- Quick guide on how to select rocks to mine and how to get prospectors going continuously, which improves overall efficiency a lot.
Demonstration of new class 1 mining lasers and class 3C multi limpet controller.
To get the mining lasers you have to unlock them at the tech broker in LTT 198, which is permit locled, so uou have to go to EGM 559 and do missions to rep-up to allied with Torval Mining Ltd. I'm not sure, but you might be able to get them from the tech broker in EGM 559 on the megaship, which isn't permit locked.

Very useful for me thanks. It should get my cutter time down from 1.5 hours to 1 hour hopefully especially if I use the new mining lasers and multi lipet controller.
I have a collector but it didn't move automatically from ship ? What am I missing that I did wrong. I'm new to the game been playing in stages bare with me
It didn't collect anything after using my lasers, for me I had to scoop it myself. I have it in the same fire group. Am I missing a equipment that I need to buy or set correctly in my group ? Or am I not pressing the correct button ?
@@TonyA_M I can only guess, but I'm going to say that you forgot or didn't know you have to buy the limpets separately before you leave the station. Start with about 2/3 of your cargo capacity. If you get"cargo hold full" and you still have limpets left, abandon 1/3 of what you have left to create more cargo space.
If you had limpets, maybe you forgot to open the cargo hatch, so full limpets will wait to get in and no more will fire.
