You prolly dont care but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account??
I was dumb lost my account password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Elisha Pablo instablaster =)
@Jameson Dexter I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now.
Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Jameson Dexter it did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much you really help me out :D
I had to watch the video in 2X to bring it up to regular speed!
I know the vid is super old....but THANKS FOR THE IDEA! You rock...come see us in TEXAS!
Wow great job. Looks fantastic
excellent job!! keep up the good work. looks way better than the BLO procedure
This worked pretty good.
Nothing a little tlc won't fix it's amazing how some people just let their equipment go I take care of all my stuff good work looks like brand new
It looks pretty good. I have a few ideas to give it a newer look.
Great job buddy !!!!!!!!!!!!!
when using that eraser wheel, did you have your drill on the hammer setting or something? seemed awfully loud brah!
Great video! Thank you, very well layed out.
WOW. Huge difference. Now to borrow my dads buffer to redo my Prairie! Looks like your black lab approved of the work.
+Candiece Barnthouse Cody approved the work. Just be careful with the buffer. Don't stay in one place too long or you will burn the plastic.
Helluva job 👏🏽
You should be able to do this to any plastic or painted surface.
Looks good
Great job! Looks fantastic! I’ve got a Kawasaki Teryx 4. Plastic looks bad. Think this will do the trick. Thanks, best polishing video I’ve seen on UA-cam. Was the two McGuires products all you used?
All I used was the two.
Good deal! I have a rotary as well!
Be careful. You can do some damage if not careful.
I think I got it at CARQUEST but any auto parts store should be able to get them. Probably easier to get them online. A lot of people don't even know what they are.
I'am Your Newest Subscriber Great Videos
My 2007 Honda Rancher ATV Plastic Is Faded I Wish You Could Buff It.
Every time I touched my Griots Dual Action polisher on my Rhino Plastic it faded the plastic out. Your's looks great! I just can't figure out this plastic!
The buffer I am using is not a dual action. It is a real buffer. Dual action polisher will not cut enough to buff out the plastic.
Thanks for the VID. Well done.
Thanks
There is a small diameter vent hose under the hood on the right hand side by the radiator cap of my Series 10 Ranger. What should this be attached to?? No info. Thanks!
I will try to look today but it sounds like the overflow tube for the radiator.
I got the same one but with windows
nice
Thanks
Before the machine glaze what meguiars product did you use? #2?
Wheeling Wheels Films I showed everything I did. I didn't skip any steps. I miss that Ranger.
mossman381 I have watched this several times. I have a ranger also and I'm looking to do the same. I too didn't see you use #2 Fine Cut Cleaner. So I assume you went from Meguiars #1 Med Cut Cleaner, straight to Meguiars #3 Machine Glaze. Also, how much pressure did you apply? I know the key is to not generate too much heat to distort the material.
Sdupont4LSU Yes I skipped to the machine glaze. If you want to do the fine cut you can. I just wanted this ranger to look better. It's not a show piece. You don't want to put much pressure on the buffer. You pretty much let the buffer do the work.
mossman381 Really appreciate it. I'm not looking for a showroom finish, just clean it up and see if I can remove some fine scratches. Thanks a lot.
How has this held up? Has it faded back?
When I sold it, it looked fine. Should last forever if you keep it waxed.
Where do I find those eraser wheels? Been looking forever

Looks amazing mossman381. Do you remember if you used a coarse buffing pad or one that was not coarse?
Been a long time but I think I used 3M foam waffle pads. Be careful with plastic because it's easy to burn and melt. Keep the pad moving.
Frazier Payne if you burn your plastics you can use a flat razor blade and cut most of it off then wet sand it & buff
My white ATV is dyed yellow from the compound and it is very difficult to remove!
You are doing something wrong. This compound won't stain anything.
This is the kind of person you want to buy used stuff from.
I wish I could buy stuff from myself.
Do you think a golf cart can be done this way? Man you did a great job.
doesnt car wax have caranuba oils that can damage plastics over time?
