    I have this model and love it . Look at the range as a guide only . Charging levels and range change according to your driving habits as the car is smarter than a human being so don’t get hung up on the range adjusting a different levels. Just drive the car within the 25% range slow and easy and you’ll get great mileage. Great car.I’m a realtor and drive the car all day within my city limits and never have a problem with range issues. Have solar panels on my house so just charge my car on a nightly basis with no worries

    When I test drove the e-Tron, it felt very heavy. It was fast, but it left me feeling that it could/should be faster (maybe it was intentional). The driver assist system couldn’t read the lines half of the time, when we were in the freeway on a bright sunny day. And the range is a bit disappointing, considering it starts at like $90k (yes, I understand the range is enough for most people during their daily commute). It does come with 4 years maintenance, but since there are nothing to maintain, technically speaking, not sure if that’s a bonus.
    On the upside, the e-Tron is very spacious (for 4 adults, maybe 5), and extremely well built. As you’d expect from Audi.

    13:30 That is incorrect. This car was designed, and engineered as an all-electric platform. The same goes for the Taycan, and the upcoming Audi electric 4 door car.

    To me a compact BEV makes more sense for getting around a city and minimizing the impact on earth’s resources. With limited range and crazy pricing, this Audi appears to be just a toy for the wealthy. I presume in a few years the larger BEV’s will become more practical offering more usable range and overall package efficiency.

      This review sounds a little pretentious. Comments about The heated steering wheel that should be a requirement to the plastics. I would be more interested in what mileage running AC or having to run the heat in real world circumstances. More practical things like that.

      Ladybug Adventures you can in efficiency mode drive this at 20,5-21,5 kWh/100 km, without big elevations. That would give it about 410 km of range. My test was done in about 12 degrees Celsius, and speeds at 60-90 km/h. But you then drive with a light pedal. Climate control then at eco, but didn’t feel that much difference in the cabin. If you do the same in comfort, full ac capability, you do more like 22-24 kWh/100 km. Then we are talking more 360-390 km. Remember this 100% of the battery. For daily use, I would think utilizing about 60-70% of the battery will be more likely, but for longer trips your more at 80-90%. The problems is when you increase the speed past 90 km/h, the consumption then really increases. I have done two test drives, but only one with consumption as focus.

    Any reason to pay some $40000 over Q5 for a very similar vehicle? Apart from saving $200 on gas every month (and paying back all the gas savings to buy a new battery after few years)
    I feel you are just buying Q5 for double the price

      Just buy a Tesla, people have had it for years and have yet to need to replace a battery and lost minimal range.

      the benefits in BC are huge....better lanes, parking, gas is $2-$2.50/L. I got mine used for what a new model 3 would cost and I hate Tesla/Elon so it was a no brainer for me.

    Too expensive! Audi should have made Electric A3 or A4 before this ! Something like Golf Id, More affordable! Dose Audi know about Tesla 3 ? No wonder why Audi’s sale was down 19% in 2019!

    Range and no OTA are the deal breaker for me, model Y or the new Ford EV based on mustang are top two on my list now.

      I think it does have an Alcantara with fake leather but it has no ventilation seats.

    Terrible charging technology.
    Awful complicated cockpit controls.
    Why would anybody get this instead of a Tesla Model Y ? E-Tron is selling poorly and Audi will cancel this and try to make a better EV.
