    I got this guitar as my first guitar a few months ago and couldn't be happier!

    For hardware, both bridge & tuners, I’d say Gotoh. For pickups, Seymour Duncan passives, I recommend either the Black winter setup or the JB in the bridge & Jazz in the neck configuration.

    I got this guitar last week and I'm not a beginner player. I got it for a home practice guitar for in between gigs. Now with as good as this guitar sounds and looks it may get some live gig songs. Someone shared they had used this guitar live so I'll be adding it to my more expensive Schecter guitars. Love the video dude!!!

    Good to see it’s able to play BM without sounding bad. I’d mostly use it for that or doom so it’s a solid start

    That was the first thing I noticed(the chip).. but still considering this or a seven string gio.

      It's a throw around anyways. She going to end up with more than a chip in the headstock! Hope you're happy with whatever guitar you end up choosing! Let me know what you get, love to know how the seven string gio plays

    Cool. Got same idea a week ago when I find for a bargain price a brand new fender squier mustang special with 2 HB and a 24" scale neck, that's nut. Is not a short scake neither a minion guitar scale that are very hard to keep in tune and also requires specific custom mods ti stay in tune and sound cool. I find a cool bridge that is made here in Italy from a custom shop of witch I must ask the name. Is a fixed bridge with saddles hipshot stile and you can also adjust the height of the bridge floyd rose style but is absolutely not a floyd nor a strato bridge style. So zero issues for pitch problems even if you rest your whole palm on it and push hard as hell (know that also one has no reason to do a dumb stuff like that but, just 'saying 😂).
    But needs also specific tuners that requires an headstock Gibson style and also you've to cut it with liuther precision to get an "hole" classic guitar style (not exactly but sorta) to mount those tuners, got the right radius and reach a tuning stability and the lower action you can dream about also on upper strings to litteraly fly on your neck at speedlight also with chords and so riffs.
    May you should try to get as humbucker in this one, and imo will be ok just to swap the bridge and keep the neck hum unwired (lol) choosing a Bare Knukle Humbucker. Many, or better, best gtr player that I know and are also endorser for other hardware trademarks (lol) tell md confidentially that really, SD, EMG, Fishman have got some jewels in their own catalogue and also custom shop but that, in the end, those "trademarks" sorta built their stuff more or less using same cables, knob pot, and electronic stuff and also not shares but...well when one of the three (and not only) got an ultimate Hum or Single coil from their own prototypes "factory" they agree to sorta let others see exactly the project, materials ecc in brief the motto is: "That's my ultimate beast. Aesthetic is copyrighted AF. For the rest, good luck" 😂
    Bare Knuckle are also not so "common" and people simply don't speak much about their hardware because they really run sorta of true "oldschool" custom shop factory and they really make stuff that is different even in models that looks and are spec tech sorta "familiar" (see JB zebra style) but Bare knukle got their own cables, pot, even screw private and top notch furnitures (they love gold for pins and pots and is pretty common to find also in their wiring ceramic cables!!!). And so if you want something that really sound like something apart...get a look by yourself on their own website, I even can't help you suggesting some BK that will be killer for this guitar but i'm sure that once you will get to see something in their own shop you will get also easy all the info and samples (and more...) if it will happen that you will find there something that to you will look sick & cool.
    For bridge yes hipshot I think that's a badass choice and groover locking tuner. And also a Graph Tech Tusq nut or if you know a top liuther a customized Bone Nut is even better
    Have fun Mate! Thanks and see you for the next. And will be cool if you will keep sorta of mini-vlog if and when you start to customize this new little baby that will turn into a beast axe, for sure!

      Bro!!!! I want a mustang! I love fender. Literally, strats, tele’s and jags, I am wild over fenders. I had no idea BK had so much stuff, that’s damn cool for sure, I am not too tech savvy, so I can’t wire the guitar myself, maybe I should try learn, I’d save hundreds of dollars haha didn’t know you were from Italy?! So cool!

      Hey bro, both are great. You can’t go wrong with todays entry level. Only thing I’d recommend is stick with hard tail bridges for tuning stability!

    Mine will be here tomorrow. Gotta round some fret ends so I figured id get a nice cheap guitar to practice that on. Got it for $204us. It's one of the sexiest cheap guitars I've seen. I also wanna troll an ibanez group by pointing out how it plays as good as my genesis

    Hello! I want to buy this guitar to tune it to 'A' and play death metal. Do you think it's worth it? Should I buy another top guitar considering it is not my first guitar? Loses tuning? I've been thinking about the Ibanez RG 421 too but I want something cheap but decent. Thank you

    • @GuitarFromTheTomb
      @GuitarFromTheTomb  3 роки тому +2

      I wouldn’t buy this for drop a unless you are prepared to drop some locking tuners in and maybe upgrade the pickups. I would go for the 421 if you can already play well

    • @mike_rogs
      @mike_rogs 2 роки тому +1

      I have mine tune to drop a.
      I used eb mammoth slinkys and put gotoh locking tuner on. Works fine!
      I didn't change the pickups yet but I definitely will! Also can't decide what pickups....active or passive. One thing that I definitely have to change is the bridge or to be more precise the srews for the saddle hight (hipshot ibby6 or only m3 5mm screws)
