    Hey everyone, I hope you enjoyed today's video! I noticed the audio was a bit lower quality than usual, I recently upgraded microphones for this camera and am still figuring it out but audio quality should be better in the next video. Regardless I hope you still enjoyed this one and I'll see you next week :)

    It can be simple for you, but for me it's more complex than what I used to. You helped me with more ideas to keep my system more functional and minimal, thanks for share as always.
    Love your videos! ✨❤️

    Hi Kaitlin! Thanks for sharing your Digital and analog process. I do some thing really similar but I’m using the Apple Reminders app To keep track of my tasks and then when I need to schedule them on my calendar I can just drag them over to iCal. So I’m trying out using a two book system for bullet journaling. I have turned my A5 Leuchtturm Bullet Journal into more of a logbook. So I set up the monthly logs where I record what actually happened on each day and I have a few other logs like for health and work tasks that I want to record what I actually did. I’ll also record my goals and intentions for the beginning of the month and then I’ll do my monthly review in it. I plan on updating the logs on a weekly basis. Then my daily and weekly pages are in an A6 notebook. I just fell in love with the size and I like carrying it around. I use approximately a page per day some days more than one page. At the end of the week I’ll sit down with the A6 and then complete the monthly logs in my A5. I just started this so I haven’t quite worked out if I’m going to record weekly reflect in the A5 or the A6. I definitely know I will do monthly reflections in the A5 so I have a record. I am also keeping my collections in Apple notes and I am able to have task lists for different projects in Apple notes and put them into Apple reminder app. I find that I need the digital reminder so that I don’t forget about tasks and when they are due.
    Anyways, it probably sounds more complicated than it is. It took a little bit a time to set up but now that it’s running it’s relatively easy to manage. The biggest change is that I just have to get used to looking at the tasks in the reminders app when I sit down with my A6 bullet journal to plan my day. I usually always have my phone with me so it’s pretty easy to have that app open with my Bullet journal.

      Hey Karen! Glad you enjoyed the video, that sounds like a cool system, I'm glad you're experimenting with what works for you! Unless you feel like its too complex, I wouldn't worry about it, sometimes you gotta get creative and so what works for you ☺️

    Thank you Kaitlin! This was really useful. For a long time, I've been refusing to use any kind of digital system because I didn't really have the habit of checking my laptop or phone for reminders, but now that I'm getting more complex tasks and need to plan ahead a little better, I'm realizing I need to sync my notebook with my digital stuff somehow. Thank you for sharing!

      I was the same way Jam! I didn't get into digital planning until less than a year ago but once I started I loved it (especially the flexibility of checking my calendar anywhere!). Glad you enjoyed the video ☺️

    Thank you! From one Canadian to another! 📖🖋🇨🇦 I really like your set up. I also book in a morning time chunk M-F and a wind down session to close out the day. The only thing I don’t do is separate out my work streams. I work 2 jobs and I just use one calendar labelled work. I might consider changing that after seeing this.

      Hello fellow Canadian! Glad you enjoyed the video, yah I really like having my two jobs separate but I've always thought of them as separate things so that's why I organized my calendar to reflect that :)

    • @KaitlinGrey

      Of course Karina :) They’re called Midori index tabs (in the colour bronze), I got mine from a local stationery store in toronto called paper plus cloth but you can also get them from Jet Pens

    Hi! Can I ask where you got the moon phase calendar for your Google calendar

    • @KaitlinGrey
      @KaitlinGrey  2 роки тому +1

      Hey! I got it by going under the 'other calendars' section on my google calendar. You just select 'add other calendar' and go under the submenu 'browse other calendars'. There's this giant list of sports teams and other stuff, but if you scroll to the bottom there's one called 'Phases of the Moon' (which is the one I use)

    • @KaitlinGrey

      Hey Jauna, for sure! It's super easy, those icons are emojis that I add when I type in the name of the event :)

      My bad, let me clarify! I use the emoji keyboard that’s built into my MacBook, if you have a Mac you can press Fn then E and that brings up all the emojis 😊
