Clever! I love the two looks for the lazy susans. As always, I love your UA-cam channel! You are an inspiration! I’m catching up with all of your shows! ❤️❤️❤️
Ahhh thanks! I am having so much fun with the chalkboard one!! Each month gets a new message!! And I just saw a marble one with gold trim in a decor store for over $50! Mine is a good dupe for that :) Thanks for watching!!
OMG! I really liked the cheese stamp on the round board. I would have just sealed it. Then use that as my lazy susan. I think that would be a great conversation piece.
doing this to put my essential oils on. I keep getting more and having to think of new ways to keep them together and easy to get to. These are both great options. new subbie!

sandra alexander ahhh that is so sweet of you to say! I am so happy this was easy to understand 😁 I love mine and especially love the chalkboard one! So fun to change the message. TFW!!
Sam Tate that is so funny because I had people think I was nuts as well 😝 I have a specialty hardware store near me and they knew exactly what I wanted.
Glad it was helpful! It was one of my first videos so I am happy to hear you found this helpful. They can certainly be expensive and I saved so much money this way. I still use mine to this day and I love them!! TFW!! ❤
Sister please do some highend designer dupes and provide the links to source them. It will be helpful for people who cannot buy expensive designer home decos.
Get your husband one of the garage multi directional LED lights from Amazon. They're about $30 and will illuminate that whole workshop. They screw directly into a standard light socket--so no installation. It's life changing!
Thanks Yvonne! Sorry I missed that part - wood rounds are from dollar store, paint is from Michael's as is the gold tape, the contact paper was from a local hardware store as was the lazy Susan turntables. Hope that helps! TFW!
how much does that lazy Susan run though? If it would cost as much as just purchasing one I might as well just buy one. It looks nice but I'm not to concerned with it looking expensive just functional
I Just Found The Hardware In A 2 Pack On Amazon For About $6. The Lazy Susan’s However Seem Like They Start At About $25 And Up For Good Quality Ones.. I’m Sure Cheap Slabs/Scraps Of Wood Are Cheap As Well!
More info about the hardware would have been very helpful. And you never showed the finished products actually working. Looks like it sits too low?? Any way to raise it a bit?

Just a suggestion, but if you're going to label a video as being made "with Dollar Store items," then you really should use actual dollar store items, and not just one piece. It's misleading and frustrating for people who think they might get help in building something actually made from dollar store pieces. One piece of wood and some trim does not a lazy susan make.
@@homewithkellyp Your title was fine. Some people love to criticize any chance they get. I appreciate you showing us how to make them. I love both of them.
Some people are just nice like this lady doing the tutorial and then there's some people like you. I'm sure there are other channels with lazy susan DIY's. No one made you watch this one.
Both look great!!
Thanks for sharing.
Glad you like them! Thanks so much for stopping by! 🎄
watched this for the first time only way i was able to undertand fully how to do this lol thank yyou so much
Where did you get the turn table base?
I got mine on eBay. I got an awesome deal on eBay. 20 6" hardware's for 20 bucks!!!!!

Kelly, this is awesome!!! The gold washi tape definitely made the marble pop. And the chalkboard one is so clever.

Hi..thk u for your video! Where can we buy the lazy Susan turntable??!!
Just curious if I could use a plastic or glass vase and "glue" the hardware. I don't have tools other than glue gun and E6000.

I like it that way too. What should I get to seal it with?

Kelly, Great demo. Are you worried at all that the lazy susan hardware will scratch wood surfaces?
would you be able to put on 651 vinyl on the painted one, when the paint dries, even after should you gloss it after the vinyl.
What are the metal plates called?
What dollar tree has turntables???
Where do I get the hardware for it
Sam Tate that is so funny because I had people think I was nuts as well 😝 I have a specialty hardware store near me and they knew exactly what I wanted.

I can't believe you used the cheese print as the bottom. that is the rustic side. ! and more cost effective. lol. to each their own I guesd

Local hardware store. Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace hardware, probably Walmart, etc.

It is a shame that you don't really know how Lazy susan bearings work. You completely forgot the base plate/board
