Heck - yeah: nutrition is important. I struggle every day as I serve individuals as a physical therapist. Across the board- most people don't understand the depth of which putting "foods" down their throats has a powerful impact on their health. They don't get it... dare I say most don't want to get it

@@alisonjohnson6710 in reference to the reaction of shrimp, your body may be reacting to the iodine. The radioactive iodine pill could have put your body on defense when it encounters it again. NAET treatments can help resolve it. Also curious if you picked up parasites from living abroad.

had been carnivore and keto 3 years and lost 28 kg and depression gone and severe back pain gone and inflammation gone, my eye sight imporved from minus 2,25 to minus 0,5...felt amazing.. and then 6 months ago i started to eat sugar and cinnamon buns and my sugar addiction has spiral over 6 months and made my life very difficult again.felt moody and up and down in my feelings and my weight start creeping on again..and suddenly its been more then 6 months now and i started strict carnivore again and already after 2 weeks now i started eating less and less carbs ans sugar and for 6 days now my menopause symthoms are gone with sweating and high blood pressure and i added bcomplex and magnesium and dvitamin and cvitamin to boost my carnivore portal and now this morning i ate lamb, bacon and cheddar cheese and coffee and fat cream and i feel so stable and strong and my metabolism feel already stronger and i go to the bath room regular and i will cut out dairy next and start...sorry for long text....stay carnivore and change your life...lovly video and strong lady!! Thanks Dr Shawn Baker, all the best from Sweden Jenny..( sugar is addictive. so it can suddenly relapse if you been addicted to sugar no matter how strong you are...even after 3 years it did for me...so its life long)

I'm sitting outside a McDonald's/Gas Station for about 2 hrs & I've calculated 75% of the people going in & out are either severely obese or morbidly obese ..very concerning because 10% of them can barely walk or get in & out of their vehicles.
The 10% are obviously suffering greatly & in extreme pain!! ❤

Alison, I relate to your regrets of not knowing about this sooner. My brother's death made me look at my own mortality. Im 63, mostly carnivore x11 months, many improvments in gerd, htn, joint pain, mood etc. I had shingles in my left eye and ended up with cornea transplant, I know that severe eye/face pain you spoke about. I appreciate your passion. Mostly I relate to you saying "Food Freedom" cuz that's how I feel. ❤

Such a good interview. I totally feel this. It was the death of my mama who was my motivation. It's been 17 days. I'm in my mid-40's also. Digestion and sleep quality are what I gave noticed so far. I have stage 4 hoshimito's and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and a list of other diagnosis' a mile long.
Is there a video recommendation I might share with my dad? He's in his 70's, living with prostate cancer with surgery about 15 years ago, depression and gastrointestinal issues they blame on allergies, agent orange exposure. He says he's Mr oblivious and something struggles with too much information. But in the last few months while mama was dying he put on at least 20 lbs.

@@alisonjohnson6710 I will still look through Dr. Berry's for one's that he'd be curious enough to start watching.. I was thinking Dr Baker because my dad would relate to the military background as a Vietnam veteran. I'm listening to one from a few days ago about sleep. So far it might be just right. My sister told me he recently ordered melatonin. So he's having sleep issues. I've already talked to him about melatonin supplements increase cortisol levels also.

I don't think it's his mic. He's always been hard to understand for me. His voice is gravelly plus he tends to mumble. I've had to click off of his videos before, frustrated at not being able to understand what he was saying. I mentioned it in one of his videos, but my comment got no response. BTW, I don't have hearing loss.
