My body is just constantly in a state of fight/flight/freeze when I’m around him. I feel happy when I get to spend time with him because he actually pays attention to me and showers me with love when we’re in the same room but I’m also extra anxious around him because in the past he’s gone thru my phone and started fights over completely innocuous texts I send with my mom or stuff I react to on fb, and he’s started full on fights and accused me of cheating when I’m not doing anything of the sort. But when I’m not around him (I live 2 hours away so I only get to see him 4 days out of a month) I get very depressed because it’s like I don’t exist when we’re not in the same room. He doesn’t show me any affection when we’re apart, doesn’t compliment me at all, gets annoyed when I say I miss him/love him, gets angry at me for having panic attacks, etc. And he won’t say anything at all about selfies I post of me and him being happy and in love, but he’ll go compliment other women on fb/instagram, tell them how great they look (most of them are half naked), and when I’ve told him how that makes me feel he gets angry and yells at me and says we should break up because I’m accusing him of cheating. So I don’t look at his social media anymore and I don’t text him as much anymore because I honestly don’t feel like it gets me anywhere other than anxious and depressed. He’s even said in the past “well since you like talking so much about how you wanna kill yourself, why don’t you just go ahead and do it?” He’s also physically a*used me and SA’d me, so he’s basically as bad as my a*usive exhusband. Sad thing is that nowadays I feel happier when I don’t have to interact with him or he doesn’t pick up my calls. It means I can do what I want and have time to myself.

He did everything you mentioned and then some! What he's doing is manipulating you, gaslighting you, and abusing you. Anyone who cares about you will care about your feelings. A faithful, loving man will not be commenting on half naked chick's on ig because they will be happy and satisfied with you. Since you're in a long-distance relationship, I would say it's safe to assume he's cheating on you. Again, I'm speaking from experience. The problem was I was veryyy attracted to his natural scent. My body responded to him as if we were one, in every way. That's why it was so hard to let go.
And hormonal birth control can change our preferences when it comes to body scent in men! There are even small studies being done now confirming what some women have said about this!

Some signs: - His presence literally makes you want to vomit or makes your stomach acid go crazy - You gain weight (cortisol and stress levels going up). Can’t seem to lose it no matter how much you diet and exercise or how healthy your lifestyle seems. - Try to have sex and no matter what he does you are unable to get wet. Your body will clam up and won’t let him in. - Kisses are weird a dry. His lips are stiff like kissing a corpse or it feels super forced. - The thought of having a kid that looks/acts like him or has his morals or DNA makes your skin crawl - You get night terrors or can’t sleep well - Your stomach feels intense terror when he is around - You can smell his sweat and it absolutely turns you off (when you are compatible his smell should agree with you) - Your hair falls out or starts getting grey - The thought of his body fluids (semen, blood, tears, sweat, saliva) grosses you out. - Yawning. If you can’t stop yawning like crazy whenever you run into him or you are expending time together. And is not a good yawn like when you are sleepy and relaxed, rather it just comes out of nowhere as the instinctual reaction whenever you see him… take note. Animals instinctively yawn whenever they are around a predator. You don’t have to think he is one, you can adore his company…. but your body will know. It will yawn to keep you awake and give you extra oxygen in case you have to escape. Constant yawning anytime you see him is your body alerting you that you actually feel restless / endangered. Is not a deal breaker but certainly something good to keep in mind.

Omg- same! He would touch me and literally make my skin crawl! It was a light, light, light touch and it tickled. I HATED it! (I had been tickled a little bit by other guys and I liked it... but this wasn't the same. This was super irritating and wierd and I hated it.) I told him GRAB HOLD! Don't just tickle! He resented that I told him what to do. (He didn't SAY he resented it, but he pouted about it so I could tell he was upset.) He then started recoiling at MY touch. He said I touched him too strong. Thinking back on it, it seems sus that he would suddenly start complaining about how I touched him AFTER I complained about how he touched me. But still, I tried to touch him lighter, like he asked. Then every time I did, he would giggle. I hated that stupid little giggle. He sounded like a wierd little clown. I couldn't tell if he was being spiteful and trying to get me back for telling him his light touch annoyed me, or if he was genuinely also feeling the same wierd ass energy I was. All I know is that we were NOT meant to be together.

