Hi Cambell. Something I found with the Scanny CB aerial on the old R series was the back of the mount coming loose put a meter on it and if it doesn’t SWR in that could be the problem once I tightened mine and put a new whip on I was getting miles instead of meters. Cheers 👍
I brought a lot of wind turbine’s up into the mull of kintyre, had to turn left at the second caravan site on the main road to Campbeltown and eight mile on tracks to drop off site.

Many years ago I travelled up the Rest and be thankful during one of the hottest periods of the summer in the late 1980's It was so hot the tarmac was melting so a convoy system was in place following a grit spreader loaded with sand. The tyres still grew by about an eighth of an inch by the time we reached the top. True story. 👍.

Your videos are very interesting. Me and my little son first came across your clamp trailers moving wind turbines through two big roundabouts near limerick in Ireland a few months ago. We would see the road signs taken down . We got to know when ye were coming through. We were watching at the road side most nights for 3 months Your drivers always blew and saluted us. My son Conor is 6 , and loves your videos. He has a question , will you do a wind turbine video for the telly. You’re better than the discovery channel. Keep up the good work

Great video again, firstly always wondered how do you know which road in woods? Can be several roads and go on for far enough. Great way of life a would say great scenery

Areas Can't make good money based on scenery alone unfortunately. If you want better roads to meet demands you need investment. Scottish government is definitely not going to set aside millions to fix these roads let alone build new ones. Money needs to come from investment and unfortunately scotlands biggest asset is its vast open lands and mountain ranges that local areas cannot access financially. Tourism is scotlands Future. Not as if we make anything anymore why not profit out of city folk take them for everything make them pay. 😅 two sides to that argument
