- Paul Buitink interviews David Rogers Webb, former hedge fund manager of Varus and author of “The Great Taking”. David states in his book that there is a global elite implementing a system to take everything from everyone. David emphasizes that this agenda is particularly evident in the realm of property rights concerning securities. According to him, a closer examination of the terms and conditions, such as those of a bank or stockbroker, reveals that individuals are not the rightful owners of their securities.
Paul asks David about the motivations driving these “elites” and when they will execute the great taking? Paul thinks that the people will revolt when everything will be taken from them and asks David to reflect on that. And finally, what can be done to stop the great taking.

Actually gold is a “tier 1 asset” according to the BIS, that extends to every central bank in the world. Most central banks have been accumulating gold, so it is NOT a parallel money, it IS money. They will want complete control of real money, but they wont be able to stop gold and silver from being a medium of exchange between parties, especially at the local level.

The state, under English law has the power to resume this coinage, which is popular as it is capital gains tax exempt. Bullion is subject to CGT here.

If you aren't invested in any of these man made images of wealth I don't see a need to be concerned about the collapse of these institutions. The fact that the government can evict you from a bought and paid for house because you cannot afford the property taxes is where I see a problem.
100% no one realizes that they CANT actually own their house. If the gov can take it away even if there is no mortgage, then you never really owned it! Physical gold and silver is the only way to store your labor in a secure fashion.
The fact is, the local taxing authorities operate illegally! They do not file their supposed liens anywhere. So it makes them void on their face. They are created in your local governments accounting office and filed in their files. Then they set about to advertise in the local paper to meet the UCC guidelines to establish a valid debt, that if is not confronted, will become the basis for the government to take the property. When I confronted them, put a spotlight on their "theft by taking" which is a felony, and threatened to sue them, they backed down and the so-called debt disappeared.

I have had many meetings with the people that represent the assessors office and they explain it this way:
"They collect taxes to cover the expenses that are accrued from the previous years budget for the municipalities, agencies and the cost of running the government."
Problem is, when they are pulling money from people that they don't work for it, they are less than fiscally responsibility. The cycle is near the end, the government has become beyond inefficient and that's when authoritarian tyranny in the government rears it's specter.
Term limits for ALL government employees. Get a paycheck from taxpayers money for 4 or 6 years, contribute your ideas to society, then get back into the economic producing pool. Government employment shouldn't be a career with a pension. Unfornately it has become the welfare state with guarenteed benefits.

Best interview with Webb yet, and I've seen literally everything, great job! However, one point though, is that you seem to have missed the true scope of this. It is not "just" stocks and bonds. This is about ALL collateral, including cash on the bank, but also anything on debt. Anything that you are not fully owner of, i.e. unpaid mortgages, or anything that has any counterparty risk such as vaulted gold. Everybody will lose their half paid house in the taking. Companies with debt will fall into the secured creditors' hands too. All pensions will disappear. It is scary but real. Webb's advice at the end is very real and pertinent. Get out of the system, and become real owner of real things. God bless.

Mr Webb deserves the highest regard. His insights are remarkable.
His insights are very old hat. "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" stuff, total BS.
He claims:
*The Fed is a private bank. (Nope --- the Fed is owned by its member banks, which are publicly traded corporations, and its board chairman is appointed by the government.)
*The Fed profits by collecting interest on Treasury debt that it purchases with money it prints. (Nope --- it remits 94% of profits to the Treasury, every week, and pays a 6% dividend to its member-banks.)
*In 1933, FDR "confiscated" the public's gold. (Nope --- it was purchased.)
*"Confiscation" was designed to impoverish the public holders. (Nope --- the idea was to create currency in exchange for the gold, to fight the Depression by putting spendable money in people's pockets. Deflation/depression is countered by inflation, which is stoked by demand for goods. No spending money, no demand.)

Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 was repealed Nov 12, 1999 during the Clinton administration. I recall watching the hearings on affordable housing when the financial institutions were not willing to budge on the issue until it was like a switch was thrown and all of a sudden they were totally on board. It was at that point that Glass-Steagall was put on the chopping block. This is what paved the way for what we now suffer.

If anything was taught to the public in the US during the great depression, its that money, gold, or anything else of monitary value is not what makes our society work. It basically comes from the struggle of the people willing to try to make their lives better. This is the hope of the people. We may have to trade of products and labor on a local level, but we will overcome these oppressive governments even if we have to grow our own food on barges in the oceans of the earth. We would struggle at it, but eventually we will learn to harness wind, waves, and storms if necessary. But without us, governments wont be able to sustain their ignorant game of domination. It comes down to the fact that there are many more of us than there are of them. Together, the nations of the world know they cant completely control us. They do this on about an 80 to 100 year cycle. Theyre testing the willingness of people on a constant battle for domination. But they have decieved themselves. Armies dont fight their own. And in the end, the governments wont be able to get personel to do their bidding if they persist in this ignorant game of theirs. The people will subvert them. Its already happening in a small degree now. Just look at the farmers riots in Europe. The way I see it is that they can continue their ignorant games of domination and sink deeper into an overall distrust of them, or they can restore the freedom they have taken. Either way, people are fed up with their governments all across the globe. In light of the rebellion of the farmers rebellion in Europe, Id say that the WEF might as well close their doors. If they dont, people will begin to target its members. These radical people rioting for their "woke" movement have no hesitation toward coming after them. The government has coddled these people to the point that they have become bold. All I could say about that is "Good luck with that" to the governments. I dont see it going much farther. But the idea that people will continue to follow without question has already hit the mainstream of "sleeping giant" and that giant is beginning to awaken. Soon, the deception will reveal itself and many major riots will become the normal for a while. Of course, the so called elites will either try to appease the masses or drive the masses away from them. Either way, the trust factor will already be gone. The billionares will have to go into hiding like they always do. But this time might be different. There are much less places for them to hide now. Already, these billionares are selling everything they have in the stock market in the US. You can bet they have a plan for this scenario. In California we have the ability to get a land patent, which enables us to truly own our land and even not have to pay property taxes anymore. Does anyone know how this interfaces with what Webb is talking about in the great taking? Like, are there statutes written somewhere that would even override California land patents?
On another note, after listening to his book, I am reminded of the level of evil and greed in this world, it is just staggering…..

