Another brilliant, informative insight into your daily life👍.There is nothing worse than trailing for miles to fix something and the new part is damaged. Well done on the bush fix in that slurry mess. I used to work on landfill sites and hated when i dropped any tools and had to fish about to get them back🤮
So frustrating when you wait ages to get a new part delivered and it arrives damaged! Well done for getting it fixed and I hope the supplier offered you some form of compensation for the inconvenience. Happy Hogmanay 🥳
Campbell i work for rabbies tours ( 16 years ) , and use all the same roads as your company i used to be a truck driver before rabbies. i always trat you guys with respect at all times , passing at different stages on the road what a great video love it so iam now LIKING
Brilliant video Campbell, well edited and very informative. It’s one of those jobs where you don’t want to drop a bolt. Spot on, keep doing what you’re doing because you are doing it right with content, voice over, editing etc
Ahhh the Dingers curse strikes again!! Had this many times, and generally these days I stick with OEM stuff from the dealer parts desk. If you’ve got access to the parts exploded diagram it really helps in making sure you get all the new bolts, washers, o-rings and gaskets as well as the main item. I always open the box at the desk when collecting, because issues like that damage can be an utter nightmare. At least the midgies aren’t a factor this time of year too for that sort of bushfix job!!! Guid new year when it comes eh.
Fantastic video Campbell and thanks for bringing us along to watch you and Davie on the tools. Been some 38 years since I was last on the tools, and was great to see some good old mechanic skills going on. No doubt that your new turbo has been dropped from a fair height, so time for Dingbro to make amends. Like you I started on the tools, then on the road and ultimately traffic office then management, but the best training I ever had was my hands on time, plus your fellow team members appreciate someone who knows the ropes. All the best for 2025. Thanks for your videos.
@@frasermathers2287 thanks very much! Yes it’s definitely important to know your way about the trucks when it’s the main part of your business.. thanks for the kind words 😊
Loved your video! Great to see what you do fixing the lorry. I just love turbos and love seeing and hearing them! Always wonder why most new cars with turbos don’t have gauges for them! As with your old lorry hearing and seeing the lack of boost quickly prevented what could have been a much bigger repair bill!!
You were lucky with those manifold bolts 😂😂 fair play lads, it’s always nice to repair stuff on the road if you can, being recovered is so defeating. Happy New Year to all. Good luck for 2025 👍
Great video again, Campbell. It shows you can still handle the tool's I also bought some parts for my car, and bits were broken in packaging. There's not much you can do to keep your waggon clean with running in the rain on forest tracks
Great video Campbell cheers, good fix on the Scania and nice work getting over the hurdle of the broken part, good that the video will show it wasn't yous that damaged it. Happy Hogmanay, stay well 👌🏻
Good job done. Great feeling when everything comes together like that. Plenty of things in that procedure to spoil your day. All the best for the new year.
Great vlog Campbell obviously the turbo had to be sorted as a trailer full of logs ain’t worth anything until it gets to the destination but also it’s a working truck so I wouldn’t worry about it being dirty it’s there to earn money for the company but great job 😊😊😊
Great work lads, there is an upgrade on the control valve coolant lines, make sure you get both lines, Scania sold us just 1 and we had cooling issues till we found out that both lines should be changed together...
Thanks for the video. Happy holidays and happy new year. While it is lovely seeing the trucks clean, a truck with evidence of it's hard work looks cool as well.
You don’t make many videos but the ones you do make are worth the watch……absolutely outstanding video as per and I doubt very much if a certain Trucker called Tim could lace yer boots. 😂😁
Nice when you take it off and it's cream cracked especially when your out in the back of beyond, don't know if I would have chanced a Dingbro turbo that far from home, Your needing a set of ratchet spanners, well done Campbell great job

Great video Campbell when we are supplying the like of turbo's in the aftermarket yes the turbo's come with fitting kits but sometimes they don't come with everything required possibly why Scania are wanting to charge you £900 more the best of luck.
Good video as usual Campbell. It’s a pity dingbro did not notice the damage before they sent it out to you. Probably was the courier 😂. Anyway alls well that ends well. I hope to meet you next year a a few truck shows. All the best when it comes. Cheers Raymond 🏴🏴

Do your trucks have a turbo boost Gauge? and a turbo pyrometer? Yoou can tell if your burning your turbo and how much is going 35-40% I would drive this truck except the wheel is on the wrong side
