@@garymazzeo3490, Mae West was anything that she wanted to be ! and although the movie eventually made is a MASTERPIECE , she would have added a special poignancy , and just think of her and Montgomery Clift and all those syllables !

If she had done it ...it could be the serious drama it was. Mae was not a dramatic actress
