Nice to own your own bagger - you can work at your own pace now and not worry about holding up the owner. I enjoy all your videos - especially like seeing the kids and the old red tractors still earning their keep. Keep up the good work!
great footage of the copper working and your wife is already wearing a stocking hat and the kids wearing jackets must be time to start putting the beard back on winters coming great video thank you God bless
We finished watching all of your downloads, yes we have seen them all. My wife says she looks at cows in totally different way now. Have enjoyed every one.
Before my uncle sold the cows in the early 2000’s we chopped all of our corn with a Massey 285 and a new Holland 717super 1 row corn head and put it in bags with the AgBagger. Took a long time to chop corn. Thanks for the video 👍
Watching your chopping videos, makes me wish we were still chopping corn for silage. Still have the equipment in the shed, and much the same stuff too.
I just love your videos, and all the equipment! I thought as I watched I wish people and UA-cam realized something. Our farm kids are safer on our tractors than city kids are walking down a sidewalk. This world has got so mean. Keep these great videos coming. We are trying to here as well. We appreciate y’all
Very, very nice variety of action shots showing so many aspects of the harvest. Many of these views we don't get to see, even as farmers operating the equipment. Nick, North West Farmer (Oregon)
When putting your bag on put a big piece of cardboard from your bag box under the bag pan and the bag will slide right up under there so you don't have to roll around on the ground.
I mentioned this last year about chopping so dry 40 years ago we ran virtually the same equipment,,,,except Green,, and we always chopped green corn. Great Videos,,love this channel
come on Mom... your asking a kid? now what are you going to do with a leaf pile?? lol... im older but would have did the same thing... JUMP... You had me worried there with Alan up in the silo.. until you said the blower running.. thank you. a Amish farmer in PA and his two sons just lost there life's with silo gas.. Paul makes your days look warm.. no coat or hat.. and with him on that tractor it looks small. lol don't tell him I said that... lmao.. tks for sharing...
Yes we'd heard about that. We always have the blower going and have someone on the ground waiting for them. Paul makes everything look small. Yeah, not sure if he's that warm or just too stubborn to admit it's getting cold out
@@trinitydairy Here I thought he was waiting for the limited edition Trinity Dairy Hat and Coat..............One side printed has "Trinity Dairy", other side has printed "Paul"........Back has printed in big letters at the shoulders, "Field Muscle"
I'm not sure what brands they are, the one in the pasture was built in the 50s I think, the foundation of the one by the barn, was built in the late 30s but my grandpa had a new silo built on it in the early 90s.
@@trinitydairy I thought it looked familiar and wonder if it is a Rochester silo. I live by Faribault and lived by Ellendale and saw many rib Rochester silos here.
looks like your having a good harvest season Alan , corn don't look too bad, did you have a lot of deer and bear damage this year ? HELLO from upstate NY Adirondacks
Was just wondering Alan, if you had any bear damage this year in the corn fields? Some years we would have quite a little and then there wouldn't be any other years. Looks like you made a good investment in finding a decent bagger. Cheaper than a new one for sure.
Great videos! How much tonnage are you averaging per acre? We've had a dry summer here in northern lower Michigan. Always like hearing the chopper humming this time of year! God bless you all!
I was just wondering if you kept it all for silage or if you sold some of it. I sure do enjoy these harvest videos so neat keep up the good work you guys.
I couldn't help but say, "Baggers can't be choosers". 😂 The bagger looks to be doing the job well?? I never used a bagger, can you unload faster using a bagger rather than a blower?
Nice to own your own bagger - you can work at your own pace now and not worry about holding up the owner. I enjoy all your videos - especially like seeing the kids and the old red tractors still earning their keep. Keep up the good work!
Glad to see you get that 2 bag full. Can wait to see some picking
Lot's of daring shots with the camera. Great video!
Yeah we were definitely gambling on whether it'd get sucked in or not.
great footage of the copper working and your wife is already wearing a stocking hat and the kids wearing jackets must be time to start putting the beard back on winters coming great video thank you God bless
We were just talking about when I should start letting it grow again.
We finished watching all of your downloads, yes we have seen them all. My wife says she looks at cows in totally different way now. Have enjoyed every one.
Thanks for watching!

We chopped for a lot of years with a 717 super. Nothing sounds as good as a new holland chopper.
Still Love it! Lights go off. Tractor shuts down. End of a good day and good vid.
Watching your chopping videos, makes me wish we were still chopping corn for silage. Still have the equipment in the shed, and much the same stuff too.

