Thank you, I enjoyed that. Will be back tomorrow! I love your gentle and soothing voice. Also I noticed another commenter mention breathing in time with the squeezing. I'd also like to add that if you could integrate guided breathing in this workout then that'd also be great. Thank you!

wondering on the breathing in connection to both the slow & fast sets. when should I be inhaling/exhaling in connection to the kegels? thanks! love this follow along. just what I need for a daily pelvic floor practice for my pregnancy. so glad I found this!

On the slow sets I usually inhale to start, exhale on the contraction, and continue breathing while holding. For fast sets I don't really time them to the contractions, but just try to continue controlled breathing throughout. Hope this helps!

when doing the fast ones, am I looking to FULLY release relax the pelvic floor between each fast contraction, or just do the 100% relaxation in the little break between your 10s. countdowns?

Ideally yes. A contraction from a fully relaxed position will challenge the pelvic floor a lot more in terms of power. However, if you're having a lot of difficulty fully relaxing between reps, slow it down slightly. Or relax half-way, but make sure you're practicing a full relaxation with slow contractions. Hope this helps!

I have a hard time breathing while doing the fast ones almost like I’m hyperventilating how do I fix that

Maybe try focusing on the breathing first. Once you're got that down, add some slow kegels and gradually increase the speed until you're doing fast ones!

Can I do this even though I'm not pregnant?

Of course! It's a great way to work to strengthen the pelvic floor in general.

Is it normal that when I try to do the "stop my pee midstream",but instead it feels more like I'm stopping my p.oo midstream. Is that wrong or normal?

The pelvic floor is going to work around the vagina as well as the anus, so it's conceivable you're just feeling the pelvic floor muscles towards the back of the pelvis. If you're having any pelvic floor issues though, it may be worth seeing a pelvic physiotherapist!
