Todd, what a life story you have!
I am so sorry for all the hardship you had to go through during your life so far.
I am praying that God will bless you and I know that He will help you to turn your life around and that He will bless you so that your latter will be greater than the former (Job 8:7)

Hey, thanks for your interview. It was amazing. Carnivore has literally changed my life in every way I went from 225. I’m now at 180 pounds I feel better than I did when I was a teenager. I have cerebral palsy and I’m non-ambulatory and with this way of eating is so easy to maintain my weight and I don’t fall to most Temptations anymore. Truly life-changing thanks again for your interview.

Listening to this and it makes me so sad. Can’t imagine what this man went through in his childhood, the physical and emotional struggles from carrying this insane weight on him. Damn big food and pharma, they slowly kill people and lie shamelessly…smh❤

When he mentioned his father's exposure to Agent Orange (and probably other chemicals in Vietnam), I'd like to mention that exposure to chemicals like that can affect the children and the grandchild with obesity and other health issues. I listened to a podcast about this generational problem.

Insulin is the primary fat storage promoting hormone. Glucose raises insulin. Starch is glucose.
    It is that simple.

Carbs without fibre ('refined carbs') in ultra processed food, also spike blood glucose, causing excess insulin and Fat storage .For example ,a 'smoothie' without the fibre of the fruit is equivalent to a soft drink ,in terms of blood sugar spike .

I busted out laughing when he said the doctor needs his head examined. He was so right, but remember, Doctors know how to treat a sign or symptom after they punch the data into their paid software program. If you are doing something that doesn't fit in their software program, they don't know what to do. lol

This comment is for you, Shawn. I've been watching your interviews for a long time. You just get better at it. I appreciate all the questions you ask, in a well paced, respectful manner. You do an excellent job of balancing the fine art of letting the guest speak, and keeping them on track. Your audio was an issue, back in your earlier interviews, but that's been ironed out for months. I look forward to every interview and share many of them. Keep up the excellent work! You're doing important work.

I did watch the movie The Whale this year. Powerful movie. Very hard to watch for me because my mom (RIP) was a mega obese person. I wanted to see that movie and it was haunting. Back in the day I couldn't bring myself to sit through What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Too triggering.

suggest adding melatonin for the edema. talking 200 pr 500 or 1000 or 1500 or more mg. My kid, nephrotic syndrome, takes 200mg at least at any eye edema.
and sodium abscorbate to repair the vascular damage. big ol boy probably needs 20 to 60 grams a day, DIVIDED doses. my vacks sceene injured kid, that kidney failure, takes 5 to 30 grams always everyday.

We never had sodas growing up, we ate rice beef, chicken, fish, always a side of vegetables or salad. Nobody told me sodas were bad I just thought they weren't good. How is that Americans are so ignorant about food? When I came here to the states 23 years ago I was in shock at how people eat here I thought those big people and big plates were for the movies and they were not real!! When I went to supermarket first time I was in shock again all those pastries, cakes, cookies, donuts were greeting people at the door!! Thousands of them... when I tasted some of them they were soooo sweet I never tried them again! Everything here has three or four times more sugar than needed. And those macaron and cheese boxes...What would happened if supermarkets were banned of selling anything that has wheat, corn syrup, sugar, corn, rice, oatmeal in it??? ooh! The whole food industry would be destroyed!! People those are not Food they are products , items from factories. Food is what nature has given us for millennia. Have you seen carton boxes and plastic jars coming out from trees? That's common sense!! Now everyone needs to know if you wanna be healthy you have to cook your meals but another shock for me was to find out Americans don't cook they just eat take outs...

Last May my doctor did a blood test on me, bad time at work. And she firstly said my red blood cell count and structure (etc) is fantastic! She couldn't believe how amazing my blood looked in regards to iron etc. She then asked me what supplement am I taking and I said I don't, I eat red meat everyday. Oh well, she then checked my cholesterol and bam, slightly elevated 0.02 above the high range, I got a 15min lecture on heart disease and then told me that "they" recommend I only eat meat once a week! I refused to follow that crappy advise, I have fallen off the wagon lately but I always eat meat and have always been better off for it.
