Isn't most of the planet covered in the Maverick Virus? I think there's a few more than 8 Mavericks here, and the reploids the hunters were going after weren't specifically labeled Maverick yet but had parts for the Enigma and Shuttle.

X5's presentation was rather lacking, especially when compared to X4 and its anime cutscenes and in-game voiced lines. Surely Zero's original last hurrah (before Capcom decided they wanted an X6 after all) deserved better.

They simply couldn’t fund new anime cutscenes for X5 and X6, resulting in both games having those Visual Novel esque cutscenes. X6 at least brought back voice acting in cutscenes to the games.
when you start the game the rng seed for the enigma change during gameplay so the chance not be always 100% but if you reset the game and see the intro demo doing some trick you can always get 100% chance to destroy the colony i guess in this tas he manipulate that seed in some form

Yeah the first 4 X games are great, but then the quality starts to dip around X5. X5 is at least decent and X8 is good, but X6 was bad and X7 was just awful.
@@marcusmayo I’ll admit it’s not all bad, I feel like if X6 wasn’t rushed out and they took their time with it, it would’ve probably been a decent game. There are some things I genuinely like about X6 and the music is some of the best in the series, but the bad level design and the nightmare effects really sour my opinion of it.

If this is how you say "re-updowning" then why is the encoder "EZGames69" and not "OmnipotentEntity"? If this really was a download and reupload, the quality should also be at 240p. Unfortunately, your claim falls flat when you also consider that this is also a PCSX-RR TAS meaning that these specific TASes are being redone to get proper audio in place rather than the broken samples that the TASspu plugin provides. You can't claim "well the 240p feed is just upscaled" either, cause where would the obvious artifacts be? We're sorry that you don't care about the preservation of older TASes to be modernized to a newer audience, actually no we don't, we've been reencoding older TASes for almost 6 years now, drip feeding it. So your complaint can go out the door. Edit: Also I actually forgot the more important thing. Noxxa used to not go by Noxxa back in 2011. They had a completely different alias.

Love the speedrun, but man I forgot how annoying all the dialogue and the breaks in the action were on this game.
If you want to revisit the game, there's an improvement patch that lets you remove the dialogue mid-stage
