The whole make a anime with Vtubers has and still is being made by several of these companies including Hololive themselves. They have a mini series on their main channel called HOLOGRA. Its basically like a miniature anime series of skits and stuff of them goofing off and doing wacky crazy things. If want to react to them I don't think anyone would protest against it.
Also one song I would recommend is the song that basically catapulted the start to Vtuber companies and their rising popularity. It's called OCHAME KINOU. It has 42 million viewers and its basically a introductory song to Hololive.

This is a cover but the creator of the original(niki) has praised this cover and said that Towa made this her song. Since then that same creator has worked with Towa on a lot of Towa's original music.
No offense. I do like this cover, but for me, the one that make this song her is Hanatan. She's an Utaite but also a vtuber. The fact that Towa at the moment of recording this was essentially an amateur baffles me; prior to that she never took singing lessons, everything she did was in karaoke or small idol groups (this is previous to her hololive career), it was until later in holo that she started getting singing lessons, and it is astounding the power, control and versatility of her voice; Raimei, Sanvitalia, Anemone, all of her original songs from her newest album are just mind blowing. Still, ERROR is still a cover that shows everyone the kind of singer Towa is; behind the cutesy, gyaru-like nasal voice that Towa usually uses on her streams, when people suddenly hear this raw, powerful voice, everyone just basically stops to check if it is real.
All of the talents in Hololive production (HoloPro), which includes the female members (Hololive) and the male members (Holostars), can sing and released at least one cover or original music but not all of them are music-focused artists. For the female members recently Hololive in association with Universal Music Japan created a Music Label for a bunch of their talents which includes Towa. Maybe those talents are a good start point for the Japanese Branch. Regarding EN talents you have Mori and and IRyS focused on music (IRyS is marketed as a Vsinger) but EN branch has a lot of amazing voices and with their new generation we have now Nerissa Ravencroft (her voice is amazing). Hololive Indonesia has to powerhouses regarding their voices: Ayunda Risu (my personal favorite for HoloID) and Moona Hoshinova so you can check their music also. Also don't sleep on the male members (Holostars) they have very good music too. My personal pick is for HoloJP: Hoshimachi Suisei, Tokoyami Towa, Tsunomaki Watame, Sakamata Chloe, Omaru Polka, La+ Darknesss, Murasaki Shion and Hoshou Marine (Maybe you should wait a little longer to watch Marine's content for...reasons lol but she has bangers). For HoloEN: Mori, IRyS and Hakos Baelz (to be fair I love all of the EN girls). HoloID: Risu and Moona of course but Airani Iofifteen and Anya melfissa have nice covers or OG music. Well, I ranted enough about Hololive lmao. If you want another amazing Towa cover, her W/X/Y cover from 3 months ago is where she goes the lowest she's ever gone, and it's beautiful. Also, her cover of Blooming in the Mud with Holo EN member Hakos Baelz is equally as beautiful! Bae (as the fans and her genmates like to call her) has an EP called Pandæmonium that's really great. Calli also put out a brand new EP yesterday called JIGOKU 6, and the tracks are all bangers

For western audiences, someone singing in japanese, or any other language for that matter, all comes down to the voice and emotion. Towa projects so muuch in this piece! I cannot understand a word and her vocals still are impactful.

There was some event that I wont go deep into (because thats a whole bucket of worms) that led to Towa being (kinda) shunned by the Japanese audience, The overseas people took notice of this and fully supported Towa and criticized the culture that surrounded that incident Now her 3d live performance of this song is one of the most famous moments in the history of the fandom. Where Towa, who made a comeback through the support of the overseas viewers, (and of course those true fans who stuck with her) broke into tears while performing live. After then she would begin collaborations with the original composer of the song and she released her first ever single titled "Palette" (another one you should react to) And also, the next vtuber you should definitely check out is Hoshimachi Suisei. She's the very first vtuber to ever make it to The First Take channel and she also has quite the comeback backstory.