Of course cheating lying is a problem but men with bad habits are a problem too. If he smokes, drinks, do drugs that you don’t know about. -I didn’t like the way his hands felt in mine , felt sweaty and awkward -when he cuddled with me his weight gave me headaches and felt awkward -When I went to his house for the first time I had a severe allergy attack that night the worst I ever had my nose and throat were burning cause his house was filthy. I was allergic to his pets but he ignored me and said I was just coming down with something it wouldn’t be his house when it totally was that made me sick - kissing him felt strange and I felt my body reject him subltly - I had a strong gut reaction that I couldn’t shake off whatsoever I knew something wasn’t right with him I couldn’t explain. I knew I had to get out this guy was not for me And when I tried to explain the feeling I had he didn’t understand and brushed off my concerns like they were nothing and made me feel wrong for leaving him . Every time my ex=husband and I had sex, which was not often, I got a full blown vaginal infection plus yeast infections. I went to the doctor about every 2 months. About 10 years ago I started to develop vitiligo (white skin patches) on my body which spread a lot more on my hands in the last year. At the start of this year had a big falling out with her and have finally gone no contact. And lo and behold after a few months of not dealing with her BS, I looked at my hands one day and noticed that all the white patches have started to disappear and my melanin started coming back and filling in!!! Other people noticed as well. The woman was causing me so much stress it was causing an autoimmune condition that was turning my skin white. So t’s just not worth maintaining relationships with these type of destructive people. Family or not!

I have heard of cases where a couple try to have a child and are unable. Doctor exams show everything is normal and reproductive system is normal. Couple splits up and when with new partners have no problem having children. I think this is more common than reported.

I dated 2 sociopaths 5 years apart, but didnt know until i was leaving them. With the first one, i gained 15 pounds almost as soon as we started hanging out even before i liked him or things got romantic. After being together for like 6 weeks, i got a flu and was sick for almost 6 weeks. We moved in together after a year, and within a year of living together i lost 70 pounds, broke out in hives once, had an allergic reaction that made throat shut down 80%, had food poisoning twice where i was sick for 6 weeks. This was all during covid when we were on full lock down. The doctors were baffled and checked for auto immune disease and tons of allergy testing. I told the doctor my body is rejecting my ex and im sure all this will stop when i leave him. And it immediately did. The 2nd sociopath was my friend for a year before i started to look at him romantically. The first night it was like my feelings changed for him, we sat and watched the stars for hours,just talking, and the next day i had Sciatica and couldn't walk, and I'd never had Sciatica so i didnt even know what was wrong. 2 weeks later he asked me to be his girl and 4 weeks later i started to get hives atleast twice a week. After being with him for 8 months, the smell of his skin and bodily fluid started to disgust me and i started to get period pimples around my chin, even though they weren't due yet for that part of my cycle. The idea of sleeping with him started to gross me out so i stopped. A month later,i had a seizure for the first time ever. And then had 2 more, each one was 1 week apart. I had 2 ct scans and tons of testing done and there were no results... doctors found nothing. But by the 3rd Seizure i recognised this as a pattern in comparison to the last time this stuff happened with the ex. In fact, this extreme reaction by my body is what made me realise that this Prince Charming must be a worst sociopath than my ex. I blocked and deleted him from everything, washed my sheets to get rid of his smell and after 2 weeks my body released 10 pounds. And i never had a seizure again. The day i blocked my ex was the day i met my husband. And my body knew the difference immediately. I felt light, calm and energized like a purring cat and really happy... smiling till my face hurt in our first conversation. Our bodies keep the score ladies.❤ Always believe yourself and listen to your intuition. She's louder the more you listen. That Prince Charming DVed and tried to unalive the girl after me. This is true for ANY relationship, family, friend, partner it's true. For me it was friends and family. Now I'm introverted, shy and anxious. But I have felt for at ease and comfortable around grown strangers than ppl I'm supposed to be close to. I'm always nervous, or uncomfortable, migraines too, always drained or exhausted during/after interaction. Even after Spending years and forcing myself to acclimate being around these ppl ( I had 0 choice) at best, I was always on eggshells or constantly feel like my personal space is violated, and uncomfortable/unwilling to talk about or share personal information, space or things. Heck from the day I MET these ppl I KNEW consciously and unconsciously I did NOT LIKE THESE PPL OR WANT TO BE AROUND THEM. The reason I chose to ignore it was because I felt bad for disliking ( damn near hating) ppl - family at that- for "no reason". Trust me they gave me PLENTY of reasons. But for anyone reading this, don't wait fir ppl to give u a reason to leave ( it will cost to much) if u dislike someone or don't like being around them for "no reason" just leave, I guarantee there is one, don't find found what just go

