if you aware of Kalafina, Keiko who in charge of the low range... when talking is like you know high pitch moe-moe, but when singing it's all low and mesmerizing. (And now she's solo she's showing her range for real)
The range really is insane. Every time I hear it I'm just in awe. And exactly! There's so much talent in Hololive and it feels like they can do it all. So fun, so inspiring to watch!
@@velocityofcl best voices I'd say are AZKi, Suisei, Sora, Towa, Aki, Okayu and Subaru. Polka, Risu and Gura are also really good. Of course, I wouldn't say any girl in Hololive is downright bad, except maybe for Coco, who readily admits singing is not her forte. Subaru, ironically, also doesn't think of herself as a great singer, and doesn't do much of it ever but, unlike Coco, her range is massive. Her natural tone is in a sorts of goldilocks range for a singer, really, she just doesn't seem to be as much into it as some of the other girls.
I once listened to Towa's Error on repeat for 8hrs straight when I was working 8hrs, I did it for 2 consecutive days so that's 16 hrs of Towa on repeat. It just made my work stress disappears.
Ah man massive respect to you for powering through that! It's so amazing how listening to Towa also helped you in this. Was definitely one of the best vtuber/idol-y moments I've seen. Was also an incredible way to end the Gen4 3D debuts as she went last and Error was the last thing she did.

I would argue that Towa has the best and most powerful singing voice in Hololive (Also note: Hololive has alot of great singers Towa just happens to be my personal favorite. I also have only seen hololive main branch and haven't seen holostars. Please let me know if there is any other singers you recommend)

Whoops, it seems my comment has come late! Towa Tokoyami is my favourite member of Hololive, and has by far the largest concentration of foreign fans in the JP branch. In March 2020, she made a mistake that caused her to be suspended for one week, and a large portion of the JP fanbase initially left her behind. Western fans considered the reasoning for her suspension a cause to back and support her, and created, in my opinion, the strongest and most tightknit fanbase in Hololive. However, by the time of her 3D debut, the number of subscriptions were among the lowest in the company, and this stuck out as she was, at the time, the most recent to debut. But during her 3D debut people were captivated by her singing - particularly her rendition of ERROR that closed the show. She cried during that performance, and it's since become a staple of her relationship with her fans, usually being sung when she reaches milestones or during other special occasions. In the months between her 3D debut and now, she has been involved in many, many more collaborations with the other members, which has put some well-deserved spotlight on her. Yesterday, Towa reached 400,000 subscribers. I know these are just people behind anime characters, but I think Towa's rise - and the community she garnered - is a really special little tale. The Kenzoku really go above and beyond for her.
Just ignore people who leave her in the past, true kenzoku will never leave her. Anyway, sorry for this, I just got little triggered, not only overseas fanbase that furious on that incident day, many of us keep questioning cover decision and supporting her.
@@hotkokoa She has one of the strongest fanbases in the company, and has been in 11 collabs since the start of 2021. The Kenzoku have done everything they can for her and I think she's really going to hit her stride this year.

On "duality" voice, a good share of hololive has it (with good to total control on it): Risu, Moona, Kanata (still the best vocal range in hololive), Towa, Calli (check her cover of Feel Good Inc), Fubuki, etc. And yeah (with exceptions: Coco, Botan, Korone, Subaru, Amelia, Polka and someone else that now I forgot) they have good to excellent singing/idol skills, and when they use it, it absolutely shows.

The cover reached 2 million views yesterday! She closed of her 3d debut by singing this song live (the cover was released shortly after the stream) and towards the end you could hear that she was crying or at least about to cry but just pushed through it

Towa's more nasaly voice during her game stream is more of a character thing, THIS, is her real voice. You can tell when hololive members singing are ''in-character'' or themselves, and Towa definitely has one of the most drastic change. All I can say is that there's a reason this cover is Legendary xD. Someone in the comment mentionned Towa's other cover, one of them being in Kanji only in the title, if that interests you, it is 百鬼祭 (It's a completely different feel than Error, but one of my favorite cover also ^^)

Dunno if y'all noticed it since she dropped the song, but someone actually picked up on something quite interesting regarding the original song's rhythm/beat and how Towa's vocals elevate and compliment it. So, someone that was requested to drum to this song actually has years of church musician experience, and they picked up almost immediately that the song's rhythm has what they like to call a classic, contemporary Christian swing/ballad to it, which is only further elevated by Towa's absolutely angelic vocals. Towa really is Hololive's resident angel~

towa: most unique voice + great at singing + best range suisei: best control of her voice + best singing skills conclusion: official collab needed (there's a clip of them singing Lion together in group karaoke stream and the chemistry is crazy) might be biased bc im a hoshiyomi, but suisei is best hololive singer imo (she was also 1st place in the vtuber music awards a while back with Next Color Planet so its not like i dont have a basis for why....)
she outdid herself when singing this during holofes 2nd, the original singer is good but for Towa this song is personal the lyric resonance with her so much thus result in the epic performance whenever she sang this.
According to Towa's lore, she is a devil that went to the human to cause some chaos. But somehow all her efforts is pretty wholesome to the point of that people started thinking that Towa is and Angel instead. Her fans like to call her TMT which means Towa-sama Maji Tenshi aka Towa-sama is Really an Angel. And thanks to her Angelic singing voice, people are even more convince that Towa is an Angel who looks like a Devil.

