The sad thing is that Lovebites only has 39,000 subscribers. How can that be? One of the best speed metal bands.

@@Medley3000 That is definitely NOT a number doing justice to them. But I think they don't have much videos on the official channel, maybe that is one of the reason?
Nevertheless, I hope I can contribute a little at least to the band exposure !
@@Medley3000 the Japanese labels are partly at fault. Even though Lovebites deliberately chose to record all their songs in English, their label, like most Japanese labels, are doing nothing to make it easier for Western audiences to get to know them. It's really sad.

A consistent theme in Asami's lyrics, which is most of LOVEBITES songs. It is 'working' for me. My quality-of-life is improved since becoming aware of and listening to this band daily.

Best thing is a fact that this is just a warmup for the new album. Imagine how that will look like. These girls are pure gold. Love them so much
The biggest difference what comes to Asami, is that now Asami finally uses layering techniques. Layering that almost every other metal band uses, like Unleash the archers etc. People have criticized her sound, but it has been nonlayered in the past. Now that she is in the "same technical level" with other bands, all of a sudden people are surprised how good she sounds... Lovebites is still a new band and they are just figuring these things out. It's just funny how people are so used to layering and other stuff.... things you can do LIVE nowadays... that it has become normal, and standard... and some still think there is a thing called "natural" sound. There is no natural sound. There is just sound. You make it sound as good as you can. You use all the technique available, to do it. Lovebites now have tools and experience to be in that level. This is not a new thing... it was already back when Metallica had the best studios available. Their quality of sound was way way way ahead and better than for example Judas Priest studio production. That is ONE of the major reasons why Metallica had the edge, over everyone, at the time. They had that special sound. Metallica sound way worse live back then... but now in modern days.... all that stuff can be done LIVE realtime... it's the development of music. Everyone and their mother has background track running (usually controlled by drummer) and all the layering is automatic. and it is GOOD, because it just makes music BETTER. If you don't believe me, check When Destinies align LIVE, and tell me who is playing that rhythm guitar, while Midori and Miyako are doing dual soloes? Who is playing piano in Swan Song in the middle of the song? It's all background tracks, that they prerecorded. The music is still composed by THEM and they deserve full credit, even if there's a background track. It's just how music is done today. I am glad music is still evolving and quality gets better.

This clip was shoot at wedding venue in Aoyama Tokyo. The main massage if about lyrics is redemption of the world in this difficult time. Asami said about it in her short review. Obviously all is beautiful in this masterpiece. Great.
For all those who haven't found out how to have a better and happier life. It's this: Listen to Lovebites at least once a day and you will feel on top of the world. These ladies are the best that has happend to music for a very long time. And they are getting better and better. We are so blessed. Ladies, you rule!
They do lift your spirits. Uplifting lyrics and epic music. The best thing to happen musically to those of us who “get” exactly what they are doing.

@@JFrancoDrums Yeah That is the curse of lot of bass player in rock/metal.
Also on tracks that I listened to, Miho bass tone is perfect to support the song but not unique enough to get notice that much I believe.
Does Miho do any solo?

Hey Melo! This song is written by Midori she wrote it because she was inspired after visiting some churches in the US. She said she always liked gospel music, so this was a perfect time to make it.
Asami is getting better and better all the time, and she is more Metal than ever.
I think its fine to talk about how they look, they look hot and gorgeous, Midori looks like an Egypt Queen!
I want to suggest 2 songs "Break the Wall" Live 2020 (thrash metal) and "Edge of the World" Live 2020 (amazing composition).
Also you should react to the new songs in the EP, they are all fantastic!

Honestly, for Lovebitten wolf pack gang ( fans of Lovebites ) this new song is not too surprising. Because they really really insane.
Asami voice? Are she's can singing with high note and clean voice? Yes, she's can. Even in live concert or live performance. Check out they song "Edge of the world"
Harmonizing guitar midori and miyako? They can play long harmonizing guitar. Check out they song "We the United"
Once again you have great analysis. Midori and miyako have different style. Midori more speed. Miyako more melodic.

Love these ladies!! Awesome song! They just getting better and better. A band to check out in this Japanese rabbit hole is Nemophila!! Original songs to start with is Raitei, Oiran, Sorai and their newest Dissension! Also Monster and their ballad Life! Thank you for reacting to this song.
A great young teen band you have to listen to is Asterism and Dawn LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/buQPvINJcA0/v-deo.html) shot in the front row in a small venue as they were restricted at the time due to their ages. Hal-Ca is 16 here (playing guitar since see was 10), Miyu is 17 and his skills on the 7 string bass are amazing while his brother Mio is equally awesome on drums. They blend Metal/Rock/Jazz into epic fusion instrumentals (no vocals) that are wicked good. These kids are so far ahead of other twice or three times their age it is amazing. Hal-Ca is a force of nature with that Hendrix vibe in her playing. If you love Lovebites then this band will fit right into that love space.
Here this was Asami's song to shine although her vocals could of been a little higher (IMHO), nonetheless the backbone of Miho/bass and Haruna/drums drives the song while the M & M show dominate as usual with their stunning playing. Honestly, if there was a guitar Rescue Society they would have them on wanted posters for abusing, over working and making their guitars weep, wail and smoke after these performances.Also the male band like Lovebites Galneryus doing Angel of Salvation (ua-cam.com/video/nsi9HEmZl9Y/v-deo.html) also done in a church with a great intro and Syu is a wicked guitar player who often plays the masters on his ax!!!

these 5 ladies (Lovebites) and the 5 ladies of (Band Maid) are the best of Metal and Hard Rock around right now

These heroes are disguised as beautiful young women dressed in white, and instead of using violence or force, they use music to battle the darkness. That is this band, and no description you’ve ever heard could prepare you for the real thing.
This song probably captures that feeling better than anything they've done so far.
