Thank you so much David, you should come visit again! My neighbourhood is indeed very village-like most of the time, that's why I prefer not living in Tel Aviv itself. Much has changed since 1995, but it was great back then as well.
I love the chain of events that occurred to put this watch on your wrist, including having a Swatch boutique that carries the Moonswatch nearby. A fun content idea might be to pick up the Pagani Design PD-1701 "Mission to Alaska," and then do a comparison video. It's 1/3 the price, has sapphire crystal and bezel insert, Seiko VK63 mechaquartz movement that can be serviced (i.e., replaced), etc.
@@disheuresdis No! This is the time to double down! You bought a 300 dollar watch, then a 200 dollar aftermarket strap for it so you are only 500 dollars down. Now it is time to impulsively also buy a 200 dollar watch box for it. Even at 700 dollars it's only a 1/3 the price of a real Speedmaster.
@disheuresdis We should have at least an e-mail chat about our idea! I enjoyed listening to you speak philosophically about investing in things and into people that we love. I share that philosophy. I have an old car, but I love it. I turned down a nice newer car because I'm so attached to her. I have kept up on mechanical maintainence, it has extremely low miles on it, and best of all, it's paid for! People are much the same way. I'm very extroverted, but mainly I invest into my friendships. It pays off in mutual happiness and allows for building trust, a rare and precious commodity in this unsavory world. When I was about 12-13, I had a Jewish friend who moved to Israel. She was a kind slightly older girl named Aviva. I wish to this day, that I could find her and tell her that out of all the people I've ever met over the decades, she made quite a significant impression on me. I was a naive country girl, but I was acutely aware that she and her family were seen as different in our community. I never understood it. She was kind, and I was very sad when her family left. I hope she has had a great life.
@@ruthanneseven Couldn't you find Aviva through Facebook? Or other social media sites? I hope you can find her soon. What idea are you talking about? Karaoke? Email me anytime Ruth: mafiozo@gmail.com - cheers, Dis
Man on the fucking Mars!!
Hahahahaah
Kol Ha Kavod. Love the look of your neighbourhood, particularly at 4.30am. So peaceful but real village feel. Miss Israel. Haven't been there since 95

Awesome watch Dis, great bang for buck.
Thanks my man.
Don't need to justify, it looks good and makes you happy is all that matters.👍
Not trying to justify, just giving my reasoning. Thanks my man.

That's a great idea! Maybe, maybe. I should stop with the purchases for a while. Thanks for the idea.

@@yurinator4411 Good point.
Think the MoonSwatch has been a genius move from Omega / Swatch.
I tend to think that too, yeah.,
Looking good, Dis! What is the name of the strap you are buying for it?
Thanks, it's Zealande.
@@disheuresdis Xlnt, sir
