    Thanks I will work on these tips. I find I can jump much higher on my 10 M v11 edge vs the 13m V 11 edge. I think it’s just turning speed is so much faster with the 10. Thanks again for the tips

    Thanx Ruben..you tell me exactly what I miss when I'm up in the air😅
    Where do I look and where do I go when I'm in the air...I crash most of the times..🫣
    Can you do maybe some lessons in Dutch language??
    Looking forward to my next session🤙

    Something I started doing during my last session is getting a small as possible during the takeoff by bending both knees and bending a little more at the waist. It makes it much easier to keep the edge in the water at faster speeds and it also makes it a lot easier to carve into the wind on takeoff. I don’t woo but my jumps felt much higher even though the wind was only in the 20-25 mph range.

      That exact shirt is not made anymore I think. A long sleeve version seems to be available from Adventure Toy Store. Also don’t think that those logos last a long on that cotton material. I have seen on Instagram a video where someone has carried something heavy for about 20 meters, when he finished carrying it, the half O-logo was peeled off from his shirt.

    Do you need to know how to heliloop first, before you start to try and jump as high as possible?

    • @Ericwalshe
      @Ericwalshe 10 місяців тому

      I can't heliloop but can downloop and haven't had any issues jumping 10m as long as you time the downloop well

      Once you are jumping above 10m for your knees sake learn all the heli variations jumping both ways. You never know when you are going to need it. Gusts and drops will determine how you land and the kite might not always be in position to downloop

    I doubt sending kite backward helps a lot. You can replace this move with a sweet downloop on the landing allowing you to slow down in the air and finish the jump with a slide.

      Sending the kite past 12 allows for a smoother downloop as it slows your forward speed allowing for you to send the kite more aggressively overhead providing better vertical lift while you have less speed across the water for a softer landing.