I got severe period cramps when I started dating and was intimate with a new guy. I don’t normally get any cramps at all. I also got flu-like symptoms out of nowhere. My body literally turned against me. Another man I dated I ended up with a uti. I dumped both of them. I would have to do a fast to cleanse my body and spirit from these men.
This is so accurate. For me, it was hot flashes, insomnia, UTI’s, red eye, teeth aches and chipping, things breaking when they are around, stuttering, brain fog, bruising, laziness and disinterest in things I normally enjoy doing. And yet, this picture perfect person was the result of this rather unfortunate experience. Wild.
During my last serious relationship, I could not stand sleeping in the same bed as my ex. He snored really loud and would get pissy if I used white noise to mask the sound, because he couldn't sleep if there was any noise going on. I had to sleep in a separate bedroom to get any kind of relief, which surprise, he hated that I didn't sleep in the same bed as him! I just could never relax and fall asleep around him. Which was a sign I ignored for almost 4 years. With my current partner, who also snores, he cares about my sleep quality and bought me sleep earbuds that play white noise so I can sleep soundly. But I feel such peace and safety with him that I can fall asleep around him and feel rested, but when I'm away from him, I don't sleep as good. Your body will tell you before you even think it. Sometimes it's psychologically easier to suppress our feelings than face what's there. I knew it was time to leave my fiance when I kept feeling sick and depressed having to continue being around him and we definitely weren't doing anything physical anymore. I was really young (both of us were 20) and didn't want to admit our four year relationship wasn't forever. He wasn't abusive, but he wasn't a good partner for most of the relationship. I felt guilty at the thought of leaving because he didn't have a great family and we were together since high school. He isn't a bad person and to his credit he essentially told me it was okay to break up and he didn't want to keep me from anything. My body is just constantly in a state of fight/flight/freeze when I’m around him. I feel happy when I get to spend time with him because he actually pays attention to me and showers me with love when we’re in the same room but I’m also extra anxious around him because in the past he’s gone thru my phone and started fights over completely innocuous texts I send with my mom or stuff I react to on fb, and he’s started full on fights and accused me of cheating when I’m not doing anything of the sort.
But when I’m not around him (I live 2 hours away so I only get to see him 4 days out of a month) I get very depressed because it’s like I don’t exist when we’re not in the same room. He doesn’t show me any affection when we’re apart, doesn’t compliment me at all, gets annoyed when I say I miss him/love him, gets angry at me for having panic attacks, etc. And he won’t say anything at all about selfies I post of me and him being happy and in love, but he’ll go compliment other women on fb/instagram, tell them how great they look (most of them are half naked), and when I’ve told him how that makes me feel he gets angry and yells at me and says we should break up because I’m accusing him of cheating.
So I don’t look at his social media anymore and I don’t text him as much anymore because I honestly don’t feel like it gets me anywhere other than anxious and depressed. He’s even said in the past “well since you like talking so much about how you wanna kill yourself, why don’t you just go ahead and do it?” He’s also physically a*used me and SA’d me, so he’s basically as bad as my a*usive exhusband.
Sad thing is that nowadays I feel happier when I don’t have to interact with him or he doesn’t pick up my calls. It means I can do what I want and have time to myself.

The problem was I was veryyy attracted to his natural scent. My body responded to him as if we were one, in every way. That's why it was so hard to let go.

Child very, very healthy and clever and physically ahead of the curve etc. Mental health on the guy turned out to be less than stellar. Time will tell how much that influenced/influences our child.
Some of these symptoms are also dealing with "family" and "friends", not just romantic relationships. It's the familiar energy your body pick up on.

