When I visited Baden-Baden I mostly met French people rather than Russians but I guess they came for the spa on 11 November holiday (not celebrated by the Germans; how weird :) )
Me too Strasbourg is very nearby
Many Russians already came to Baden Baden after the Revolution 2017 in Russia.
What revolution was there in 2017?

Kalinigrad: Russia's most German city.
Lol true
@John Philip really?
@John Philip There's nothing German about Petersburg.
There's nothing german about it anymore
There's nothing german about it anymore
VIP is another word for Gangsters. But Baden Baden is a pretty town!
I never thought Baden-Baden was the most Russian city in Germany, I would've thought that would be some East German city!
The difference is the Russians in Baden-Baden are ethnic Russians while people from East Germany only share Russian mind since they had been brainwashed for 40 years
@@simonm1447 I'm specifically referring to the fact that there's loads of russians in East Germany, on top of the fact that it was soviet. I lived in Thüringen, the Germans are very much German and couldn't care less about their soviet heritage, and there's also loads of Russians.
Maybe someone wants to grow the conflicts between Russian and Ukrainian, but clever people understand that they are from one brotherhood and have the same roots. It's really important and even politics of these countries could not change it. It's a tough time for both, luckily everything passes away.
There's no maybe here my friend, unfortunately it's the fact 😔 now the conflict and the hatred are coming to Europe to ruin the EU... Lets see what the future holds for us.
@@kiever It was approximately 4000 years ago, when Germanic tribes came to the Island GB. But Ukrainians have lived separately from Russia only 30 years. It's not the same, I think. People of Ukraine forgot their past. There is a saying: who forgot their past, won't have the future.
@@Nizam361 find god history book, all you say is not true
Hi Lucas
@Lucas Hi to you, too! 😆
"Only wealthy people can buy a house here", yeah, but that is true for most cities.
Ok, "very wealthy people"!
"Middle of the Black Forest" no, geography a fail? Baden Baden is at the edge of the Black Forst as westwards you have the Rhine Valley which is very close to the French border and then goes over to the Alsace.
Where is Gonzalo Lira?
OH Boy, most of them is still not true :D i live in Baden-Baden till 29 year´s and the things about the "russians" that Alex say´s is still not true :D You can´t here i every cafe or restaurant russian :D :D :D :D Thats not that much like in the video and we don´t feel the war ^^ i work in the tourism, there is nothing changed till the war in Ukraine :D The only point that´s 100% true, is that our town is soooooo expensive :D
The russian flag got taken down there tho..
😯😯
That's good. There should be no russian flags visible in Germany for the decades to come.
@@hello.itsme.5635 I don't see how that's a good thing. The russians should be allowed to celebrate their heritage freely in any democratic country, just like everyone else.
Meanwhile, in the UK I'm sick and tired of seeing more Ukrainian flags than british or even english flags (I live in England). And there's no Ukrainians there, they just raise the Ukrainian flags in churches and stuff, absolutely brainwashed.
So is it OK to raise a certain flag out of shear indoctrination and not out of pure heritage?
Hmm . . . More to learn. Not buying this positive Russian connection.

This is funny, the video is trying to figure put the attractiveness of Baden-Baden to Russians and misses the main point: it’s a resort town with healing water sources. That’s huge for Russians, hence the attraction.
Theres no single russian live in anglo saxon jokes 😂😂😂😂😂🇩🇪🙃🙃🙃
In Nurnberg we also have a little part of Russia in Langwasser where are most of the Russian live including my famiy
i know Baden-Baden only from Heidi
Wasn't that actually Frankfurt?
@@DWTravel i remember this town was mentioned a lot in that cartoon. as far as I remember heidi was visiting Clara in Frankfurt but talking about missing Baden or Baden-Baden where she came from. I was a kid when I watched it therefore I am not 100% sure :) maybe you can recap places where Heidi taken place someday for us dear DW. It would be nice.
I thought Kaliningrad is Germany's most Russian city.
Kaliningrad is in Russia, Russia's most german city
@@magusl9628 In 2022 yes.
This is so funny! If you want to see the most Russian city in Germany you have to got to Rastatt! That is the place those Russians go that can't afford to live in Baden Baden!
Lmao I thought Caleb Maupin was presenting when I saw Lukas
Hope to visit this place, fore healtcare the spawaters some day. No, not cambling..fore sure.!
Beautiful city. It's nice to see if there are places that can stay apolitical and have both Ukrainians and Russians.
As a Belorussian American, I can tell that this conflict can be very explosive, even within the same families. But it looks like in the Russian community it became a general convention just not to speak about it, because you know it may explode if there are opposite views.
Baden-Baden literally means Bath-Barh
It means Bath in the (former) state of Baden. Just like there is a city called Bath in England.
Slava Ukraini 💪🏼💛💙🇺🇦
Und was hat sich geändert in New York?
Dort gibt es auch ganze Straßenzüge, wo nur Russen/Russischsprechende leben…
Streets, not cities. That's the point.
Whenever I see Russian statue or something like that, I make sure to damage it in some way
Berlin has a very large Russian presence, an historic cultural center enriched by 300000 Russisns in the 1920"s
@John Philip Yes, enrichment, in the 1920s Berlin was practically flooded by Russian emigrants who fled from the Bolcheviks. Mainly nobles, artists, entrepreneurs.
@John Philip As history proved being the most cultured and intelligent people in Europe didn't preserve the Germans from being fooled by a postcard painter and his equally qualified gang a few years later.
@John Philip smart, intelligent Germans walked into a war in which 8 million of their people perished and all ethnic German minorities in central and eastern Europe were destroyed. Very smart my friend.
Wait,do You Say russian emigrate to europe like third world people? I was thinking russian with his Giant country emigrate to Siberia instead of a old enemy like Germany.
lukas, with this outfit you dont come into casino normaly ;-) greetings from b-b

The problem in Ukraine is very simple. We have to change the leaders… everyone(most part of them) 👍
I hope you mean the Russian leaders, they have exposed Russia to have a genocidal fascist regime.
Their aggression started more than a decade ago, while their state TV is used to indoctrinate people with poisonous lies.