Yes it's unfortunate that farmers can't show themselves teaching the next generation how to operate equipment safely.
Aggravates me to no end. It’s ridiculous
I’d trust our farm kids way more than the idiots on the highway
That bagger setup was pretty cool, I think it was a good addition to have on your farm ,

Great to see your own bagger in action
Congrats to the guy who invented the bagging machine.
I'll bet when he first told someone what he was thinking of designing he got laughed at.
I'd agree with that statement. I definately liked bags, thought a pile was a waste and uprights aren't terrible if you are not scared of heights.
Your corn chopping videos have been excellent.
Looks like the bigger is doing a good job for you.
Great video thanks for showing us your hard work. The fall is a great time of the year but then the darn cold and snow is coming burrrrr.
Very good job and God bless yall
When putting your bag on put a big piece of cardboard from your bag box under the bag pan and the bag will slide right up under there so you don't have to roll around on the ground.
Good video and your son jumping in the leaves and the different shots with the camera was cool too
Lots hard work. Cows will appreciate that this winter.
Great video, enjoyed visiting with you guys, have a good day…..

It was green but it froze. Had it not frozen, I'd probably just be starting to chop now.
Great video as always, makes me remember the good ole days.
Working the tractor looks pretty good corn
Excellent video, thank you for sharing.
the 06 sounds pretty good love those old tractors
awesome fully mature whole corn plant chopping & silage #❤️❤️👍
Its mayby not that expensive that ag bagger i have no idea, we have all concrete bunks for silage, thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Got my silo full just finished picking corn and fixing put in winter wheat
Awesome!
@@trinitydairy its been a busy time here

it should be good cow chow
Glad to see everything goin good. You're puttin up some good feed. Stay safe.
Nice to see the new camera position's good job 👍
Great video, I enjoyed the way you ended it!

👍👍🐄🐄 shine on harvest moon
When we filled our bags we would tie the tail up to the top of the backstop
thank you
Videographer had great shots. I think I may have seen Rapunzel at top of silo! 🤣😂
NICE VIDEO AL!
Regarding tying off the bag, my Grandfather used to say two half hitches would hold a horse, three would hold the devil.
Hey Paul lost his jacket again haha, good ole boy right there
Haha we should have a contest to see when he'll finally put a jacket on.

Hey Alan. So do you store silage in both bags and silo? Thanks for the cool views.
Yes, both bags and silos .
That 790 likes to eat.
Yeah, I really like that machine!
What brands are your stave silos and about how old are they? I like the staves on the one by the barn. Looks sturdy.
I'm not sure what brands they are, the one in the pasture was built in the 50s I think, the foundation of the one by the barn, was built in the late 30s but my grandpa had a new silo built on it in the early 90s.

Not much at all
looks like the 820 got some new rear tires I assume they are fluid filled also
Yeah, brand new. Yeah they are fluid filled.
How many acres of corn did you plant this year? Really enjoy the video's and they way your family work together. Keep them coming.
About 40 acres
Was just wondering Alan, if you had any bear damage this year in the corn fields? Some years we would have quite a little and then there wouldn't be any other years. Looks like you made a good investment in finding a decent bagger. Cheaper than a new one for sure.
I didn't see any bear damage this year, but there was a lot more to eat in the woods this year.
Super cool shot when you must have stuck the camera on the corn head! Can you estimate the bear and deer loss you encounter?
I haven't seen any bear damage. It's harder to tell with the deer, they like to pick off the outer rows.
Do you plow the fields up after the growing season? We did and we spread manure on the fields all winter long. Great videos. Tim😃
No. It's a yearly lease on the land.
Always enjoy your videos brings back memories from being on the farm
👍
Great videos! How much tonnage are you averaging per acre? We've had a dry summer here in northern lower Michigan. Always like hearing the chopper humming this time of year! God bless you all!
I have no idea, it varies so much.
8 ft bag or 9ft
8ft
You guys should have a farm day sometime, I'm betting it be a good turnout
We've talked about doing a breakfast on the farm sometime. A lot more clean up needs to be done though.
Rolin Coal
Great video A&J Jennifer is very proficient with the camera is it a gopro that your using? Try something different this winter designer stubble
Yes a gropro 9
I thought corn silage was cut green ?
This would be green, but it froze.
Be great if you got 12 days of chopping.
Then i can sing about it to the tune of "12 days of Christmas"
It looked like you had bear damage again.
No bear damage, I think those spots are from sandhill cranes.
@@trinitydairy oh I see
Is all the corn you grow for silage?
Yes typically.
I was just wondering if you kept it all for silage or if you sold some of it. I sure do enjoy these harvest videos so neat keep up the good work you guys.
Is that 8or 9ft bag Alan ?
8 foot
I couldn't help but say, "Baggers can't be choosers". 😂 The bagger looks to be doing the job well?? I never used a bagger, can you unload faster using a bagger rather than a blower?
I think it's about the same.
