Thanks Diana for sharing your beautiful life with us. I have visited your home Country of Georgia many times and have been hosted by some fantastic people. Keep safe and take care on your travels. Have a ‘wee’ cup of coffee on me, as they say here back in Ireland. Coby x
You have an amazingly upbeat attitude. Taking care of an old person so debilitated is not for the faint of heart. It is very tough mentally. I wish you only good things in the future. Especially with your travels.
Your amazing and Viola is so lucky to have you. I care for my 96 year old mother who has mild to medium dementia. You are so good with Viola. My daughters are great with my mum just like you.
Carol, I’m so sorry you have to go through that. On the other hand caring for someone with dementia can be very much connecting and emotionally deep, don’t you think? Depends on people and the dementia stage but I really felt like an honor caring for Violeta
I enjoyed the feeling in this video, the calmness of the area you live in, the love you share with this woman, the foods you make, everything took me there for a moment, thanks
Laundry kissed by the sun is the best! I love doing it... even in the Winter. Having done this myself and knowing how challenging it can be...I am heartened by the energy and joy you bring to caring for Viola. Also, WOW a film camera! Adventure on, Diana and Cheers!
I loved these 2 videos of you & Viola! Two were simply not enough 💕 I hope you stay in touch with her family & keep us updated on her. She is precious. You did a beautiful job at caring for her & putting together these videos of your time together. The photographs you took of her are so thoughtful & touching! Thank you for warming our hearts 🥰 I will be binging your PR vids next... my motherland 🇵🇷💖
I was walking my senior residents at the park. There are bunch of karens doing workout at park. Was simply doing my job as a caregiver. One of my resident have been forgetting how to walk and where go. I was simply telling my resident. Go straight and go this way in form of guidance. Resident used to walk behind me. I used to walk front to guide. So used to follow me. However as time passes Resident really doesn't know where to go, lost few times , went to the wrong house, tripped couple of time. Regardless of situation we try to keep resident in good shape , live healthy life. One of the Karen was saying that me as caregiver being mean or doesn't know how guide residents. I'm not sure how else to guide my resident except telling to go which direction. (For the record never push resident or yell, forced resident to walk) If you don't have experience of taking of your parents or eldery person who suffering dementia , PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE It is difficult situation for person who are suffering from this condition and as well as challenging situation for the caregivers .
@@dianawanderlust as of today I still do. Thank you for sharing your video. I wish more people should be aware that caregiving job is not easy. People should give some respect and understanding to caregiver. Not many p3ople willing to job we do.

@@dianawanderlust When you see that your body changes due to aging. When you have been showing up to the job that you do not like for the last 10 years. When you after retirement will be 70 years old, and your body is not as pretty as it used to be, not as flexible as it used to be. I described why age between 20 and 30 is the best age. Age from 70 to 90 is not the best. After 90 is really sucks!

You need to be the lady of the house, not a caregiver
Very informative. You don't seem to spend time with the lady. It is all about you. Very sad.
