will never be another Kobe. Nobody in todays game has that mamba mentality. His work ethic is unmatched and his willingness to exceed in every possible way is a trait you can’t practice. You have to BE that
There will never be another Kobe; not this Kobe for sure. A great athlete that has made my life complete. Thank you Kobe.
Rip🙏inspired lots of people..
He's Right Kobe Bryant Was Alright But Sad 😢😭 He's Gone 😭💔

@@dawb86but vetga always be taking L vetga can’t stand in business
@@dawb86Mike was naturally gifted and has no patience like Vegeta. Goku was a low level Saiyan that had to work hard to surpass his peers. Sorry but Kobe is like Goku lmfao 💪😎
@@wallyvee3039 My point was that after witnessing the powerful levels that Goku achieved, Vegeta worked tirelessly to get to those same levels. Vegeta was NOT "naturally gifted" lol, he was of noble blood and royalty which doesn't equate to the same thing but how ironic with that parallel as well because Kobe's father was a former NBA player so I guess he was just SUPPOSED to naturally become the best player in the league someday, right?

He is crazy, you'll have to be crazy enough to be like him, normal is the antonym of kobe bryant
Gilbert Arenas said the same thing.
He also Felt kobe's wrath..lol
He dropped 60 on Kobe 😂
Some times it’s all between the ears. We use to say similar things back in the 80’s and 90’s about Wayne Gretzky. Lots of guys were bigger, could shoot harder, were faster, were stronger but he still holds most of the offensive records in the NHL.
There can never be another Kobe but there can be you❤❤❤
That's literally what made him special... 😑
💯💯💯
He saying Kobe wasn’t special as I’m have this freakish natural ability that automatically put him over the edge. He just out hustled everyone and studied the game to the T
@Sirenity01 Yes, I'm aware, and I'm saying that's literally what made him special. So, his own statement is contradicting. His mentality is what separated him. That's why he was able to out work the majority of his peers.
@@RestlessRizz It's not contradicting him. He's saying the same thing as you lol. If he ended it with "that's why I consider him to be the greatest two guard in league history" everyone would've understood it better...

He’s right
Same with Mike.Whats the point. It has always been about who works the hardest
@@keithfaniel1067yes but he had a 48 inch vertical and had big hand
@@MathiasTricoliyes and Kobe has a serious basketball IQ
@@keithfaniel1067 Not the same with Mike at all lol. That's what his trainer was saying. Mike, Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, D-Wade, T-Mac, Vince, hell even Iverson's athleticism/explosiveness for his size was elite/superior NATURAL talent. Kobe's natural talent was good, not great and certainly not all time level at the likes of those names aforementioned. That he's singlehandedly the only guard really put in the convo as being on MJ's level speaks volumes. He only could've gotten their from superior SKILLS, the kind that are so great he very well probably had to be more skillful than MJ to even be in the conversation alongside him.....
@@dawb86 dude I will bet you never played any sports on a serious level to talk about Kobe like that. Skills what skills did Mike have besides jumping.Kobe could out shoot Mike with his eyes closed. Mike had no skills in 3s nor was he a great dribbler. Isiah said that how the Piston beat him. Be careful speaking sports when you don’t know what you’re saying. Fool Kobe is TMac as well as Iversons idol. They have said they haven’t meet a player with such SKILLS
Completely agree. I've always been describing him that way since forever.
We already knew this ! It was his mind that made him special ! He worked with what he had got got the most out of his physical abilities by using hard work snd studying thegame and his opponents

That killer instinct is exactly what made Larry Bird a legend. Bird got where he was through endless work and practice and toughness. Kobe was the same type, although I would think Kobe had more natural ability than Bird.
💯💯💯kobe was more athletic..
Bird was taller. In bball height is always noticed before skill. Athletic ability is secondary to being noticed and then skill.
They both maximized their natural abilities.
Kobe was smoother and more athletic. Bird was taller, had better vision and the fastest hands I’ve ever seen. Both took total advantage of their abilities
When playing baseball on my team in the best but I’m not the biggest I’m not the strongest I’m not the fastest but I put in more work than anybody on that team so I was reminded of that watching this video

Rest in peace champ❤ you're one of a kind and we miss you
Dude was a real life Might Guy
Getting better results while having less is a huge complement
There will never be another Kobe
That's the best way to describe Kobe Bryant
“He will get all in your mug, he will do whatever it takes. He is the most complete basketball player in the game today. He will guard your best player, he will shoot from the perimeter.”
That’s the biggest compliment you can give a player lmao
Will never be another Kobe rip king
Always my GOAT! Great Mamba Mentality! #8#24
There will never be another kobe! 💯💪

