The dog tongue on Maxx force is actually my favorite inversion on any coaster because it gives you crazy hangtime while you're way up 175 ft in the air. Plus, the pullup and pullout of it is unnaturally tight
nobody: The Coaster industry: *having 6 different names for a roll that doesn't go the full 360 degrees, instead stalling out after 270 degrees and going back*
Dragon Mountain was the first roller coaster I went on with an inversion. I wasn't even aware of the first two normal inversions at the start right after you reach the top, caught me off guard after I'd psyched myself up for the bowtie loop at the end. Certainly enjoyed it though, went on it another half dozen times due to the fact the line was so short it was a walk on.
Very interesting. Drachen Fire's corkscrew dive inversion is still my all time favorite. I will never forget that one. Thanks for posting this. Have a nice day now.
Awesome video and great list of all of the unique inversions that you talked about, the Lagoon Roll on Cannibal at Lagoon is my favorite it catches me by surprise every time I ride Cannibal, I also like the Top Gun Stall on Twisted Colossus great video once again!!!
Cannibal's Lagoon Roll over the rockwork and pond is one of the best elements in the park! When it's actually full with water, some people try to see if they can touch it while going through the roll. I knew it was going to be on here, but pleasant to see it so high!
The Only Inversions I know on a Roller Coaster is the “Loop De loop”, “Cobra Roll”, “Zero G-Roll”, “Cobra Snake Dive”, “Lagoon Roll”, “Upside Down Top Hat”, and “Vertical Loop”! By the way, thanks for making this Video Chris! 😊👍 You make awesome content! Keep up the great work! 👍
Although its' on 3 coasters because they are basically clones of each other, the Raven Turn is a very unique inversion. Definitely more unique than some of the "One of a kind" inversions which have very similar inversions with slight variations.
8:30 I rode this coaster, the Hangtime in the upside-down track is insane, you get a solid 7 seconds of it. It has more Hangtime on this one piece of track that Hangtime has on the entire ride. The loop an Half Loop leading into and out of the Scorpion tail is also really forceful, but also very jerky.
I’m curious about this Mosasaurus Roll on Velocicoaster. Everyone who’s ridden it says it slaps but in the pov it looks like a normal heart line roll to me. The dog tongue is an interesting one as well, I would predict it feels like Steel Curtains banana roll.
Rode it twice, that last Mosasaurus roll seriously feels like you’re falling out of your seat into the water. One of my favorite endings to a ride ever.
It could've been, but WCR rips through the element too quick. It doesn't stall; it instantly turns you back, like on Wicked Cyclone, which I also don't consider a stall.
I rode Cobra in Conny Land 3 weeks ago and was very positively surprised. The roller coaster is pretty intense (up to 5.5 g) and a lot of fun. There is a reason why PAX is called Crazy Iwan. You are already fully in the seatbelts at the lift. Because of the steepness, the descent is very intense with good acceleration. Then there are two very nice airtime hills followed by the loop and the scorpion tail. The loop is quite tight and intense on the way to the scorpion tail. On the way back you are slower so that you have good hangtime. Of course, the scorpion tail itself also provides good hangtime. It is highly recommended to ride the roller coaster both forwards and backwards, as both feel different. In general, Conny Land is highly recommended. Although the park is only small, it offers some unusual attractions that families in particular can have a lot of fun with.
I know RCDB doesn't consider this one of a kind, but Steel Vengeance's 2nd inversion is pretty unique. It's like the zero-g stall on Wicked Cyclone, but you are descending throughout the element, kind of like how Storm Runner's flying snake dive is similar to a zero-g roll, except you are dropping while taking the element. So, I feel like this should have gotten an honorable mention or something but that's just me. I love this unique video idea though! Great job 👍
Going to Cedar Point Friday I'm hype asf Edit: in case someone cares this was my day. Side note Valravn broke twice and so while waiting I became the coolest person in line for about ten minutes.
I’m excited for Storm Runner since it’s the closest coaster to me with a weird layout. I would’ve been able to ride it last year if things didn’t go south.
Cobra is actually an awesome coaster haha. The lift is so scary and unique it’s crazy. Then the loop on hot days has 5-6gs, and the scorpion tail is also so much fun.
It's so sad that storm runners line over the past few 3 years has almost been a walk on. But it makes me happy because I love it. I remember when it was a rollercoaster tycoon 3 competition coaster.

Otherwise I feel it would have been a great addition to the list. I myself am not aware of an existing coaster element quite like that one.

The exit is smaller than the entrance, making for an incredibly intense inversion, especially since it's over the lake.
Hi Chris! I know you love to know everything about the parks, so I got some info! I went to Kings Dominion on Sunday, and while I was in line for Dominator, I noticed a blocked off part of the parking lot, and inside of it was parts for an S&S freespin, green track and brown supports.
