I think the judges paid a price for choosing Matt over Ludo last time. It would have been a much more interesting competition with Ludo on board. Many thanks for posting every day. It's so compelling when there are no gaps in the series.
Ludovic should have been in the semifinal in the place of matt and Ludo definitely deserves the third final spot, cos he's much more better than marianne🙄🙄
Have been rooting for her throughout, but she got VERY lucky in this one that the other chefs also didn't bring their A game other than Steve. Her presentation for that first dish was shocking
Uh...yes they did! They clearly said they enjoyed her flavors. It was her presentation that was lacking. In the end flavor is what carried her through.
This is so wonderful. How I wish my mother was alive to see it. She was such a wonderful person in the kitchen. The best I ever knew. She would have so enjoyed this.
Matt deserved the boot. I was always told that if a dish doesn't have a starch on the plate, it's not a main course, then he went way over time and his ice cream didn't freeze enough. It's totally unfair to the other chefs when someone gets extra time to finish. All I can say is, that ice cream machine sucks big time.
My mother taught me that if it grows under the ground you should be able to mash it and if it grows above the ground, it should have some crunch. Apart from roots you can eat raw, it's not a bad place to start
😅I can't make anything about Mariana plate of food. I felt that her sauce on the plate looked very watery. The presentation of her food was not that competitive as Steve and Daniel. The third finalist should have been Ludovic. But even Matt cooking was better than Mariana. I think Michael Roux wanted a lady with the two other male finalist to show the balance.
Nope, that's not how this show works. I have watched many seasons, and when you're done, you're done. It doesn't matter what color or sex you are. If your food isn't up to par, you go home. Plus, considering you didn't even taste it, how would you know anyway? Smfh
What has a daft football game involving penalties got to do with fine dining. What a ridiculous comparison. Football is not important in any way shape or form. But cooking at this level is.
That's funny, some people would disagree. The comparison might not be accurate, but you can't say football isn't important just because it's not important to you. Many more people would argue that fine dining isn't important because generally only the wealthy can eat at Michelin star restaurants. At least football is accessible to all. Check your privilege.
They should all be wearing hats like chefs used to. Would you like one of their hairs as an accompaniment in your dish? No thanks, standards are in free fall everywhere...
@@deltadom33 I actually didn't even know that dude. I am still in the process of watching it, as im sure a lot of people are who are reading this thread. So now you have spoiled it for them as well. And even though Steve is more advanced than the rest, anything can happen, so maybe don't do that next time. Smh
Where did you come up with this? They are obviously knowledgeable. Besides disagreeing about the first fish course, their comments were basically the exact same as Michele's.
Actually, the public view is primary. They're the ones who pay for the food. If people don't like the food, they won't pay for it and the restaurant goes bust
This is season 2 from 2009. There are on seasons 16 now. Also, the judging has changed. Monica is now a judge, and Marcus Wareing replaced Michele. Unfortunately Jeff is still there though. Too bad.
This series is so much better than the American and Canadian counterparts
Of course. The (lack of) quality of MC shows around the world says everything we need to know about countries' stages of evolution.
@@MetteC5yes even kitchen nightmares particularly is terrible compared to the UK version.

That's because this is about cooking and the competition itself, not about drama.

Nothing beats Gregg’s face lovingly staring at a dessert

I just love Masterchef UK...
Better than all the rest!
Ludovic should have been in the semifinal
in the place of matt and Ludo definitely deserves the third final spot, cos he's much more better than marianne🙄🙄
That may be the case but Ludo wasn't the best on the day
Marianne's main looked like a Sunday roast 😂
Have been rooting for her throughout, but she got VERY lucky in this one that the other chefs also didn't bring their A game other than Steve. Her presentation for that first dish was shocking
I agree. I can’t believe she went through.
At best..
Yes, luck was on her side considering how ‘home cooked’ her veg looked. Her plate could have been better finished. … but it was enough.
Her food tasted better. She knows how to make delicious food, she just needs more refinement and practice with her presentation.
The ice cream never sets.
I don’t think Marianne should have gone through. The judges did not like her food.
I can't stand her smug smirk. And she always runs out of time and serves raw meat.
Uh...yes they did! They clearly said they enjoyed her flavors. It was her presentation that was lacking. In the end flavor is what carried her through.
Personally, I wouldn't choose to serve melted ice cream.
I watched this series many years ago. Don't remember it so it has been refreshing to watch now. I don't remember who won, but I'd put money on Steve.
very nice final team, and well deserved :) excited to see who wins
This is so wonderful. How I wish my mother was alive to see it. She was such a wonderful person in the kitchen. The best I ever knew. She would have so enjoyed this.
Daniel had improved the most with his presentation. Steve, just a star! Marianne can pull a shocker with her presentation, who knows.

When did they say he got extra time to finish? Did I miss something?
When they say he's 10 minutes late.@@dragonsky799
I don't understand why they always present undercooked veg when they have more than an hour cooking time.
Specially potatoes!

Steve this is cooking to another level indeed. Great improvement. 👍 👏 . Cooking to a higher level wow
The "Chef" leaving us today is Wallace, thank goodnes!!!!
old man with glasses is a bit to pompous . Very pompous industry. Not for everyone. It's worse than the music industry
Anyone know what Ryan's up to since this aired?
Mary Annes hair worries me that there will be a hair in the food.
And her sweat droplets
😅😅😅 thought the same indeed
A runny egg with toast lol

I doubt it and that wouldn't explain her later success

I think that Steve is going home with egg and toast
The judges all seemed to enjoy the novelty of it. Not sure who I think will be leaving.
You're clueless. Steve is the best chef out of them all.

Absolutely not, he took everything everyone loves about egg and soldiers and made it amazing
Marrian is not better than ludavach indeed.
I can't stand Marianne.
Restauranteurs know nothing about food other than eating it. Chef opinion counts for far more.
