FS17 Timelapse, Dowland Farm Seasons #32: Bringing In The Straw!

- In today's Farming Simulator 17 time lapse video, which is set on the Dowland Farm Seasons map, based in Yorkshire in England-
The baling is almost finished, just one field left to go. Then we've got to get the bales in, this is always the bit that takes the most time at harvest time! We're going to store some round bales at the main yard, some up at the pig farm. Then the square bales are all going over to the sheep farm. We need to spread them out a little as otherwise the insurance company won't cover us!

i know they take too much time and effort to do it for him, as he is a very busy man
Now it takes around 6 ours for one timelapse so 12 ours in a week and editing and his normals vids so he puts many time in it
He has more on other maps

Great work with the bale stacking. Watching it soothed my OCD with how neat the shed full of bales is. Just goes to show the difference a steering wheel makes.
I know when you did the first look on this map, you didn't like the start point. I don't know if you seen it but a mod has come out which saves your position when you exit your savegame it's called "Career Startpoint Save" hopefully it will help you along and as always keep up the good work😊👍🏼
Collecting, transporting with weight and straps, and stacking properly in a shed brings a strange sense of accomplishment only a fellow bale hound would know. You must be using a wheel for the pivot steer loading shovel, nice as it lifts them square at any height unlike a merlo. Kudos on adding in the text about asking permission for entry through the sawmill too, nice touch. The attention to realistic details is rare for a fs streamer, you must be involved with ag in real life to know the kind of details you put in such as fire insurance and bale prices. Have to shut gates round here to stop the caravan-born entrepreneurs haha!! Great vid!!
Spent a lot of my life on a farm, worked summer jobs, did full time farm work for several years as well. My summer work as a teenager was working in straw fields, driving tractors and bale trailers or driving telehandlers stacking bales. So yes, plenty of bale handling under my belt! My whole family have a farming background so the details have just been part of my life for a large chunk of it, although now there are very few members of my family still in farming. They've all either retired or moved on to other things.
And yes, I have a wheel, I also use a joystick for the loader as it gives much smoother control than the mouse

My grandparents had a farm fire due to to much straw in one building! And it melted the steel beams and a digger was in it and it melted the glass in the cab!

Unfortunately this save cannot be released, it's on a version of the map that the creators made for me, the released one has further changes to it. The next series will be on a public map though!

the JCB factrac goes 43 MPH i also heard MAN is offering their AR pack for select farms and it comes with tandem unit the trucks will be gifted out with 1 cab 1 trailer and 2 of each attachment

You should invest in a lorry like one in the man tgs pack that recently came out on modhub. Its worth it for hauling the bales and crops and at this point in this series i think it's a good idea ☺

It's the Cotech Bale Fork. You can find it in the in-game mods section. I've been using it for ages to move up to 10 bales at a time. (5 high by 2 wide. The claws hold everything in place nicely.)

How can you even have so much inspiration to play on a savegame for so long? I cant even play 10 hours! And can u check out stappenbach? It has 235 fields and it needs the animation map trigger mod, but its a beatifull map!
I spend a VERY long time checking maps over and picking out the right one for the time lapse as I spend roughly 250 hours on a map for a full time lapse series!

That's the auto load trailer, you can select which bale you put on it
