This is the kind of fluency i strive for. be able to fool native speakers into thinking that you are also a native speaker. でもまだ無理だね。もっとがんばらなきゃならない。 楽しい動画ありがとうございました! I've started learning Korean and someday Chinese thanks to you! Hopefully I can meet you in VRChat oneday lol.
I speak English, Tagalog, Spanish and Japanese but goddamn my pronunciations are not that good. You seriously do sound like a fluent speaker at many points 😂
this is so fun, i wanted to start learning japanese and consider korean too. your videos make me so happy because i want to be able to speak like that too!
I can recommend Kanji Tree. It teaches recognition (single kanji -> meaning), reading (word -> pronunciation & meaning) and writing (drawing kana & kanji). Recognition is grouped by kana, school grades (Jōyō) and advanced. Reading groups by JLPT and common words (8000 total in 1k packs). Writing has all of those groups.
I really recommend creating your own decks because you will make it from things you have experienced and will stick much better. I think the most important thing is to make cards with the full phrase where the word you want to learn is used, not just one word, it makes it easier to memorize and you can see the word used in context (and also helps to practise reading and grammar) Also pasting images helps a lot (for example if it's from a video/anime, an image of when the word is used)
Hey, when you say you've been learning Japanese for ten years, do you mean actively or you have been consuming JP media for that long, and if you have actively been learning do you have some tips, I've been consuming JP media for 10ish years and can understand pretty well but my ability to form sentences is nonexistent. edit: I just saw in my recommended "Polyglot Explains How to Become Conversational in Any Language"

hey can u give me some apps for learning japanese or any anki decks?
For anki I make my own decks, the only other main app I use is a dictionary app! I use tokoboto on android 👍

We need an Anki video please ❤@@TigerinTranslation
I would recommend mining your own words, but kaishi 1.5k is pretty good starter deck

Ah! I actively studied for about 6 years? And for the last 4 it's been passive since I'm focusing on other languages now!
