I kinda agree with you on the shinyness. I recently got WB Sunny on sale and I LOVE her! ....But the shinyness on her skin is really throwing me off. I hope they remake the series 1 dolls someday without the shinyness because yeah, very distracting. Also agree about Violet with the bangs, but I only have the JH Violet and her bangs look so much better. Nice video!
I bought a signature Bella from Target not long after she came out, and yes her face is very iridescent, but the other series 2 dolls don't have that intense of a shimmer. I recently bought and heavily restyled a Bella from Mercari for almost retail (With shipping). The second one is cuter, and she looks pretty with Jade's eyes.
I agree with everyone on this list except for sunny she’s my third favorite winter break doll under poppy and violet (wasn’t a fan of ruby and jade as dolls and skylars outfits) but I love hearing your opinions on rainbow high dolls! Thanks for the video ❤
I used a little of acetone and removed the highlighter on bella face. It gave her a matte face , and makes her look more natural. You can also use a magic eraser instead or the acetone.

violet was my first rainbow high and i got her right when they first dropped thinking she was gonna be my fav bc purple but literally until a month ago i couldnt even look at her bc she made me so mad LMAO the shiny skin and the bangs were so bad but i finally managed to fix them by washing her hair and then letting them dry with some conditioner in them and occasionally just going by to flatten them slightly and giving her half up/half down pigtails. avery also drove me insane bc i tried to fix her bangs and nothing i did would work out i ended up having to throw the pastel one away smh
Holy crap that poor bella!! I got her as soon as she came into stores, but mine is nowhere NEAR as dewey looking as yours🥲 I adore mine very much; but series 2/3 onward have been significantly better than series 1. Also Im the exact same way with Violet🤣🤣 I still think her designs cute but once the show came out I was like hm i dont like her very much, I think its funny ive found so many other RH fans in the same boat

Jewels randomly got the shiny face, however I think she wears it so well. The problem is they put wayyyyyy to much of the shimmer and it makes it really hard to photograph them. I don’t mind it at all but not when they look like Bella😂😂😂. I love Bella I think she’s so classic and timeless, but one doll I can not stand is series two Amaya, if her makeup wasn’t so intense I would’ve liked her 10 times better but the bright red lip with the contrasting blues it was just a mess.

Junior high ruby NEEDS bangs and the overalls need a strap hanging OR a overall skirt moment. with a short sleeved shirt. And she needs maybe pigtails or something. But the bangs are a must

The ones with shiny faces I agree look bad but its fixable, I also don't like ones with "surprised" looking eyebrows in high arch, also fixable. but they're all really cute, the clothes are the best of any doll line, and i love the colorful hair

I like Violet and Avery, but I think that is partly because they were my first RH dolls. I also love purple. I definitely agree that the newer dolls with different eye shape and matte skin look better. I wonder if MGA will eventually make the core characters with the new molds as well.
Winter Break was so weird to me because the ice skating outfits aren't winter themed. They're more autumn appropriate. And on top of that the only ones with actual ski slope appropriate gear are the snowboarding dolls which??? The only time I've seen people dress like that is when they're skiing in April and the sun is warm but the snow is still on the ground. Poppy and Violet are my favourites of those, ironically enough.
I messed around with S1 Voilet's hair even though I'm not talented that way, but I ended up plucking too much bang upfront, so now she wears Avery's purple wig and blended in with her hair, it's tolerable. 😆
It’s interesting that I feel the reverse about winter break and cheer. I actually really don’t like the cheer line while I love winter break. I also love ruby’s eye color. Again, these dolls are just so good that I love these stark differing opinions from all fans
I never got on board with original Bella. She looks really washed out, plus she's super glossy. Costume ball Bella is a huge improvement. Same goes for Violet.
okay HEAR ME OUT. So Bella is my favorite, but lowkey It's specifically Pacific Coast Bella. I agree with the face shine is nuts for series one. I also really love Georgia! You are right, MGA did really improve over time. 🐱 😊
I love Avery’s pixie hair sculpt. I display her without her wig. And….you’re not wrong about Bella 😬. Love her character, love her outfits, but the delivery of her face and hair is just a no.
I also display Avery without the wigs because even though it's molded, she is the only one representing us pixie girls! She makes me smile so much. We just need more pixie with actual hair.
okay, maybe if my Bella Parker looked like that…I wouldn’t like her either 😂😅 You have no idea how long I searched for Bella because she was SO expensive, but I finally found her on Amazon for 27$ and she must be a second batch or “budget” version because she is lighter than other RH dolls I have and the shine on her face is NOTHING like yours.
My least favorite RH doll is definitely Lyric...she is the absolute worst! I don't the hype behind Bella either...I think that people mostly like her because she is pink.
Oh I love Winter Break Sunny. I like her outfits. The shimmer is really cute and subtle on her too. Mine does not have the lines you showed on her eyeshadow. The eye shadow is subtle on my doll and hardly noticeable. How odd. I love my WB Sunny. She is really pretty. I also like Avery because I like wigs for dolls and I like her pixie cut without. I am not keen on Bella because she is too pink and too shiny for me. Her outfits is also not my cup of tea. I actually like second wave Amaya. It is true that many people dislike her.

