I've been so excited to make this video for a while, because I LOVE grocery shopping and cooking and I'm quite chuffed with the system that I've developed after 1.5 years of living alone (I don't know why "chuffed" felt like the right word here, I've never used it before in my life)
It's important to me that my food tastes good, doesn't take too long to prepare, is healthy, doesn't cost too much... whew, it's a long list of requirements! In this video I'm sharing with you my best tips for grocery shopping on a budget, for cooking food efficiently throughout the week and saving money by packing lunches, and I'll even show you EXACTLY what i bought in the course of one week living in Madird!

i just moved out from my parents home and i'm leaving on my own for the first time, your adulting dashboard is literally saving me! my meal prepping has been a mess and it's such a good idea to have the three basics always cooked and ready to go, instead of having to think oh i'll make these dishes. thank you!!! I'm from Spain but I still feel like 41€ is so freaking little. Well donee 👏. Does the fact that you live with your partner help? Like, is it the total of your groceries divided by two?

I live alone, we don't live together :) When we do spend time together and cook together then we kinda take turns buying ingredients, so it should even out I guess 😋

FYI - Coconut milk freezes fine, I freeze it in little silicone cupcake cases and them pop them in an air tight container.
Perfect timing because I currently have only 5.39 euros and I have to survive this week somehow until my mum transfers the child support money to me. Living life on the edge at the moment haha… 😅💛 I especially like the tip to go to different supermarkets and compare the prices. I‘ll be doing a trip to Lidl, Aldi and Netto soon then. 😂

nonono I just cut the veggies and keep the fresh veggies in the fridge for 4 days, then I do the cooking each morning
