Wow what a small world we are. I'm actually privileged to be a member of his community. We know him from Hantzgroup, he is a very reputable art collector and his deals are attractive.
I've always thought of something by this with a specific song, 11 years! I can see it in my head, but nothing ever translates. It's exciting to see someone else bring something in my head to life!
So glad I found you, this is what I needed. I just burned from photography after trying so hard to make it a business, now I want an art form that is for me. I watch a few trying to teach a beginner, but you have the right idea. Just play. I love the music idea.😊
Not used watercolour for literally decades..last time was at college. Recently though I have been going to a local primary school for one hour each week to help a class of 8-9 year olds in their art lessons and we have recently been using watercolours there. It gave me a chance to have a nice old play about. The cheap rubbish supplies weren't ideal (Took my own brushes most of the time and also took a pack of paper samples i somehow acquired so the kids could all try better paper) but you learn to manage with what you have and make what you can of it. The kids think I am just there to help them but I am learning just as much as they are haha...
I love this! I actually have been doing the same thing, but I never thought to add music! I will do so soon and see what happens.😀 Another YT watercolor artist I follow suggested to paint patterns - ones that are repetitive and ones that are more freeform - and I have benefitted from that approach: it can actually look like a "finished" piece, even though I was just practicing brush control or water control. Thank you Louise!
I have been building up my art gallery but I don't know any art collector to sell them to. I would love for you to recommend someone to me.
Thanks.
There are lots of art collectors out there that can buy your artwork.
I could recommend one person
He has a large community of art buyers, he will buy up all your artworks and sell to his community members.
Mr nickyhall of Hantzgroup

This is wonderful - I learned this while learning to become an art therapy practitioner. It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey. 🎉
A thrill to find inspiration in "painting music!" Thank you for sharing you're acquired "lay back" style.

Balm painting! So nice. But I was very curious: what was your song?
I did this. It turned out pretty ugly, but it was fun to do, and no pressure. What a relief!