I HAAAATE the og face sculpt now that we have e such a variety, it only works on Ruby and Poppy imo and I wish the others got updated faces. I wish Lyric and Ainsley didn't have it too. My least favorites are definitely Violet and Bella because the shine looks disgusting, and I'll add the new Maria and Roxie as least faves as well
I love Sunny, sooo much. but I couldn't stand my winter break sunny. I ended up accetoning her face and starting new while I went out and found the perfect winterbreak sunny with such nice makeup and none of that weird colour below her eyebrows
Bella is so shiny she looks like a ghost or an alien from outer space. Great for customs I see her as a supernatural being, an angel, a fairy or something. I think she is my least favorite RH doll. I really love this type of video where people share their likes and dislikes :)
So I love all rainbow high dolls especially series 1 the story was so much better than and not all over the place. More connection to characters. I love all there characters. I can’t believe the ones u have on this list…. Like a Bella? She’s my FAV. I really don’t care for Junior high dolls tbh…. Love Junior High Ruby, WinterBreak Sunny and Violet very much, but I think I would have put Avery also in the least favourites. Bella Parker not my favourite too, but not bad. The Bella I have doesn't have a shiny face, but only stupid hair.
i actully relly like bella and violet. i relly like the pastel color of bella also bealla outfis are all super cute. my bella is not as shiney as yours. i like the small eye brows but i natrually have small brows. for violet her colors are super pretty, i feel like i got the later release of her with the lighter colos showing up more in her hair. i actully like all of her outfit pecies i love how shes very over the top. i have not had any issues the her dress the sequins are well attached on mine. i personaly dont mind the shiny skin on the og dolls.

I like the Winter Dolls but I was only going to get the blue & red but when the others went on sale I got them too. I don’t like Sunny’s Animee clothes and she’s my least favorite in that line. I totally dont like your #3 doll, so I won’t ever bother to get her unless she’s at a thrift and then I’d totally redo her. I like Ruby but I don’t like the overalls and plan to make her a new outfit. She’s too girly for overalls. My favorite is Sheryl.
I don’t know if it’s just on-camera, but your Bella is soooo insanely greasy looking. She’d be on my least favorite list too. I have 2 and neither look that intense (and they’re totally in my top 10 😂 after Pacific Coast Bella, of course).
Even though Violet is a doll that people don’t like, my favourite Rainbow High doll is Junior High Violet, especially after restyling her hair into a single high ponytail.
JR Violet was my second ever (Jett just happeend to be on clearance when we were looking for her) and she's still in my top 10. Totally agree with you, though I did keep the pigtails on mine.

