    I have the natural one left-handed, sounds great, plugged in or through my Peavey amp. I let a passerby try and play it even though he was a righty, which he couldn't, which was a big mistake cuz he was wearing a watch on his strumming hand and and he officially gave my spanking new guitar it's first scratch, moral of the story, a guitar is like a woman, you don't lone her out, to anybody not even for a second.

    I always love that fender sound so smooth and easy going also I gotta say I love the headstock on the guitar I feel for all fenders that should be there go to style for acoustics instead of the one that's on there strats and telecasters I feel them one's are strictly based for just electric guitars and I saw a acoustic with a stratecaster headstock on it and I just thought that doesn't look good

    I think I might get this guitar! My go-to guitar is the Seagull S6 Orignal which is amazing, but it has such a bright sound. I've been looking for something with a richer deep sound to it and I think this may be it!!! ALso, the price --- it's definitely one of the nicer cheap guitars I've heard

      I started 1,5 month ago. Went to a shop and ask for the cheapest but still good working acoustic guitar. The reasoning behind it was, if it didn't work out I wouldn't feel bad about purchasing one. And I'm glad I did, because I'm not careful with it at all. I carry it with me all day, and bump into stuff and even found out, the anti mosquito spray I use strips paint.... My guitar looks like it has been on the road for years 😂. After all this, I'm ready for the Fender CD-60SCE but I will threat It like a baby, and for all the casual moments/beach days I use my Valencia

    I tried one of these at the local guitar store in mahogany. I have to say, I thought it sounded better than anything sub 2000.00 bucks. I think it is really that good. Plenty of sustain, similar snap like the Taylor's of you dig in to it a little and held tune as I played it several times. I kept coming back to this. Martin's sounded muted and flat, and were not as lively. Taylor's were very colorful but starting point is 3 times the price. Breedlove was good but action too high. Bottom line, these guitars are good sounding, good playing and the solid tops will age and sound even better. Plus, you can always upgrade the nut and saddle if you wish affordably. Simply awesome mahogany guitar

      @@sotirzvanidjubre4109 I have a '72 Martin D-18 thst was handed down to me from my father. I'm 46-yrs-old and been playing for roughly 35 years. To date, that D-18 is the best sounding acoustic -- mic'd -- that I've ever played. As for this mediocre, low end Fender, its a shockingly well manufactured&Saagar's together guitar. Not sure I was just lucky and got my hands on a ringer, but it sounds amazing mic'd and with small strings which I tend to not use, but it sounds great on this thing. I don't like the pickup from the manufacturer, but I mic most of my gigs and all recordings anyways, so I didn't care about that crap pickup that fender installed.
      I've played everything under the sun, so unless we're taking about playing $2000-3000 like the guy in the response already mentioned, this little Fender is nice, especially for flatpicking solos.
      I'b play out w this thing and it's a great beginners guitar.

    should it be a problem if a plug this to my electro amp(black star id core10) or should i buy a acoustic amp for it

      You shouldn't have any problem. But you have to know that with an electric guitar amp you won't get the best sound out of her

    What's the difference between mahogany and fishman pickup?

    • @cobainspriest
      @cobainspriest 5 років тому +1

      Mahogany is wood type and Fishman is the electronic pickup system installed on the guitar so that you can plug it to the amplifier and play. Both things are different!

    New guitar buyer here. Never played before aside from messing around with friends guitars. Should i get a CD-60S or CD-60SCE?? 🤔

    • @delloda
      @delloda 3 роки тому +2

      The only difference is that the CD60S is a standard steel-string acoustic guitar but the CD60SCE is an electro-acoustic guitar so it can be plugged into an amp and It has a tuning tool built-in. The CD60S is cheaper than the CD60SCE by 100 euros approximately depending on the store.

    After watching this video I bought the Fender CD 60SCE guitar and it is a great guitar with a beautiful, warm sound. I recently broke the 1st E string and don't know what size strings were originally on the guitar or what size strings are best for this model of guitar for rock music. If anyone knows what size strings are on this guitar from the manufacturer I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the great videos and for any recommendations for the best size strings.

      Yamaha FX370c. I owned one at it has a terrific sound and excellent sustain for a $250 guitar. Only reason I got rid of it was to upgrade to an LL16. Yamaha makes way better acoustics than Fender, IMO. I have a Tele too, and I love Fender’s guitars, but Yamaha’s got em beat as far as acoustics.

      If you want to, check out Rodney Branigan. He’s an incredible guitar player and he uses mostly Yamahas.

    Hey bought the cd60s a few days ago but I noticed that it has some 'very little swellings' on top of the guitar at some 3 to 4 places I guess
    is that natural ?
    Was kinda worried about it
    Please help.

      Hello. Thanks for commenting in time. This means that your guitar has cancer, leukemia to be exact.

    I have the cd 60 natural electric from the series before. Sounds way better than this one's. Single cutaway so that's not new for this series either. It's still in my collection it's my first guitar. Played brilliantly so I gave it too my friend too use as he was learning. He loves it too. Fantastic guitar. I will take it back one day but now I use a gretsch New Yorker and Gibson j45.
