Thank-You for all your videos. Finally installed my Nrg short hub, nrg quick release 2.0 and Momo steering wheel. Very proud of myself bc im not a mechanic but got guts and skills to learn from your videos. Still waiting for the momo horn but pretty much already driving it since installed yesterday.
Getting better with every build. Keeping it on a budget has made the build really interesting. Can't wait to see what it does on the dyno.

Looks like a great build & Hope now 6 months later the car & Yourself are still going strong :D ,
Sadly im a subaru guy (99 GF8 WRX Wagon - Mostly stock at moment but looking to Upgrade to something similar to a TD05 16G or so on and only run 10-12psi but still make more power than stock TD04 @ 14.7psi factory boost level on the MY99/00 Wagons.)
I Say Sadly as im now on a Disability pension due to Spine Injury and Affording the Upkeep on a Old Subaru to keep it like new is not cheap, Lol many nights standing on the street corner in Fishnet stockings to rebuild this car slowly :D
Just to point something out tho:
The part with "If you want to run coolant" sounds as if its optional.
There is not really any choice the liquid cooling part is not optional.
I mean you can run it without coolant and then best have a turbo timer with a good 5 minute time limit and change oil twice as often as it will be coking the oil in return from the extra heat coolant normally pulls away which is a HUGE amount of its cooling, Also letting the car Idle a few mins between every hard pull.
Not to mention the hotter the turbo in general including the cold side housing Reduces power (can be by a large amount)
Obviously No BOV majorly Reduces the Turbo Life Span as every Chu chu chu is like hitting the compressor wheel with a rubber mullet with same PSI as the boost level,
But for the cost of the Turbo and if you like the sound i guess who cares (Given that modern turbos last anywhere from 350,000 - 500,000 KM Without rebuild, it should last atleast 50,000km without a BOV or BPV.)

How is the maxpeedingrods turbo holding up? I took a chance and ordered a KO4-001 for my daughter’s beetle, but they are so inexpensive I am a bit nervous. I hope they are a hidden jem for the price.
Hey man I bought a crv and when it cold it’s changing gears but when it get hot it stop changing gears do u know what it could be and the transmission oil I believe was never changed

Should of just did a catch can bung on the timing cover side of the valve cover and the other on the front close tirds motor mount before the dipstick instead of have to run lines around to the back of the cover above all the exhaust heat

how long did this run before the diaphragm in the wastegate fried from being so close to the hot side of the turbo lol? I know you said you made that manifold, but you should always keep parts with sensitive materials away from the heat of an exhaust. I would've at least done some heat wrap around all the piping and a turbo blanket. Not trying to be a troll. Just giving a heads up in case, you ever need to diagnose boost problems, failed components problems, or simple advice for the future.

Are you running the water lines with that turbo? Or you don’t need them? I know you can block them off but turbo won’t last.
You don’t need to run them nor block them. I’ve been running the same gt35 for over 4 years never had an issue

If it's journal bearing turbo, it's not that big of deal (but should still do it), but if its a dual ball bearing turbo you really NEED water lines !