I LOVE my Winter Break Sunny. Whereas I could never connect with OG Sunny?? I have no Jr. High dolls. Probably won’t get them. My Avery Styles is my least favorite RH doll. Bella was my first RH doll. Yes, that shine is a big problem. I didn’t see it that way the day I bought her. Violet would be on my LEAST 5 favorite list, not sure which position exactly.
Another thing about Ruby's outfit? It doesn't dye right. I hate red, so when I bought her it was just for her red hair and to give her green eyes. I figured I'd just dye her outfit. Nope. I used black and it just will NOT take. It's driving me bonkers. I will say, my Ruby also had horribly tangled hair. I have no idea what happened but it was like melted tangled. I'd have returned her but I already took her apart fully, switched her eyes, etc and I ended up having to just trim her hair and it's like half the amount of rooting the others have. I don't like pink, so I don't care about Bella, but I'm salty about Violet because purple is my favourite colour. I hate every outfit piece and I hated her face. I ended up customizing her, taking out her bangs, and redoing her face and makeup but yeah, that doesn't count so I hated it. Same with winter break Violet, so sad. JR I love tho. I wiped Avery's face off the second I got the doll. I got her for the outfits and her eyes, so she's up on the customizing block as well. I don't usually buy colours I don't like and REALLY try to justify liking all the outfit pieces etc. Finn was out of his box and dyed purple within 5 minutes of being in my house and I love him. He sits on my desk with River. Krystal's on my shitlist for her eye makeup. OH Hali, man I wanted her SO bad cos I'm a california person and she screams california and I got her home and.... 0 connection. I had to customize her to even look at her.
Agree with Series 2 Bella, the shimmery, dewy skin of hers just throws her off because it's so visible that it looks so off putting. Out of all the dolls in my collection, my Bella stands out too much with the shimmery skin. Another least favorite of mine is Stella Monroe unfortunately since I recently got her too to complete Series 2 haha. Like I love the doll very much and her character in the show, but her outfit pieces except for her coat just underwhelms me. She comes from royalty but in both of her outfits, I don't see that at all. I hate the pink crop top (mine stained my doll's arms), the white pleather skirt, and her second outfit I wish it was a mini dress like her Junior High doll.
I personally do not like Bella Parker Doll either I just cannot connect with the shade of pink that they chose for her hair. Like even with the halloween, swim and Junior High dolls being so cute I just hate the shade of pink so much. I wish they would have used a different shade of pink completely for her
I love my WB Sunny and she does not have this weird eyeshadow. Her shimmer looks great because it is glittery and quite subtle too. It does not have that shiny look. I quite like the WB line generally. I only have 2 and I like them both. I also like the wave 1 dolls I have. I don't think they aged badly.
I restyled my Avery (I removed the tinsel from her wigs - I have her in her purple wig and dressed in some of Violet’s clothing) and she is still one of my least favorite dolls. I also dislike series 1 Violet. This is weird since purple is my favorite color.
Aight. I knew I liked you, Brooke. Avery and Bella both would have made my least favorites list for the same reasons you gave. A part of me like....wants to love them but I cannot connect with series 2 Bella or Avery at all. I just can't. And I always feel bad because I know everyone else seems to love Bella specifically but I just...can't love that core line Bella doll. My pacific coast Bella however, I love.
Honestly, Lyric and Series 2 Bella bother me so much. The shiny skin looks so bad, and it looks the worst on Lyric imo. I know some people love her, but I just can't get over her face.
Tbh Violet is one of my Fav. RH Dolls to me she's defo a standout doll from the first line. I don't really like Finn(I prefer River), Jr. High dolls(They feel to poorly executed in conceot of timeline and actual clothing styles), and (except for Chanelle and Natasha) the SH dolls i just can't really connect to their greyscale skintones without any cool concept behind it. Aver really got done dirty with that Wig gimmick the wigs start to look hideous after a while and the extremely bad face shine), I wish she had rooted hair Instead of the wigs. I also really don't like Pink-ish colored dolls like Georgia is so pretty but i hate that peach colour, and darias pink hair is really not matching her colour at all. And to me Kia is really overpriced for her being just another Normal doll. Krystal is really pretty but her outfits are hideous they overdid the indigo colour on her. But tbh I think the doll that broke the cycle of the weird faces was Karma she was really a standout doll and prolly one of my top 5 dolls she introduced me to Series 2 and made me obsessed with restyling them. Bit nevertheless i think all the dolls are GORGEOUS with the right restyle.
How odd. My Avery has hardly any shine on her face. I bought her second hand on Ebay in perfect condition and I picked her because of her face (I could zoom lol). She only came with the light purple wig. It looks fantastic. It impressed me when I first received it. It is thick and great. I love WB Sunny and Karma is one of my favourite RH dolls.
Omg yes I can't stand Violet or Bella's OG dolls (and honestly I don't much care for either character in the web series either.) I have the purple Rainbow Surprise doll that was the template that got reworked into Violet and it's honestly depressing how much prettier the surprise doll is. Even with her awkward size, limited articulation, and painted eyes, she's still miles better than the series 1 Violet doll. In edition to those 2 I think Lyric, Stella, and Hali would fill out my 5 most disliked RH dolls (idk why I just cannot get into Hali, she has a pretty face and I've seen others restyle her beautifully I just get no inspiration when I look at that doll.)