Towa has a story with "Error", it's her cover that watched her suffer a lot and become stronger with her overseas fanbase. She made the cover hers so much that even the producer of Error 'gave' it to her and even worked in her original song "Palette"
Hololive has a lot of amazing singers. Sure, there are a lot of them, and many create very enjoyable stuff but if we're talking top top tier - Its probably around 5-10: Suisei, Irys, Baelz, Towa, Calli, Watame, Nerissa (new to Holo, although in her past life has done many covers) and Risu (although Risu doesn't quite have the same backlog due to lots of reasons) to name a few. But even the ones who aren't top singers, they are still incredibly entertaining like Kiara, Marine, Aki etc... The EN and ID branches have been going for 3ish years, and JP for over 5 or so: So you aren't going to run out of even the S tier songs for a while

While Hololive haven't produced a broadcast anime as yet, they do produce an ongoing anime series called "Holo no Graffiti" (aka. HoloGra) on the main Hololive channel (@hololive). They've also produced animated promotional videos for various projects, including "Hololive Alternative" (aka. HoloAlt), HoloEarth, and Hololive Summer 2023. Various Hololive talents have been involved in anime and anime related projects, including Tokino Sora (the founding Hololive member) appearing in "Virtual-san wa Miteiru" and staring in "Watanuki-san Chi no" (2019), and appearances of JP 1st generation talents Shirakami Fubuki and Natsuiro Matsuri in "The Detective Is Already Dead." 8:24 i believe there are around 80 members now. they do some side project now and then. for example some of their talents formed groups `collabs` where they stream or do multiple activities together, `shiraken` being on them. they have a manga series going on which is also voiced by all the members on flare`s channel. ill add a reply with the link in case those are blocked.
towa and suisei are my personal favorite hololive singers, they're amazing and yes 2:40 but let's be honest, they are probably the highest level of hololive, i mean they three (Suisei, Towa, Calli) are the best known members of hololive for her singing skills

Unsurprisingly there are Vtuber animes, "Virtual-san wa Miteiru" (2019) and "Kizuna no Allele" (2023) come to mind. While Hololive haven't produced a broadcast anime as yet, they do produce an ongoing anime series called "Holo no Graffiti" (aka. HoloGra) on the main Hololive channel (@hololive). They've also produced animated promotional videos for various projects, including "Hololive Alternative" (aka. HoloAlt), HoloEarth, and Hololive Summer 2023.
Various Hololive talents have been involved in anime and anime related projects, including Tokino Sora (the founding Hololive member) appearing in "Virtual-san wa Miteiru" and staring in "Watanuki-san Chi no" (2019), and appearances of JP 1st generation talents Shirakami Fubuki and Natsuiro Matsuri in "The Detective Is Already Dead." On the music front the ED of "The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!", "Tsumari wa Itsumo Kujikenai!" is by Hololive's "NEGI☆U" unit, composed of the JP talents: Minato Aqua, Oozora Subaru, and Momosuzu Nene.
And since we started with Calli... Calli has a background in animation, and animated the MVs for her songs "NEZUMI Scheme" and "Black Sheep" herself.

and yes 2:40 but let's be honest, they are probably the highest level of hololive, i mean they three (Suisei, Towa, Calli) are the best known members of hololive for her singing skills

You should check their live 3D concerts. They are amazing.
Towa had a very non-controversial controversy early on in her career (that was made controversial by crazed cult-like JP fans)
Towa at the time was kept afloat by the recent influx of the global community that had just discovered Hololive thanks to Towa's gen-mate in Hololive's 4th JP generation, now retired member Kiryu Coco, who was the first bilingual member of Hololive Japan. At a live concert shortly after the controversy Towa tried to sing a live rendition of this song where she was choked up and tears in from pretty much half way through.
Watch Towa's "FACT" original. Although she is a devil, some of her covers have a "church swing" to them, so her fans call her "tenshi" (angel in Japanese). FACT is more of her devilish side, but there's also "Hearts" if you want more church swing.
Hololive Anime: It exists. Several of them have voice acting roles in existing anime, two of them as themselves already. But if you want something longer check out the project Hololive Alternative and HoloEarth, they even have a manga drawn by the creator of Goblin Slayer. Oh by the way, they have over 50 talents in the agency now.
This song was just a cover of a Vocaloid track from nearly a decade ago. If you go into her original music library you'll find even better music.
You should check out Hakos Baelz and Towas cover of Blooming in the Mud. Hakos Baelz has in my opinion the most raw talent and potential in Hololive.
