I love these Police Story movies, especially this one. It shows cops are human with flaws, faults and weaknesses like us. They're not heroes, but sometimes perform heroic acts.
I agree, but they made it confusing, trying to keep up with who was who. Three characters, their features and hairstyles made them look too much alike. They were the new Lieutenant, the married guy whose wife was being done by the other cop, and the other cop who was doing his wife.
What an ignorant statement. Next time you're in trouble or your friends & family are in trouble, you all definitely don't deserve to dial 911. They shouldn't have to help people who don't appreciate them. No respect. Typical of entitled brats.
He played the racist meathead "Gurgli" in "Four Friends" (1981), and he became a policeman in that movie too. He also got barfed on in the bar fight scene. Funny as heck!
I totally forgot about Rosanne Katon I thought she was so hot when I was a kid first movie, I saw her in was Motel hell. This movie was great they really dont make things like this anymore.
Yep. This was made during a writers’ strike, so they dusted off some old Police Story scripts and remade them. It was the same reason they revived Mission: Impossible. I liked how they got a lot of the details right from the original series - the audio from the radio dispatcher at the beginning and end, the credits font. Sorry they didn’t use the original theme, though.
@tracywilliams7929 In a lot of ways, I liked it better that way. Those vests vary from uncomfortable to literally painful. They not only distract, but slow you down.
Jack Warden's character as a Watch Commander is in no position to give up his shield, he wants to stay out in the street but they're all talking him into retiring.
Its true find the balance or this career will destroy you. I made some really stupid mistakes within the last month that were all because im not balancing life and career
The Woman who said I thought we'd be safe with an Officer living next door, was not being realistic. Sometimes burglars don't know a Cop lives there. 🤔
Fantastic movie. Thanks.
Thanks for posting
Excellent Television 👍📺📺

Jack Warden was as good an actor as you could get......very versatile in the many parts he played.
Yeah, the quality of actors has really gone downhill. 🤣🤣🤣
Jack Warden always gives a great performance. My favorite of his is Crazy Like A Fox.
Yeah I also liked him in the one with Don Johnson. I think it was called DoubleJeopardy.
No ads, I love it!!!
Also the best movie and story about Police,, like to watching 👍👍
so many great character actors in this one

That was great!!!
Really good characters , lots of action ! ❤👍

I agree with everything you say except I like cops.
The cop whose bullets were confiscated was the actor that played Tackleberry in Police Academy,Tackleberry must have joined LAPD
It figures it would be him.
He played the racist meathead "Gurgli" in "Four Friends" (1981), and he became a policeman in that movie too.

Funny as heck!
❤🎉😊😂❤

Played a cop on "Seinfeld" TOO !
@rickobrien4025
I'm in my 60's and have yet to watch a Seinfeld.
But one day I might watch an episode with David Graf because he's pretty funny.
That’s Benny from Total Recall. I’ve got 5 kids to feed!!
I totally forgot about Rosanne Katon I thought she was so hot when I was a kid first movie, I saw her in was Motel hell. This movie was great they really dont make things like this anymore.
8:18 Tackleberry carrying unauthorized ammo.
This was a remake of the original police story.triggerpoint with david jannsan

Good movie 🎉
Can't believe these guys go into a hot situation without wearing a flak jacket. I guess it was like that back then.

Tackaberry's up to it again!
Back in the day, situations in Los Angeles were really bad.
Nice take step back time with the LAPD. Back then I had 7 yrs on the job in 77 divs
Good movie.
David died very young of a heart attack
Wow
🙏, I just read that.
This episode was made some years before Police Academy was made.
Looked up the year this one was made. 1988. I think when they tried reviving show on ABC.
Actually, it wasn't. Police Academy was released in 1984. This was done in 1988.
Nope, PA was from 1984----4 years before Police Story.

That's right.
I only remember this episode and the one with Robert Conrad.
Its true find the balance or this career will destroy you. I made some really stupid mistakes within the last month that were all because im not balancing life and career
Jack Warden was good in Presidio with Mark Harmon and with Al Pacino in And Justice For All.
Don't like to see him handle the horse that way . . Not watching this. Goodbye
Por favor en español gracias
Turn on captions. English is primary language in the US.
Yeah but tackleberry would not beat a guy half to death
No, he'd just shoot him.
Rock hard
The Woman who said I thought we'd be safe with an Officer living next door, was not being realistic. Sometimes burglars don't know a Cop lives there. 🤔
This episode1973
What's tod gakkkk doing there 😂
Michelob… the WORST beer on earth! anahhaha
This looks like a American series about cops that only lasted on the domestic tv circuit expect a lot racist/sexist stereo types.
h
Nice story. Everybody's an asshole or nuts.
Slow and uneventful
Sometimes that's good
