Wow, those prices are above secondary. As to horse solider the story is cooler than the whiskey. Love to support veterans, but I’ve tried all 3 horse solider shelfers and none were great. The barrel proof was ok, but not a bottle I’d go back to often.

When we’re in Vegas, I usually hunt at Lee’s Discount, Total Wine and Liquor Lineup. Picked up some EHT single barrels last time we were there! Happy hunting!

Lee’s has a decent selection, but if they have allocated stuff most of it will be priced at secondary, but not as bad as this place, and it depends on the bottle. I got a Jack 12 from Lee’s for $99… I can’t believe this place wanted $400 for it- those prices are WILD! You definitely need to hit Liquor Lineup if you can, though. Either the Decatur store or their new Skye Canyon Park location. Liquor Lineup has some excellent store picks too. It is a bit of a drive from the strip, but totally worth it in my opinion. They still have Jack SBBP rye and regular on sale for 59.99 right now, and just got the new Wild Turkey 70th anniversary for $54.99. Hope you enjoy your trip, and you can find some decent bottles to take home with you! Cheers! 🥃

Welcome to a Tourist Museum. I mean I guess if you have good night at the tables you could justify spending that, but everything was marked up. Looked like everything even shelfers were marked up more than 35%. I always look for the Benchmark, if they are higher than maybe 1-2 bucks above SRP I walk out as that's a store trying to take advantage of the Bourbon community.

I came to the same conclusion while I was in Vegas. Looking back I guess I shouldn’t have been too surprised though. Sadly the spot I found prices to be even somewhat reasonable was at the total wine, but even then it wasn’t stuff that you probably wouldn’t already see in your neck of the woods. 🥃 cheers man.

i have a george t stagg and thomas handy from 2023 release both great but not worth those prices , 400 for the handy and maybe 800 for the george t stagg max.

Liquor World is HI A-F.... Nevada has the lowest Liquor prices in the nation but that store was HI...

All the liquor stores close to the strip are high, they say it’s because when some hits big they will buy.
If the music wasn't loud enough to turn people away, those prices on everything definitely are.
$400 for a regular JD SBBP rye? Yeah that’s an instant turnaround and leave for me.
What a pile of a store. The level of greed is so astronomically preposterous. No one, and I mean no one, should buy anything from that place.
Those prices are ridiculous, even for Vegas. At that point it’s just a display case and not a sales case. 😂

Same, the KOK has been on my bucket list for a while.
I don't know how, but I immediately knew that was Vegas. I've been one time and I stayed in the NY hotel (not far from where you were standing). Never rode any of the elevators outside but I walked across the pedestrian overpasses plenty roaming the strip.
Vegas is the worst city in the world to hunt bottles. And i live there.

I don't drink bourbon but I do buy a small bottle of bourbon about once a year. I make cough syrup with lemon juice, honey, rock candy and bourbon is used as a preservative of the cough syrup.

Been there 27 times (one of my best friends lives in Henderson). What's funny is people think those prices are crazy (they definitely are!) but don't hesitate to lose a grand in the slot machine in two minutes...lol Oh well, that place wasn't built on winners that's for sure. Safe travels, friend!
