These are the state of charge lights. Green means good, yellow means low and red means bad. Since there are five, I would assume each represents 20%. Meaning red means 20% left, two green means 80% left. I wouldn't bet the farm on the accuracy of them though.

@@MDHenry4 the motor is just branded "Jasion". No telling who makes it. I doubt it's Bafang though.
Looks like no instructions come with it.
That's my fault. The paperwork in the bag of tools were the instructions.
