    (Rug Tufting ASMR) No sounds other than hand tufitng a Mario rug from beginning to end.
    One of my more colorful rugs that I created from inspiration of the new Mario movie that came out. This rug ended up being 4ft x 2ft (48in x 24in). I for sure know that I need some work on cleaning the lines up a little more but all in all I’m very happy with the way it turned out! If you have any feedback leave them in the comments! Who should I rug tuft next?

    • @werugtuft

      So yes in a way they can but not through a washer and dryer, you might ruin the machines themselves. It's best to hand clean them using a steam cleaning process or with some dish soap and a cloth. Best to do some sort of steam cleaning though. Another alternative is using a BISSELL with a wet hand vac that sprays water/cleaner and suck it up. Hope this helps!

      They can definitely sell if you do the right exposure methods, but I would recommend getting into it with the mindset of enjoying it for the art style and not to sell. As for the time frame this project took about 6 hours more or less. And price for this one is $250

    Amazing work 💚✨ what happens to the fabric once you cut out one design, tho'? Cause i saw more rugs on the making there like, can you still work on the other stuff or do you have to cut everything at the same time?

    • @werugtuft
      @werugtuft  11 місяців тому +5

      Tysm! :) and a Fantastic question - typically its best to finish and glue them all at the same time because you need tension on the fabric being held by the frame to be able to tuft the other images. So in short you wouldnt be able to work on the other ones unless you have some sort of interchangeable wood piece in the middle of those pieces that holds that tension for you. Hopefully this makes sense

    Idk why people don't just reverse the image and and stand on the opposite side while making the stencil with the projector then u don't have to stand off to the side while tracing ,yea?

    • @werugtuft
      @werugtuft  11 місяців тому +3

      You'd be correct in saying that and I respect the thought process but i've tried something similar to your idea in the past and it's nearly impossible to see the stencil through the cloth. It could also be due to the fabric I am using but it never worked for me, so I've found this to be the ideal route when when tracing the image - hope that makes sense

    • @werugtuft
      @werugtuft  11 місяців тому +4

      Yes you sure do, and if you have the image downloaded on your iPhone or computer there is an invert feature when you open the image in either location and you can just flip it horizontally in there and then you'll trace it from there! Hope that helps !

    • @werugtuft
      @werugtuft  Рік тому +5

      Thank you so much! This one ended up being 4ft x 2ft (48in x 24in) and pricing wise it really depends on how long its taking you, how long you've been tufting (as your price will most likely increase over time) how many colors of yarn you're using and how detailed the image you're tufting is! But for something like this we'd say $250 is a fair price

      Great question and we had the same thoughts over here and this Reddit thread seems to summarize it pretty well. But this isn't legal advice, so if you do plan to do this it might be best to reach out to a lawyer. www.reddit.com/r/Tufting/comments/pui1hn/how_does_it_work_with_selling_rugs_and_copyright/ - " The real scoop is, unless you become famous for it, or try to sell it on a popular market (etsy, redbubble etc) probably no one's going to bother you."
