I love your common sense riding reminders! All of us tend to take things for granted after we've ridden for a long time so hearing reminders of how to avoid crashes and how to strive for the safest outcomes is greatly appreciated! Love your group ride videos!
Eldred, I’m cracking up laughing at the 2 dude’s squeezing thru that gate, the 1st guy I was like, man that was close & then the other guy zipped by a second later. That was too close for comfort @Veloharmony 😅
@ThomasAnselmi1337 I plan too but I'm in Richmond which is about an hour away. Need to ensure I get enough rest and don't repeat riding on 4 hr sleep 😁
Since you have a carbon wheel, even though that it is "minor" damage and still remains true, are you going to replace the wheel because of the damage, and non-reparable nature of carbon, or are you going to continue to ride it? I've heard that even a scratch, or small crack, can cause carbon to fail.... just wondering your thoughts.
Eventually it will be replaced. Those babies are pricey. I have done the initial assessments and found no delamination in the fibers. Since they're not separating and it's holding true, the structure is fine. I rode home at fast speeds not knowing about the damage. I rode it two days later with no issues. I am already shopping for replacements in the near future but will continue to use them.
I’m glad to see no one got hurt in this crash ! You’ve got to stay away from these dude’s with the Pro kits on, it gives them the feeling they’re Pro cyclist and are always the ones causing chaos on a ride @Veloharmony 🤣
Preston believes that the braking was too sudden, causing the overlap. The focus for all of us is to continually work on our bike handling skills, because our sport is inherently risky and riding close to other riders increases that risk.

You’re Welcome Kevin
Jennifer displayed incredible on the fly judgment. She’s sore but she’s ridden each day since the crash.
Yes. Jennifer has skills, not to be taken for granted.
nice intro to the riders as you narrate the morning.... yeah for the prayer ...every ride.
Thank you kindly
Glad everyone was okay. Nice commentary of what can happen on a group ride.
Thanks

What’s really funny is after all that, they sat up and waited: Go figure.
Glad everyone is ok...I rode once with Friends of Friends and great group of riders
Yeah..everyone came out fine thankfully and rode the very next day.
Come ride again!

Thanks, great information, as usual!
You bet Karen.

Definitely.
What power meter are you using? I’m looking to purchase one soon.
Garmin RS200 for shimano style cleats
@@Veloharmony Thanks so much!
Aerobars man was the cause unfortunately. He began crossing wheels, panicked, went down and brought bora man with him