- You get night terrors or can’t sleep well
- Your stomach feels intense terror when he is around
- You can smell his sweat and it absolutely turns you off (when you are compatible his smell should agree with you)
- Your hair falls out or starts getting grey
- The thought of his body fluids (semen, blood, tears, sweat, saliva) grosses you out.
- Yawning. If you can’t stop yawning like crazy whenever you run into him or you are expending time together. And is not a good yawn like when you are sleepy and relaxed, rather it just comes out of nowhere as the instinctual reaction whenever you see him… take note. Animals instinctively yawn whenever they are around a predator. You don’t have to think he is one, you can adore his company…. but your body will know. It will yawn to keep you awake and give you extra oxygen in case you have to escape. Constant yawning anytime you see him is your body alerting you that you actually feel restless / endangered. Is not a deal breaker but certainly something good to keep in mind.

Anyway my mom is a manipulative narcissist of the worst kind. About 10 years ago I started to develop vitiligo (white skin patches) on my body which spread a lot more on my hands in the last year.
At the start of this year had a big falling out with her and have finally gone no contact. And lo and behold after a few months of not dealing with her BS, I looked at my hands one day and noticed that all the white patches have started to disappear and my melanin started coming back and filling in!!! Other people noticed as well. The woman was causing me so much stress it was causing an autoimmune condition that was turning my skin white.
So t’s just not worth maintaining relationships with these type of destructive people. Family or not!

I dated 2 sociopaths 5 years apart, but didnt know until i was leaving them.
With the first one, i gained 15 pounds almost as soon as we started hanging out even before i liked him or things got romantic.
After being together for like 6 weeks, i got a flu and was sick for almost 6 weeks.
We moved in together after a year, and within a year of living together i lost 70 pounds, broke out in hives once, had an allergic reaction that made throat shut down 80%, had food poisoning twice where i was sick for 6 weeks. This was all during covid when we were on full lock down.
The doctors were baffled and checked for auto immune disease and tons of allergy testing.
I told the doctor my body is rejecting my ex and im sure all this will stop when i leave him. And it immediately did.
The 2nd sociopath was my friend for a year before i started to look at him romantically.
The first night it was like my feelings changed for him, we sat and watched the stars for hours,just talking, and the next day i had Sciatica and couldn't walk, and I'd never had Sciatica so i didnt even know what was wrong.
2 weeks later he asked me to be his girl and 4 weeks later i started to get hives atleast twice a week.
After being with him for 8 months, the smell of his skin and bodily fluid started to disgust me and i started to get period pimples around my chin, even though they weren't due yet for that part of my cycle.
The idea of sleeping with him started to gross me out so i stopped.
A month later,i had a seizure for the first time ever. And then had 2 more, each one was 1 week apart.
I had 2 ct scans and tons of testing done and there were no results... doctors found nothing.
But by the 3rd Seizure i recognised this as a pattern in comparison to the last time this stuff happened with the ex.
In fact, this extreme reaction by my body is what made me realise that this Prince Charming must be a worst sociopath than my ex.
I blocked and deleted him from everything, washed my sheets to get rid of his smell and after 2 weeks my body released 10 pounds. And i never had a seizure again.
The day i blocked my ex was the day i met my husband. And my body knew the difference immediately.
I felt light, calm and energized like a purring cat and really happy... smiling till my face hurt in our first conversation.
Our bodies keep the score ladies.❤

This is true for ANY relationship, family, friend, partner it's true. For me it was friends and family. Now I'm introverted, shy and anxious. But I have felt for at ease and comfortable around grown strangers than ppl I'm supposed to be close to. I'm always nervous, or uncomfortable, migraines too, always drained or exhausted during/after interaction. Even after Spending years and forcing myself to acclimate being around these ppl ( I had 0 choice) at best, I was always on eggshells or constantly feel like my personal space is violated, and uncomfortable/unwilling to talk about or share personal information, space or things. But for anyone reading this, don't wait fir ppl to give u a reason to leave ( it will cost to much) if u dislike someone or don't like being around them for "no reason" just leave, I guarantee there is one, don't find found what just go

This isn't always about the man himself necessarily but low level chronic infections people carry, or the environments they live/work in. Either way though, if your health is affected, always choose vitality. Another one to look out for is if you suddenly start getting painful periods when you didn't before. And I'm over here baffled because I hated (still do actually) EVERYTHING about this man. From his smell to the way his voice sounds. And yet, this picture perfect person was the result of this rather unfortunate experience. Wild.

