How you can get 15 sample with just 73% of memory use, I have 32mb of ram but i'm working on a project with 5 short 20k drums samples and I use 73% of memory too it's so strange
Thanks again for doing S2000 Videos. This looks like something I'm going to use. BTW do you save everything onto the 3.5 disk? I'm thinking once I get going with the S2000 using the SCSI port to save all the samples to a ZIP disk. I know you have one just wondering if you do this as well.
newrorican yeah when i started i used floppy’s but I quickly realized I needed a zip drive. I Recommend getting a zip drive. You can hold so much more than just one zip disk. Try to get one for $60 or so on eBay. I would recommend the 100 mb cuz you can find a lot of used 100 mb disk.
Man, I never knew the S2000 could do 8-bit sampling. I knew it could do 22 kHz, but not 8-bit. I always slept it, but it looks like something I will have up pick up. To be honest, that sounds about as good as my EMAX.
just a heads-up, you're confusing sample-rate (in Hz/kHz) and -depth (in bits)..the s2000 is 16bit . But true, these go for like 20-50 quid and sound golden if you put in a little work.
@@georgeespley9177 started out the same way at roughly the same age, with an s1000 though..back then they were still affordable. If you're patient with yourself you will not have any regrets, that I can promise you!
Wow! Great vids. Ive had my akai for 6 months now. Still learning stuff everytime i put it on. Keep these coming!
i realize I am kind of randomly asking but does anyone know of a good site to watch newly released movies online?
great feature
for sure. the s2000 is sick.. all the editing functions are actually really quick and easy to navigate..

sample in mono and use resampling in reducing the bitrate :)

cool, thanks. I already have a zip drive. so it's good to know its works great with the 2000.
Good vid just picked one of these up.
