I enjoy Letterman's later stuff. Idk if it's because he's newer to it here or what it is. He's really got nothing on Johnny Carson Makes it even more obvious when you put him beside a comedy legend like Buddy.
Nothing at _all_ on Carson. I gave up on Letterman by '95. The goofball schtick and buffoonery seen at the top of this clip got real, _real_ old quick.
Buddy was always one of the greatest comedic guests EVER. He was pure genius at telling the funny nutty story. Missed.
