- Edit: Hey to anyone seeing this now. I've been shown that Zack's The Bonds of Friendship is possible solo, but in all honesty I'm nowhere near as good as the players pulling that off so I probably won't be doing that anytime soon.
This was fun to do. Took a me a few attempts, and even still this run was kinda sloppy. You can especially tell I panicked at the end. I've seen people say that Sephiroth isn't very powerful, so I decided to prove them wrong. Maybe I'll try this again at some point, but who knows.

I’m gonna be honest with you since I’ve see a few people ask. I am working on it and Zack’s is MUCH tougher than Sephiroth’s. Not only because Sephiroth is just busted but because the lineup of enemies between the summons is harder. I have hope it’s doable. If I get it done, it will be here.
@@ThatsGuyFlaming You inspired me to do both with this video. I did Sephiroth's in about 26 minutes in a few tries and Zack's makes me want to rip my hair out. Dude has no pressure game whatsoever and needs level 3 charge to do any real damage. His path is also much harder and he doesn't have Seph's limit gain and get out of jail reraise.
@@FossBoss723 Furthest I have made it so far is stage 4. I beat Phoenix once (honestly complete luck) and immediately got knowledge checked by Brineborn Demon. Titan isn’t that difficult once you get the patterns down, second boss is annoying but doable, just takes a while. I agree with everything you’ve said. It feels like it takes 2 uses of Meteor Strikes III to get similar results to one Focused Thrust from Cloud.

Sephiroth's limit goes up super quickly in any case but otherwise he seems completely standard to me, which is not really faithful to the original because he was invincible in ff7 on PS1
The fact that we are able to play with one of the most famous villains without paying any additional fee in an era where there is a dlc for basically anything is truly amazing

Its not that amazing. This is what games need to go back to. Being released as full products. DLC needs to be pushed into the past. If production wants to make new content for an exisiting IP, they should just save it for the next release instead of spoon feeding people.

@@SeverinoCatule i fail to see a collection of voxels, paired with a set of programmed animations, amazing. Its not hard to do. And SE was lazy about including multiple playable characters in their games for too long. They shouldnt be worshipped as amazing for finally doing what they should have been doing for a long time already. All due respect.

I LOVE doing this challenge solo. I’ve learnt so many cool quirks to sephs combat! To anyone reading did you know when you parry an attack and use counter you actually counter the damage you just parried? So if a move was gona hit you for 9999 and you parried it you are about to do a whopper of a counter!:)

Parrying is for Losers.
i thought it starts at a base number dmg and each time you parry again without using the counter,the dmg and limit break that it gives goes higher and higher.
but the huge part that i figured out was the counter dmg ignores the defense or barrier or whatever the enemy has,in other word it deals true dmg.so its the best way to break Titans shield
Ah the old "I'll let you kill me because I have Reraise" flex 😂. Sephiroth is a demon. Stronger and faster than everyone
@@watchdevil it just all depends on what attack you parry I’m certain of it. I am still experimenting and there MAY be a sort of buildup in counter damage you accumulate but I’m not sure. From what I know that’s 100% true if you parry an attack that does 5k damage you will deal that back. The bigger the number the more limit you charge. The second round you can parry the ogres attack when he’s fully buffed “fury I think it’s called” and you will literally deal 9999 back haha. It killed him but I noticed my limit go from a quarter full to completely full.
Lore accurate Sephiroth would do this in less than 2 minutes.
Well, you know what they say about the final boss when you fight him vs when you unlock him. 🥲

Thx for this man, I know I'll need to to clear the Leg Bout during the fight with odin or bahamut, indeed it saved my ass when fighting odin since he took out my cloud instantly (panic lols), and had Seph solo him with Circle Triangle and few times of LB. Finally cleared it!
After playing the game strategically through all the brutal and legendary challenges, I love how the game rewards us with Sephiroth that we can go into full hack and slash mode

The fact that they made a playable Sephiroth has me wondering if we'll see an 'alternate timeline' where he remained a hero.
Not saying it's necessarily a good idea, but seems a waste to design him just for one fight and a tutorial mission.
exactly, i figured the same, in one of the timeline, where sephi knows his birth mother is Lucretia, and he doesn't crack
@@zacksiva7457thing is he was always looking for his mother, so I think his end is all the same. Lucrecia being his mother doesn’t change the fact that she betrayed him, a fact that is guaranteed to make him insane just like thinking Jenova is his mom made him insane. I think it would be the same whether he learned jenova wasn’t a cetra but an alien. Everything is horrific to know as a fact. Even being just a human makes his life a tragic irony. Everyone in his life has betrayed him. But he won’t betray his ideals and his devotion to someone he loves. Which is why I think his descent into madness is so compelling and works even almost 30 yrs later! He is a great villain with compelling reasons to do what he does.
@BobBob-pr4eh He would still be crushed and heartbroken, but I don't think he'd be the same deranged world dominating sephiroth, because he did what he did originally because he thought he was the son of Jenova and believed that humanity took the world from her, so he was going to take it back in her name