Towa is the power voice of hololive, in my opinion, no one can achieve the raw strengh in her voice, while is it true that Suisei and Kanata can reach power notes, their voices ends up being really melodic, Towa's doesn't, her voice is pure strengh and i think that is her distinc value and her unique factor when it comes to singers in hololive. Towa has 3 official covers on her channel apart from ERROR, one is brilliant, the first one, then came Kuroi hitsuji (black sheep) (ERROR would come after that if i remember correctly) and the most recent one, hundred demons festival (name is fully in japanese so may be a bit hard to find by searching) All of them amazing songs, and all of them definetly worth hearing to. Nice reaction as always, glad that you guys finally reacted to it, i really think that Towa's singing is a bit underappreciated, specially by japanese people, probably because of past events. ERROR still pulls good viewership i would say tho.

This song originally made long time ago in 2010 by Niki using a Vocaloid name Lily, and has been covered and re-tuned over and over. Still I don't like when people say BEST and not one of the BEST singer's. Sora-chan(For her energetic high pitch and smooth transition),AZKI(for her amazing emotion control and beautiful voice),cocoa(powerful voice but calm), and saki hashizawa(I'm not a fan of powerful voice but she's an exception along with cocoa) are my favourites among vsinger so give them a try.

Towa Tokoyami is my favourite member of Hololive, and has by far the largest concentration of foreign fans in the JP branch.
In March 2020, she made a mistake that caused her to be suspended for one week, and a large portion of the JP fanbase initially left her behind. Western fans considered the reasoning for her suspension a cause to back and support her, and created, in my opinion, the strongest and most tightknit fanbase in Hololive.
However, by the time of her 3D debut, the number of subscriptions were among the lowest in the company, and this stuck out as she was, at the time, the most recent to debut.
But during her 3D debut people were captivated by her singing - particularly her rendition of ERROR that closed the show. She cried during that performance, and it's since become a staple of her relationship with her fans, usually being sung when she reaches milestones or during other special occasions.
In the months between her 3D debut and now, she has been involved in many, many more collaborations with the other members, which has put some well-deserved spotlight on her. Yesterday, Towa reached 400,000 subscribers.
I know these are just people behind anime characters, but I think Towa's rise - and the community she garnered - is a really special little tale. The Kenzoku really go above and beyond for her.
Her recent members only stream was impressive. I think she may be due for a big year. . She's found her voice

The Kenzoku have done everything they can for her and I think she's really going to hit her stride this year.

On "duality" voice, a good share of hololive has it (with good to total control on it): Risu, Moona, Kanata (still the best vocal range in hololive), Towa, Calli (check her cover of Feel Good Inc), Fubuki, etc.
And yeah (with exceptions: Coco, Botan, Korone, Subaru, Amelia, Polka and someone else that now I forgot) they have good to excellent singing/idol skills, and when they use it, it absolutely shows.

Towa's more nasaly voice during her game stream is more of a character thing, THIS, is her real voice. You can tell when hololive members singing are ''in-character'' or themselves, and Towa definitely has one of the most drastic change. All I can say is that there's a reason this cover is Legendary xD.

Dunno if y'all noticed it since she dropped the song, but someone actually picked up on something quite interesting regarding the original song's rhythm/beat and how Towa's vocals elevate and compliment it. So, someone that was requested to drum to this song actually has years of church musician experience, and they picked up almost immediately that the song's rhythm has what they like to call a classic, contemporary Christian swing/ballad to it, which is only further elevated by Towa's absolutely angelic vocals. Towa really is Hololive's resident angel~

According to Towa's lore, she is a devil that went to the human to cause some chaos. But somehow all her efforts is pretty wholesome to the point of that people started thinking that Towa is and Angel instead. Her fans like to call her TMT which means Towa-sama Maji Tenshi aka Towa-sama is Really an Angel. And thanks to her Angelic singing voice, people are even more convince that Towa is an Angel who looks like a Devil.

Towa is the power voice of hololive, in my opinion, no one can achieve the raw strengh in her voice, while is it true that Suisei and Kanata can reach power notes, their voices ends up being really melodic, Towa's doesn't, her voice is pure strengh and i think that is her distinc value and her unique factor when it comes to singers in hololive. Towa has 3 official covers on her channel apart from ERROR, one is brilliant, the first one, then came Kuroi hitsuji (black sheep) (ERROR would come after that if i remember correctly) and the most recent one, hundred demons festival (name is fully in japanese so may be a bit hard to find by searching) All of them amazing songs, and all of them definetly worth hearing to.

Sora-chan(For her energetic high pitch and smooth transition),AZKI(for her amazing emotion control and beautiful voice),cocoa(powerful voice but calm), and saki hashizawa(I'm not a fan of powerful voice but she's an exception along with cocoa) are my favourites among vsinger so give them a try.