Zeke Rich I thought they stopped putting that in waxes. Most cars now have a lot of plastic on them.
mossman381 Most cars do have plastic or ABS bumpers however the bumpers are painted with the same paint as the cars. They ad a flexible additive to the paint for plastic parts. I have never seen a car that has the raw plastic exposed. So when people apply wax to the plastic bumper they are actually applying wax to the paint of the bumper not the plastic itself. As far as i know when wax is labeled 100% carnauba wax it actually refers to the purity of the wax used and not the whole product. Car Wax makers have to blend the wax with oils, petroleum distillates, or a solvent called naptha (commonly used to thin wood varnishes and paints) in order to make the wax workable. The very best carnauba-based car wax is only about 1/3 natural carnauba. Reference: www.autogeek.net/qude101.html
mossman381 I was wondering because i also used the same method as you and it worked wonderfully, very glossy. However once the wax had either dried or worn off it left a very dull finish, more dull than before the waxing.
Zeke Rich I know the painted plastic would not be affected but every chevy truck has plastic covers on the chrome bumpers, plastic mirrors, plastic cowl covers, tailgate cover, bed rail covers and many other parts on various other cars are unpainted plastic. I figured they wouldn't let people use products on cars that would destroy other parts. I really don't know what is in the wax I used. My ranger shined for as long as I had it. It never dulled and it was parked outside all the time.
What speed setting would you recommend?
You have to be careful you don't burn your plastic. Take it easy and only go as fast as you need to get it to polish. Can't remember what speed I used. Maybe 2 or so.
What speed are you running the buffer at
Can't remember that long ago. Don't go to fast or you will burn your plastic. You will have to experiment but take it easy. It's not like paint on steel.
How would a light sand with 1200 paper and clear coat work?
400 grit is what you usually need to lay down paint. Sanding with 1200 is like pre polishing. You could sand and clear it. Would look new depending on the condition of the body. The clear coat will probably hold up better and add protection to the plastic.
Thanks Mosman381.. I just might do that with my ride...
Thank you for the video, very helpful and well made! Sub and like!
Vinny Ferraro Glad it helped. I really hated seeing that Ranger go. I had it looking good but now I have the 6x6 I really wanted.
Is this permanent or temparary?
Should be permanent. You can put a wax on it after the buff and it should protect the plastic so it doesn't happen again.
mossman381 Thankyou
Did something happen before that?
Happen to what before what???
mossman381 can we do this without the machine?
What about the used pads are they washable?
You can wash them but the older they get the less effective they are.
@@mossman381 thanks
Paper tape ?
Bet it left more glue for you to remove ... 🤷
Not sure what paper tape is?
that buffer spins to fast.. slower speed u wont get the burns.. but its hard to find a low speed buffer
***** I didn't burn anything. Keep the buffer moving and you should have no problems doing what I did.
specialformula14 it better too use a drill
Sounds like that drill needs new bearings
A heat gun or hair dryer for a few mins would have loosened that decal.
You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. The eraser wheel is WAY better than heat and scraping it off. Especially old decals.
Is this Norm McDonald from Saturday Night Live...
Oh my fuck what are you doin to the sticker
It's called an eraser wheel. Takes off stickers and other glue very easily.
This video was brought to you by Meguiars..! 😂🤣
I wish, no sponsorship was given for this video.
mossman381 crap... 😬😟😩 i thought about that fat ass check lol. Anyways my dear, amazing video.! Looks great, im trying this on my ATV.!
Use a wool pad ,you will see better results then foam pads
Wool is less forgiving that foam. This worked out great the way I did it.
@@mossman381 Foam pads increases the heat ,,,but ok there are many ways to do it
C'mon. U were not being Careful buffing that thing. U looked like Michael J Fox using that Buffer
Why don't you go back to watching tv. Sounds like you are good at that. I don't post these videos so people like you can bash them. Trying to help others out. If you continue bashing my videos I will block you.
Just Joking. Great Job. I'm Jealous
silk8668 How would I know you were joking? And that was not a buffer I was using at first. It is an eraser wheel. Used to get off decals. If you don't move it around you will generate so much heat it will melt the plastic.
Ever heard of "Goof Off" or Gum Cutter - Works way better than that POS eraser wheel..