Violet is the only doll I permanently altered...I painted her lips red and plucked the bangs. I just couldn't look at her...now she is better.

My least favorite RH doll is definitely Lyric...she is the absolute worst! I don't the hype behind Bella either...I think that people mostly like her because she is pink.
Oh I love Winter Break Sunny. I like her outfits. The shimmer is really cute and subtle on her too. Mine does not have the lines you showed on her eyeshadow. The eye shadow is subtle on my doll and hardly noticeable. How odd. I love my WB Sunny. She is really pretty.
I also like Avery because I like wigs for dolls and I like her pixie cut without.
I am not keen on Bella because she is too pink and too shiny for me. Her outfits is also not my cup of tea.
I actually like second wave Amaya. It is true that many people dislike her.
I think the appeal for Bella is the outfits. Maybe that’s why she’s so desirable in the secondary market. 🤷♂️

I HAAAATE the og face sculpt now that we have e such a variety, it only works on Ruby and Poppy imo and I wish the others got updated faces. I wish Lyric and Ainsley didn't have it too. My least favorites are definitely Violet and Bella because the shine looks disgusting, and I'll add the new Maria and Roxie as least faves as well

I love Sunny, sooo much. but I couldn't stand my winter break sunny. I ended up accetoning her face and starting new while I went out and found the perfect winterbreak sunny with such nice makeup and none of that weird colour below her eyebrows
Bella is so shiny she looks like a ghost or an alien from outer space. Great for customs I see her as a supernatural being, an angel, a fairy or something. I think she is my least favorite RH doll.

So I love all rainbow high dolls especially series 1 the story was so much better than and not all over the place. More connection to characters. I love all there characters. I can’t believe the ones u have on this list…. Like a Bella? She’s my FAV. I really don’t care for Junior high dolls tbh…. The concept I get kind of but it’s kind of dumb they didn’t know each other before rainbow high so dosen’t make sense . Love Junior High Ruby, WinterBreak Sunny and Violet very much, but I think I would have put Avery also in the least favourites. Bella Parker not my favourite too, but not bad. The Bella I have doesn't have a shiny face, but only stupid hair.

for violet her colors are super pretty, i feel like i got the later release of her with the lighter colos showing up more in her hair. i actully like all of her outfit pecies i love how shes very over the top. i have not had any issues the her dress the sequins are well attached on mine. i personaly dont mind the shiny skin on the og dolls.

I like the Winter Dolls but I was only going to get the blue & red but when the others went on sale I got them too. I don’t like Sunny’s Animee clothes and she’s my least favorite in that line. I totally dont like your #3 doll, so I won’t ever bother to get her unless she’s at a thrift and then I’d totally redo her. I like Ruby but I don’t like the overalls and plan to make her a new outfit. She’s too girly for overalls. My favorite is Sheryl.
I don’t know if it’s just on-camera, but your Bella is soooo insanely greasy looking. She’d be on my least favorite list too. I have 2 and neither look that intense (and they’re totally in my top 10 😂 after Pacific Coast Bella, of course).

Even though Violet is a doll that people don’t like, my favourite Rainbow High doll is Junior High Violet, especially after restyling her hair into a single high ponytail.