Third generation California realtor here and I've never heard of a land patent that's equivalent to ownership without taxes

I imagine even if you own your home without a mortgage , " THEY" will cause a situation where you loose your home to "taxes". Owning personal or private property will be "selfish", not fair and maybe even illegal.
If you own US real estate, best to have it mortgaged to the hilt. Cash out refi whenever possible, proceeds into Bitcoin.

I think it will be the climate scam - lots of unnecessary upgrades to your house to reduce carbon footprint that noone can afford. In the UK we have an Energy Performance Certificate scheme which is the biggest load of BS ever. I don't know how people can get out of bed in the morning and go and grade people's homes as a 'real job'. The inconsistency of the gradings, ignoring basic things like upgrading your double glazing - it's all about solar panels, heat pumps and external cladding 😮

In the US they have a couple of methods they could take your property (and probably more). Eminent domain just means that the government wants your land and will take it for their use and 2 they can raise your property taxes to the point you can't afford to pay and take it for not paying your taxes. These are things that would be hard to fight so, pray that things don't get crazy and maybe don't move to NY
We just have to find a loop hole not to pay property taxes in the USA, there is one for sure and many people are using it. Of course its hidden deep for no one to see, but those who dig will find it. I know Alaska doesn't have property taxes everywhere. They have it in the major cities, but not for the country places.
you vote for mileage rates for where you live. you literally have direct control over that process. eminent domain pays you a fair market value for the property. please learn more.

@@Vip89_B local communities literally vote through a democratic process for any changes in mileage rates. this rate determines your property taxes owed. property taxes owed are based of the sale price of your home + any improvements / 2 then multiplied by the rate. $500k home w/ a $25/k mileage rate = 500/2 * 25 = $6,250. This is how it works in the US and probably most other modern countries. If you don't want to increase a mileage change, don't vote for it and hopefully all of your neighbors will follow suit. Eminent domain is a huge process that has many ways to A) approve the proposed plan that would take the home, B) numerous levels of checks and legal objections, C) plenty of time to find a new place, and D) you're paid for the fair market value of property that is taken. So you always have some level of say in the process and you always get reimbursed. You could also just easily google these things and read any number of articles that will go into more detail than a YT chat box.

Easy to say but not as easy to implement. Since although the people could stand up together, it would be of little utility, since the people are clueless as to what they would have to do next. What is required first is leadership. What is required are attorneys & those knowledgeable with how the government operates and exactly what is going on & how we got here, and then dealt with legally. Unfortunately, there are no checks & balances in our government, only controlled opposition - that is how we got into this mess in the first place. Additionally, the media didn't do their due diligence, because they are in cahoots with the government. It’s them against us. We need a leader to step forward to give direction.

Divide & conquer is a powerful commie tactic which is at play here. They have divided us in many ways, not only setting us up against each other, but also dividing us in a different way… by not allowing us to communicate with each other via censorship especially on the various social media platforms. Watching this video was beyond depressing because David doesn’t give us REAL solutions the individual person can implement OTHER THAN keeping a well-stocked pantry and producing some of your own food. That's good advice anytime but doesn't prepare us for the catastrophe he envisions.
There is something you can do. STOP the fear in you! Not by suppressing it, but by UNDERSTANDING how it is created IN YOU. Just to make sure you know, PERCEIVING without judgment (any thought operating) ends it. Watch yourself all the time (thoughts/feelings). Learn WHO you are, and how you operate within. TAKE control of your own being. In time your life will change. Intuition will be your guide. There is nothing better... All the best.
No worries. History told us that we always find ways to bypass the hurdles. I doubt people will work for this kind of money or assets for long. And only cities need money for goods and services, because cities don't produce essentials, they import. Villages alway been more self sufficient, but cities give the image of convinence that why we are lured to live in cities. But we really are happier when there is a balance between nature and technology. This period of transition will be really painful but we will grow wiser.

I suppose there are a few things to do. Get out of debt. Get out of bonds and stocks. Keep cash. Accumulate precious metals and store it in a safe place (not a bank.. ). Store food and water for a couple of weeks. Try to get a second citizenship in another country (advice from Doug Casey). I am thinking about a country in the Far East (Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos ..) where there is a lot of traditional life (and farming). How many years do we have left before the system collapses as we need time to prepare?