Kobe acknowledged all that himself because he said that he wanted every physical trait that T-Mac had. It was his work ethic that pushed him to greatness
Jobs done, Mamba, you can smile now. God bless ❤
Hell no there will never be another Kobe
He had/has the Heart of an entire Pride of Lions combined. The standard of work ethic. It was already not fair when you competed against him even one on one. Now, what if he was what his trainer said he was not ? LORD HAVE MERCY, Unimaginable !!!!!!!!!
Kobe genuinely gave his all to the game, the only other player I’ve seen even come close is Bron. So no there will never be another Kobe Bean Bryant
He unleashed his ability after finding out he can not always have it his way .😢 The future is unpredictable for all humans ❤.
That's what made him so special. His hunger for wanting to be better than you on the court was unmatched. You can't beat someone who refuses to not give up.
I was chasing perfection and excellence, even though I knew I will probably never catch it. But just the fact I was willing to chase it, I would defeat most of my opponents. Because most of my opponents would never chase something that didn’t have any guarantees attached to it.
~Black Mamba
💯💯💯mamba out
The mindset and work ethic is what made Kobe so great. One of the most inspiring people ever.
"I've never seen nobody as competitive like him (Kobe), but Mike; that's it... people talk about who are the best basketball players; I say Mike, and I say Kobe. That's it. And then, everybody else". -Allen Iverson
That’s exactly why I love Kobe so much. The dunks he used to pull off cus he wanted to be like Mike but he couldn’t float, the footwork on top of pump fakes on top of footwork and the mentality to never quit coming at your throat.
The 1st time a slam dunk champion being called so so… 🤣
Talent its a crutch. Every time something comes easy, one doesn't cherish it as much nor appreciate it as much. Thus one doesn't value it as much and don't fight for it as much. R.I.P. Kobe.
Not to mention that he was exceptionally intelligent. I doubt that there has every been any other basketball player that understood every aspect of the game like he did. Schemes and tactics, footwork, how to read defense, how to read offense, and last but not least psychology. He knew exactly how to throw off people with mind games, he studied the temper of each opponent, the level of aggressiveness, how they reacted to physical and non-physical provokings.
If he had chosen to be a QB in the NFL and followd through with the dedication and passion we know from him, I believe he would've become the goat.
There is only one Kobe and will never be another Kobe rip mamba
They'll never another bean in this world Rip to his daughter and to the champ
Man’s spitting straight facts. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.
Kobe's work ethic was unmatched. It's what set him apart.
Bro that competitiveness is special thing about him😅😅😅
Agree 100%, but will add it also helped that he played for a franchise like The Lakers. You can love them or hate them, but the organization knows how to win.
I can say with confidence there will never be another Mamba24
Be 130% right that’s why I love Kobe
Mamba mentality..💯💯💯
Heart and mindset he try so say
It will never be another KOBE he made his name popular. Everyone else has to do the same or better.
I was blessed to watch MJ win 6 titles and then be followed by Kobe. I respect both of them for their dedication and passion for the game.
He actually took the words out of an interview Kobe said about himself.. nice
He had the tenacity of SG
The Black Mamba was just different 🐍🐍🐍🐍❤❤❤❤
All true. He gave him a compliment. Kobe’s mind is what made him an ultimate winner.
Mamba mentality.
May. He. Rest in peace. God. Bless. His family 😢
Kobe may not have had a big f*cking sword, but he had a Swiss Army Knife and a relentless intent to kill.
That's what they said about Larry Bird " that he was nothing special" but these players were truly amazing❤
He didn’t say he don’t that much skills I was waiting for. But that size was the all around player … and he was really fast and athletic coming up… but it’s his fearless approach to the game and wanting to eat his competitor up
Kobe showed that work ethic can get you just as far if not farther than just talent. Kobe was as good as he was because he made himself that good with all the work he put in. Not saying he didn’t have talent but his work is what made him the threat that he was
“Obsession’s gonna beat talent every time.” - Adam Sandler
Will there ever be another Kobe? Not in my lifetime, he became the face of basketball for 2 decades and was the greatest player in the eyes of many, I wish I could’ve been alive to have watched my bulls win in the 90s with MJ but I was able to watch Kobe, he’s one of my GOATs
Just as there was only one MJ, and ever will be; there will only ever be one Kobe. Period.
I have a calculus professor friend that said his best student wasn't the smartest but the hardest worker. I met him just before he went to M.I.T. on a full scholarship!
Amazing compliment and that’s what’s most inspiring about Kobe. He’s not even close to the greatest, but he achieved more for his potential than just about anyone.
