    I am also a caregiver of a 94-yr old lady. But I have been a caregiver since 2008. Dee, you are very blessed to be able to take care of your mom. I left my mom behind in the Philippines and hoping that one day I will be able to get her so I can take care of her in her old age. Thank you for sharing your detailed routine and your story. I hope you and your mom are happy.❤❤❤🙏

    YOU are such an amazing woman Dee!!!! May God bless you many times for all the love and care you show your Mom. She is so sweet and love the crown ring for Queen G!! I don't know if I could do all that you do and still be as sweet, caring and wonderful a person as you are. The videos are wonderful and open your eye for those of us who are not caregivers. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Take care...................xo

    Thank you beautiful Dee for sharing this with us, I am too a full time caregiver for my Dad (Dementia) since many years now and lately my sister (Autistic). It's a really unique Journey . I'm happy I found your videos, you are wonderful. I recognise some of my routine in yours and its nice to see we are not alone. I want to learn to take care of myself as I do for them. A process but it's really important !!!! I love your energy, keep doing you, taking care of your spirit, body and soul and be the wonderful daughter you are to your mom and certainly the great humanbeing you are . Love ❤️🙏

      Yes, we three work well as a team. I am very lucky to have a generous and caring husband as Jay. Him and my mom have such a cute strong bond. She is seriously lucky. But, so are we!

    Hey thanks for sharing. Not sure if you remember me but my mom came home on January 1st and I’m her caregiver she’s improving everyday I think the hardest part is managing her and my two young kids. But it’s so worth it to see how far she’s come.

      I do remember you and your message!!! I am so happy to hear she is doing great! Trying to find balance is very difficult in the beginning. It took me about 3 years to finally feel I got a balance in my life again. Once I found my own groove, and didn't sweat the small stuff it seemed a bit better in time. I'm so proud of you!!

      Deelovelylife yeah haven’t found a balance yet 🙏🏼 but so thankful she’s home. Love your videos! Ant tips or advice on how to deal with speaking frustrations? My mom understands what’s going on but sometimes has a hard time saying certain words.

    Wow....you did such an amazing job....felt like I was doing video myself....lol.....you wear many hats so beautifully.....so, so proud of all you do. I know, for certain, that you are giving so much love and encouragement to others through your channel......thank you. My daughter and son have plans to begin a channel of their own soon. It will be 25 years in July and she believes that we have so much to share with everyone.....I will let you know if and when it is up and running...xoxoxooxox

      I really hope I give encouragement to others! It's the most challenging and difficult job to do. I'm trying my best to make it the most I can. We are the ones who truly get each other in this crazy journey. Hugs to you!

      Thanks Andrea!! I need to make some time today and catch up on your channel. My mom and I were watching it last week. My mom agrees with me that your daughter looks so much like myself at her age. Chubby cheeks! That was totally me, and still me lol.

    your mother is blessed to have you. my sister thinks any resudals i have from my stroke is because i put it out into the universe. it's ver difficult.

    • @DeeLovelyLife
      @DeeLovelyLife  4 роки тому

      I'm not sure if I agree with her. There's so many different contributes to having a stroke. Some unfortunately without symptoms or signs. 1 month old to 100 yrs old. All so unpredictable with all the stories I hear. I hope you are doing well in your recovery! Never give up!

    Hi Dee, Im not a carer no more, my fella went all strange, he moaned if he could here any of my appliances on while he was sleeping, bear in mind he slept all night, woke up at 9.00 had breakfast, went back to sleep until 1 or 2 in the afternoon, I have 4 kids at home so I have a lot of laundry, then I have housework, I never vacuumed while he was asleep, then also my Mum and sister had both passed away within a few months of each other, Dave my fella said he was fed up of me crying and looking sad, then one day out of the blue he got up and said his daughter was coming to fetch him as he had decided to move out, she kept him 2 days and put him in a home ! I love how you are with your Mum she is a lovely lady. xx

      Oh no Yvonne, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you realized no matter what took place, your heart was in the right place. What you had done for him was so amazing. I hope one day he will realize it. Sounds like you remain busy! I hope you found some much needed rest my friend!

      Yvonne you are not alone. It’s hard we had to put my mom in nursing home she was becoming to hard to take care of and it’s ok. She has Alzheimer’s. Then my sister passed away 2 yrs ago and now we had to put my dad in a nursing home, he gave up trying and his health declined, he is actually happier in the nursing home. We all do the best we can. We did the best we could for them. 💜😘👍🌸

      Im afraid hes left me in a bad way, Foe 8 of the 10 years I was with him and before he became disabled he wouldnt let me go anywhere alone, then when he became disabled of course I couldnt leave him. Now I am having to have councilling as I go into a major panic attack if I have to go out of my village, I am suffering depression and anxiety, its awful. Yet I am supposed to go look for work which I havent done in years because of having children etc. I am in a bit of a state but hopefully I will get well soon. x

    My husband had a stroke 2 years ago, and I’m his caregiver. He is paralyzed on the right side. I’m 24hr. caregiver. I get up twice during the night. He uses a urial. I take time to myself when he’s sleeping.

      Do you find it getting easier to go right back to sleep after those couple of times getting up for him during the night? I'm finally getting a better habit to fall right back asleep each time. It took awhile, but it's getting easier, or maybe I'm just exhausted by now lol. Not sure.

    Great video Dee! I did the same things while caring for my mom, & used some of the same products. Caregiving is a very rewarding but very exhausting, much needed job we can do for our family and loved ones. Queen G is so cute with the card, her laughter is contagious! 😁 Thank you for sharing a glimpse of your day with us. Be blessed! 😊💕

    I takes a certain individual to be a caregiver, you are amazing, how lucky your mom is to have you. It’s a lot of work! I don’t or didn’t even take care of my parents daily and even that’s very stressful. You are an amazing woman! What’s sad is the CNA’s in nursing homes mostly take care of the patients but the only get paid only $10hr or $12hr around here, very sad. 🌸💜😘👍

    • @DeeLovelyLife
      @DeeLovelyLife  4 роки тому

      Thanks Michelle! It is a lot of hard work. I believe CNA's here depending on what and where they work ranges from $16 to $25 per hour. But this is in California.