Another thing about Ruby's outfit? It doesn't dye right. I hate red, so when I bought her it was just for her red hair and to give her green eyes. I figured I'd just dye her outfit. Nope. I used black and it just will NOT take. It's driving me bonkers. I will say, my Ruby also had horribly tangled hair. I have no idea what happened but it was like melted tangled. I'd have returned her but I already took her apart fully, switched her eyes, etc and I ended up having to just trim her hair and it's like half the amount of rooting the others have. I don't like pink, so I don't care about Bella, but I'm salty about Violet because purple is my favourite colour. I hate every outfit piece and I hated her face. I ended up customizing her, taking out her bangs, and redoing her face and makeup but yeah, that doesn't count so I hated it. Same with winter break Violet, so sad. JR I love tho. I wiped Avery's face off the second I got the doll. I got her for the outfits and her eyes, so she's up on the customizing block as well. I don't usually buy colours I don't like and REALLY try to justify liking all the outfit pieces etc. Finn was out of his box and dyed purple within 5 minutes of being in my house and I love him. He sits on my desk with River. Krystal's on my shitlist for her eye makeup. OH Hali, man I wanted her SO bad cos I'm a california person and she screams california and I got her home and.... 0 connection. I had to customize her to even look at her.
Agree with Series 2 Bella, the shimmery, dewy skin of hers just throws her off because it's so visible that it looks so off putting. Out of all the dolls in my collection, my Bella stands out too much with the shimmery skin. Another least favorite of mine is Stella Monroe unfortunately since I recently got her too to complete Series 2 haha. Like I love the doll very much and her character in the show, but her outfit pieces except for her coat just underwhelms me. She comes from royalty but in both of her outfits, I don't see that at all. I hate the pink crop top (mine stained my doll's arms), the white pleather skirt, and her second outfit I wish it was a mini dress like her Junior High doll.

Like even with the halloween, swim and Junior High dolls being so cute I just hate the shade of pink so much. I wish they would have used a different shade of pink completely for her

I love my WB Sunny and she does not have this weird eyeshadow. Her shimmer looks great because it is glittery and quite subtle too. It does not have that shiny look. I quite like the WB line generally. I only have 2 and I like them both.
I also like the wave 1 dolls I have. I don't think they aged badly.
I don't like avery because of the shiny skin. Even with mine who has neck articulation still has shiny skin
I restyled my Avery (I removed the tinsel from her wigs - I have her in her purple wig and dressed in some of Violet’s clothing) and she is still one of my least favorite dolls. I also dislike series 1 Violet. This is weird since purple is my favorite color.

Avery and Bella both would have made my least favorites list for the same reasons you gave. A part of me like....wants to love them but I cannot connect with series 2 Bella or Avery at all. I just can't. And I always feel bad because I know everyone else seems to love Bella specifically but I just...can't love that core line Bella doll. My pacific coast Bella however, I love.

Honestly, Lyric and Series 2 Bella bother me so much. The shiny skin looks so bad, and it looks the worst on Lyric imo. I know some people love her, but I just can't get over her face.

Tbh Violet is one of my Fav. RH Dolls to me she's defo a standout doll from the first line. I don't really like Finn(I prefer River), Jr. High dolls(They feel to poorly executed in conceot of timeline and actual clothing styles), and (except for Chanelle and Natasha) the SH dolls i just can't really connect to their greyscale skintones without any cool concept behind it. Aver really got done dirty with that Wig gimmick the wigs start to look hideous after a while and the extremely bad face shine), I wish she had rooted hair Instead of the wigs. I also really don't like Pink-ish colored dolls like Georgia is so pretty but i hate that peach colour, and darias pink hair is really not matching her colour at all. And to me Kia is really overpriced for her being just another Normal doll. Krystal is really pretty but her outfits are hideous they overdid the indigo colour on her. But tbh I think the doll that broke the cycle of the weird faces was Karma she was really a standout doll and prolly one of my top 5 dolls she introduced me to Series 2 and made me obsessed with restyling them. Bit nevertheless i think all the dolls are GORGEOUS with the right restyle.
How odd. My Avery has hardly any shine on her face. I bought her second hand on Ebay in perfect condition and I picked her because of her face (I could zoom lol). She only came with the light purple wig. It looks fantastic. It impressed me when I first received it. It is thick and great.

Omg yes I can't stand Violet or Bella's OG dolls (and honestly I don't much care for either character in the web series either.) I have the purple Rainbow Surprise doll that was the template that got reworked into Violet and it's honestly depressing how much prettier the surprise doll is. Even with her awkward size, limited articulation, and painted eyes, she's still miles better than the series 1 Violet doll.
In edition to those 2 I think Lyric, Stella, and Hali would fill out my 5 most disliked RH dolls (idk why I just cannot get into Hali, she has a pretty face and I've seen others restyle her beautifully I just get no inspiration when I look at that doll.)
