I played bass with Steve from 2003-2005. It was never a dull moment with Steve and I have great memories of a great friend. It was an honor when steve asked me to play bass for him. He was a true original and one of the best musicians ever. R.I.P. Steve....you will be missed, my friend.
Steve always gave his all. One evening in Tulsa, after hitting 3 clubs looking for bands we went to Steve's gig. We made up a total of 12 people there, but he gave his all. He bled for a dozen humans. That's pretty cool. RIP Mr. Pryor.
RIP Steve. Your music will live on. You brought many hours of blues pleasure to me and many of my friends. Enjoyed hours of good times at VZD in OKC and The Mint in LA! Thank you so much!
All these years I remembered your headstock in the carpet feedback finish at the Sunset Grill (Tulsa), and tonight finally here it is again. RIP Steve.
