I searched for a DIY Lazy Susan video and found yours today. I am about to do some cake decorating and am trying to keep my costs down, as I'm just doing it for myself/family/friends (i.e., not starting a business). This Lazy Susan hack will work for cake decorating! It certainly beats having to turn the cake manually while you are flattening the crumb coat and also piping borders, etc. 👍
Thank you for uploading your DIY video! ❤

Nice! I glued toilet paper rolls around a coffee jar… after I painted them in rainbow colours and filled them with my matching Crayola 100 pack pencils, watercolour brushes in the middle jar and then put that all on a bought plastic lazy Susan… it looks cool on my desk! I want another one for other supplies so now I know how to make a lazy Susan myself, yay!

Ty! Looked at like 5 other high tech videos on how to make a lazy Susan.
First, they mostly use bought hardware. I saved a few old microwave plate rotators lol but no iffy on how to house them.
Now I have a better idea. Grt job! You can even just use those sheet binder hardware instead of the washers to make the turns more smooth.
    Ty for the ideas!

Seems like you could just put the stuff on a circle plate and hand spin it with out the bottom piece but if you added some kind of bottom to the bottom piece something kind of heavy that seems like it would be good like a candle stick or a cup or upside down bowl glued down to your bottom piece 🤔🤷‍♀️
