Nice intro. The zen details matter. Long build ahead of you. Can’t wait till it’s done. Apologies in advance if I feel compelled to steal your Lancia once it’s done!!! 😆😆😆
Thanks for the update! I do apologize if it was me who harassed you into an update. BTW…I am the fellow who has being blathering on about the fiat 850 spider for several years on xweb. You have seen my “creative options”! :) Time for you to dive in and start cutting!
Great man. I hear Midwest Bayless is soon moving forward with their Honda K series swap kits for the Lancia Scorpion. Expensive, but I think thats the direction I want to go with my '77. I still can't get over how well that Subaru drivetrain lays out in your car though. As I recently have been building two LegacyGT OutbackXT's, engine builds I had an experienced Subaru buddy put together for me.. I do love things about the Subaru tech. I love your build.
Thanks for the update, I look forward to seeing you put some of your incredibly creative ideas into action. It takes a lot of time and effort to do what you're doing, keep chipping way and let us know how it goes :)
Chris! It's Dan from the shop in PA!! Stopping through to say WHAT UP?! I know having a project down for that long can kill motivation, but keep at it! It will be so worth it in the end! I like your idea of extending the rear fenders out a bit!
Looks like a nice montecarlo. Obviously this is a scorpion variant which were downgraded to 80/90hp for the american market so are you going to upgrade its power to 120?

Thanks for the comment, with the 3.3 flat six I should be 220-230 to start but eventually hope to be up around 300.
3 months later…..
Thank you! I gotta hire you as my project manager!