@@oneofthekindscarf8612 I used to as well but as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized he would simply reject it out of sheer pain and cling onto the lies hojo and shinra told him(whim adds onto the ironic tragedy) He would still fall into madness and destroying the world’s inhabitants. Because either way even his real mom didn’t want him. He wasn’t even worth anything to anyone except for his power. And now he gets to use the way he wants to. Part of me thinks, the new remake version of sephiroth knows it but can’t and won’t accept it. At least the crazy alien fake cetra jenovah gives him something to pour his energy into. And he’s finally expressing his freedom, but it’s delusional because he’s just another victim of hojos sadism. He’s just a fool which is why he’s a great villain to clouds pure innocence and selflessness. He has no freedom yet his actions are not of a fool but of someone exceeding regular human morals and standard. Most people are standbyers (technically sephiroth was too by being a tool for shinra and not facing the fact of what he was doing) but Cloud didn’t even hesitate for even a second, he went into action and did it. A true brave soldier and hero (of good)

Apparently being left handed is advantageous in combat sports like boxing and fencing since majority of people aren’t use to fight left handed people. Seems like Sephiroth was always born to be a fighter lol

Yeah, Sephy's limit break gauge mechanics are pretty busted when you know how to do it. I found the "To be a Hero" challenge far easier than the "Bonds of Friendship" challenge for that very reason. Awesome solo kill, though...this can't be easy without Cloud nuking everything.

This town's actually became fun after about 30 attempts because I mastered it by that point. Now I can breeze right through all ten rounds. I can't say I have tried it solo like this though!

But a combat Simulator Update where you could create your own Fights with every enemy or boss from the Game and play with any Party you want including Sephiroth and Zack would be awesome
I really want something like this too. While working on this video there were a few times where I really wanted to practice against a particular enemy with Sephiroth but couldn’t. Also I just wanna fight Gilgamesh again without doing the other Rulers of Outer Worlds fights again.
How this went down:
Chadley: okay, for this simulation, Cloud, you will be working with Virtual Sephiroth to complete this guantlet.
Cloud: F*** off. *Walks away*
Chadley: Okay, Sephiroth, I guess you will do a CPU vs CPU run in this simulation.
Virtual Sephiroth: Cloud is into those gacha games where npc allied characters are weak that you literally have to use your own roster you pay gacha for to complete. I completely understand that feeling.
Chadley: Sephiroth you are way too understanding for being a virtual being.
Virtual Sephiroth: I know my mother is the creator of this virtual hologram of a person who used to exist. Mother created me to be an asset for everyone involved so I will abide accordingly.
Oh you can solo these as Zack and Sephiroth? :o I only have to finish Tifa, Red, Aerith and Yuffie's Legend Bouts to finally unlock this and Zack one (Brutal 6 is just outright...brutal)

Looking at this makes me hope that Sephiroth gets redemption in Part Three and joins the party but also see how greatly they can expand his moveset with multiple weapons, newer limit breaks, newer abilities, and outfits.
How do you play as sephiroth and Zack during these? I’ve beaten the whole game on dynamic difficulty and don’t know how to play as sephiroth.
Finish protorelics sidequest and defeat Gilgamesh. It will unlock Brutal and Legendary VR missions. Seph and Zack are the last 2 legendary missions
So whos the boss in these battles?
They need to do an update where u can play as young sephiroth ( ever crisis model ) and just mess around in the open world

Any unique will charge it, I just found that the dodge was fastest and the fact it’s a dodge also helps

I feel like zack's moves are really great in this game like the chain slash and the high braver but sephiroth doesn't look that interesting and he doesn't really deal as much damage as other characters too
His main strength is that he's super fast
What annoys me about the Remakes of FF7 is no matter how hard u grind and level up your characters you can never beat everything on all modes unless you are a very skilled player, and sadly I'm not, I beat the OG FF7 to FF10 with all my players maxed out and beat every secret boss it was so rewarding, but I just don't have the skill to beat Rebirth 100% no matter how much I max level everything 😭, makes me feel bad

i thought you had to include cloud in the trial? how did you get sephiroth alone? or is that only for Cloud and Zack where they can’t be solo
So it’s actually funny. Originally I thought that too, so I just had Cloud with enemy skill casting self destruct on himself at the start of every battle. Then when starting another run I realized the game doesn’t stop you from going in without both characters. You can do this with just Cloud if you wanted.

You can do it with most if not all the combat sims i was just doing cloud vs the summons most of the early game

Once his aura is charged, every one of his unique abilities (activated with triangle) fills his limit gauge when they connect.

Yeah, after you beat the game and then beat a bunch of difficult combat simulations you unlock a battle for them each.

I’m actually not sure whether or not the summons in these fights are full power. You can’t change them either.

@@Lordlos9 the challenges are the hardest thing in the game. They recommend being max level (70) and they’re also set to hard difficulty and can’t be lowered.
Please please tell me how. Cause every video I’m seeing .no one is telling or showing how you can play sephiroth in ff7 rebirth. And it’s making me mad 😡
You have to beat the protorelic quests and then beat the game, then there are a series of difficult combat simulator challenges, after you do all that you unlock challenges that involve Sephiroth and Zack.

He lacks variety his aerial combo is like jist beyblade spinning. Cool but repetitive
That’s actually more my fault than anything. He does have a more diverse aerial combo, but the beyblade dash move builds limit when it connects like his other branched finishers. I also found that it builds up the stagger gauge more quickly too.

After you beat the game and the protorelic stuff you unlock some difficult combat challenges and once you beat all of those you unlock some battles featuring Sephiroth and Zack.
You don't get to use sephiroth in the VR simulation.
So this isn't real.
