Makes me think of ''Nikkele Nelis'; the guy with drums on his back attached to his leg a hihat tied to his other leg, bells on his head, harmonia in his mouth, strumms guitar, ukelele & banjo around his neck & elastic chord tied to his balls so whenever he wants to sing very high pitch he throws his head in his neck.
OMG, I love this song, knew it when it first came out in the 80s, by Tears for Fears, a much faster version. This is a take on the Gary Jules version, much slower, from the movie Donny Darko. This is superb, can't believe that solo by Wayne, superb !!!

This was once my brothers favourite song . I remember him bringing the original version home, by tears for fears and playing it in our living room. Sadly he passed away on the 8th of March 2024 aged 60, one month after his birthday.

C'est l'une des versions de Mad World qui m'émeut le plus, il m'arrive de l'écouter en boucle, les voix sont tellement en accord, la musique simple et élégante, tout le sens des paroles de Tears for Fears, l'inspiration de Gary Jules dans l'interprétation, un peu plus de rythme, une guitare lumineuse et qui brode autour du thème en partant des graves vers les aigus, avec un tempo légèrement crescendo : j'adore, tout simplement !! quel talent !
I can't find words to express how I love this band. They are just perfect. Very talented amazing people. I love this cover, these instrumentals and vocals, beautifulness is just getting out of this masterpiece. I love Dan's voice so much. Platz's sweet voice too, I wish these two do a duet someday ❤ Oh my God one of my dreams would come true then.

@@brtjk5802 I still love Imagine Dragons! But that's true I fell for other bands/artists. Some time ago I discovered my favorite music is, generally speaking, rock of XX century. Mostly hair metal, classic rock, hard rock. Dragons are almost only modern band I listen to, I still love them. I just think nothing compares to good old rock from 70s/80s

Quite possibly the best cover of Tears for Fears' best.
That guitar solo was superb. It would've been great to see them work up the rhythm tempo to the same as the original as the song progressed. Still, one to come back to again and more.