During my last serious relationship, I could not stand sleeping in the same bed as my ex. He snored really loud and would get pissy if I used white noise to mask the sound, because he couldn't sleep if there was any noise going on. I had to sleep in a separate bedroom to get any kind of relief, which surprise, he hated that I didn't sleep in the same bed as him! I just could never relax and fall asleep around him. Which was a sign I ignored for almost 4 years.
With my current partner, who also snores, he cares about my sleep quality and bought me sleep earbuds that play white noise so I can sleep soundly. But I feel such peace and safety with him that I can fall asleep around him and feel rested, but when I'm away from him, I don't sleep as good.
Your body will tell you before you even think it. If you feel at peace and safe around your partner, then you have a good one.

I felt this way with my ex husband. I always felt sick, without being physically sick and I always felt anxious around him
I had random periods, random spots on my body would itch, and felt like my energy drained like a big rush, plus mentally kept on thinking I needed to get him out of my space. For some reason I was so dry in my vagina and that it was painful so I had to dump him. There was no point in trying to have sex with him. Plus I had these same feelings during the last part of my marriage to a narcissistic person.

If he smokes weed and u started to do it with him...i can tell u that was y'all bond y'all didn't have anything for real...ask me how i know 😒 cuz the minute i said hey i don't really like being high it's not me oh baby the relationship was just over he started leaving to smoke with his friends hardly ever saw him, open deep conversations were gone cuz when sober we actually really didn't get along with each other and he stays high and i don't so 😒

I couldn't stand his smell. It was like what I imagined a corpse would smell like; a stinch.
I didn't want him around, to touch me or on my furniture that I found myself cleaning profusely until that smell was gone.

My body and soul would feel heavy like carried a 100 pounds blocks on my shoulders and my heart. Broke up 3 times each time same feelings than i decided no more manipulation from taking him bac( he is a covert narcissist).

Sometimes it's psychologically easier to suppress our feelings than face what's there. I knew it was time to leave my fiance when I kept feeling sick and depressed having to continue being around him and we definitely weren't doing anything physical anymore. I was really young (both of us were 20) and didn't want to admit our four year relationship wasn't forever. He wasn't abusive, but he wasn't a good partner for most of the relationship. I felt guilty at the thought of leaving because he didn't have a great family and we were together since high school. He isn't a bad person and to his credit he essentially told me it was okay to break up and he didn't want to keep me from anything. I do hope he's doing well and has been able to find close connections outside his family.
One of the main signs for me when I cant stand his natural body odour anymore. I used to love my exes smell...but once he started to act up and i started to dislike him...i couldnt stand his smell anymore. Or the thought of kissing me was making me🤢

UTI’s and bloating, when I was married I was always bloated to where my stomach hurt a lot and was painful so I went to the doctor and he said it’s from the toxic and separation we are going through and after divorcing my bloat and pain went away!!

The way ‘she’ would STANK a day or two after we would do the deed. Like, I could smell myself through my clothes and felt so unclean. BV was my bff for months and I couldn’t understand why. Tried showering before hand, even asked him to stop smoking and drinking as much. Walked away from him because he refused to commit, he came back around a new, sober, non-smoker, mature person a year later…..literally no issues now.

I really needed this comment. I'm experiencing the exact same thing. Your story is the last kick I need to go through with what I've been subconsciously feeling for a while now. This is generally my person, just not now. He is not there yet. And if he truly IS my person, it'll be when some work has been done beforehand.
When a man's presence gives you peace that is an actual " high value man". If he is just a source of anxiety he is extracting value from you and no SANE woman wants that.
This video is accurate. Just sleeping next to him in the beginning, I would wake up drenched in cold sweat. And also, I never had a UTI until I met him.
Edit: I think this is worth a mention. I once dated a guy and every time he came over to my house, it was like a Tasmania Devil just entered my home and when I would sleep with him, I would feel completely depleted, hollow inside myself. I would feel completely empty as if he snatched something energetic from me. As soon as he would leave, I would be under my blanket for days comforting myself. I’m older and wiser now, and I know exactly what that was. He was toxic and stealing my youthful energy.
