Literally nobody else is doing locations in Burning Shores, so I'm glad you covered it. The fault lines in the Los Angeles of Burning Shores have shifted so much that the city might be barely recognizable, but at least there are a few key landmarks and buildings left standing (or partially standing) that you can still somewhat find your way around (on the off chance that you either live in LA, have visited, or are using google maps to navigate around the in game map, which might be fun) This is awesome, I hope you do many, many more of these.

I just love these vids as a Canadian I’ve never been to any of these places IRL for both games. I really like how you capture the right angles for both comparison views. It’s a marvel the devs interpretations of these landmarks in a ruined earth 1000 years into the future.
There is one thing that dont make sense on ruins of Santa Monica pear, its made of wood and after a THOUSAND years it would definitely not exist any more, only the concrete and some metal would stand.
That could be handwaved to the various preservation materials they put on everything before the collapse, like the coating that kept the Hollywood sign intact all that time.
Right now we are literally coming up with special paints and coatings to protect buildings. Definitely by the 2060's will most landmarks be protected from wear and tear. Likely most of the buildings in the Horizon series didn't truly start falling apart until about a century before.
Also for a few hundred years I believe there was no bacteria or any kind of weather that would cause any kind of erosion due to the faro plague, its only about ~300 to ~400 years worth of wear and tear not a thousand.
As someone who live in South Central LA, I am somewhat disappointed that we did not get some love. The Forum in Inglewood, the LA Colossium, USC, Randy’s Donuts. Heck, I would have loved to see the giant sign. That can be seen on the 110 Freeway if you get on or off on MLK and Figueroa.
I don't know how games are made, let alone open world game maps... and I don't know these locations firsthand... but it seems to me that even though real life landmarks are recreated 1:1, distances between those landmarks are scaled down tens or sometimes hundreds of times. Like, in HFW I can fly across Nevada in 2 minute.

Kind of a silly question but when i purchase this dlc i just need to complete the main story right ? Not completing all the side quests wont have any effect on this dlc right ?
No se si soy el único al que el DLC ha decepcionado bastante en tema de contenido. La historia principal son 4 misiones, de secundarias hay 3 o 4 mas, coleccionables y el mapa es bastante pequeño con poca cosa que explorar. Introducen la nueva montura que te permite ir por debajo el agua pero no hay un uso mas allá de usarla en una misión. Por lo demás hay nuevas armas, nuevos atuendos y nuevas pinturas faciales. A mi me ha sabido a muy poco por los 20 euracos que cuesta el DLC. La duración de Witcher 3 Blood and Wine dura como unas 25 veces lo que dura este DLC y en su momento salió por 15 euros. Por lo demás la calidad es buena, los gráficos son abrumadores y la jugabilidad sigue siendo muy buena a pesar de que he notado que los niveles están muy rotos, ya que rara vez no mataba a las maquinas de un solo golpe si haces uso del sigilo. En pocas palabras, si estas pensando comprar el DLC espérate a que lo rebajen, porque pagar 20 euros para unas 10 horas de contenido máximo me parece un poco triste.

As a coaster enthusiast, I noticed West Coaster as soon as I saw it. It's really cool when a coaster you know is in a game.

There's an in-game information about how the Hollywood sign survived. It has a smart paint (nano bots) to maintain the sign clear and new.
