Growing up when I was on my original account (I was probably like 9-10) I didn’t exactly grasp the point of the game and tended to just run around and waste time. One of my favorite worlds was Wysteria. I loved the charm the world had. I think that’s actually why I didn’t get to Marleybone is because I was too busy wasting time in Wysteria tbh. 😂
Yeah I always thought it was weird Wysteria wasn't like the other side worlds (grizzleheim and aquila) and call you back at different levels. You just kind of experience the world once and there's never any reason to go back.
Man i LOVED wysteria. It is easily my favourite world of arc1, the story is reminiscent of harry potter 4, and i love harry potter, the world itself looks gorgeous compared to many of the other arc1 worlds. There is just such a charm about this world and the only thing i wish is that it was a bit longer. It's the only world of arc1 where i do all of the sidequests, just because the world is fun.
i always thought it would be cool if they made the Wysteria tournament an ongoing event. it’d be just like going through the tournament quests but making it a week-long event every week, every month or maybe even annually. it’d only be up against NPCs and you’d get unique prizes, you could farm it, etc.
Love the idea of different sub-schools of magic, and I can accept why Wysteria was such a short world. I only wish they added maybe a few spells from those schools that we would see during the tournament, or maybe one we would unlock once reaching Wysteria.
I think they should expand on Wysteria like they did with Wintertusk/Grizz, and maybe implement those spell ideas you brought up. But like you said before I dont think side worlds are a priority rn sadly
I still to this day wonder why the spiral cup gauntlet’s storyline wasn’t just used for a wysteria expansion. Or have it’a own where, yea, like zeus you come back every so often. Maybe not as full tournament “from the bottom underdog” but instead as the defending champion.
I think Wysteria should have had very certain spells that are already available to us via tc but don't have actual spell versions we can get. For instance, things like the rain beetle, death scarab, flame serpent, death minotaur, icebird, frozen bats, flame bats, and all those other spells I know there's a bunch of them. But you get the idea, right? Give us the different variants of spells that already exist. I'm pretty sure there's even things like a life efreet and you also have myth banshee. All those spells could have had a home here in this world. Even if they cost training points to learn them, it gives you options on what to get. I have high level wizards with points unspent because other schools don't appeal to me. How about make new spells that we need? How about add things like a balance prism before the amulet at level 130 or something like that. Why not make a new prism that converts to the new weaknesses mobs get later? Like how fire is weak to storm or how ice resists death? It gives new options and makes you think about other traps if you use traps or shields enemies have. How often do life enemies use death shield so you can't just prism? If they had a death prism that converts to fire also, wouldn't that be cool? Idk something to think about.
Sadly the real reason why we don't learn anything from Pigswick Academy is that the school is a phony compared to Ravenwood. And the reason why they've won all these years is because they cheated, as demonstrated in the finals when you face Randolf Spellshine. And in the Five Boxes event, if you did the Mooshu Quest with Dworgyn, one of the applicant to replace Malistaire there has been proven that Pigswick Academy isn't as great as they claim themselves to be. I personally wish KingsIsle actually expanded on this theme Pigswick had going for them, as it was too short.
The one thing ill never forget from Wysteria was Tower of the elephant lol Back in old wiz when dungeons took a real long time the real struggle. You were a kid so being efficient didnt connect in your head, and fights took way longer (It was just 10x fun back then
we should have wysteria part 2, where we are re-invited to wysteria to fight them at lvl 150. And randolf is back with his friends, and this time, he kicks our ass, and we are forced to return at level 240 to finish him lmao
If you read the history of pigswick academy books, there is talk of the school being almost completely fraudulent - they don't teach real magic like Ravenwood does. When I went through wysteria I was very disappointed that the plot didn't somehow revolve around exposing them for being fake, because they're our rival school. I think the story should've gone: you go there under the guise of a competitor or even new student, to investigate what they're doing that's so much better than Ravenwood, you fight in the matches and you easily win against the pigswick contestants. You find some evidence that the schools magic comes from a source deep in the ground that has recently broken free, causing all the vines and stuff to appear. Then you basically solve the stuff with the vines and out the school as fraudulent, and increasing the reputation of Ravenwood. The story felt so unimportant, but if it had more of those aspects it would be so much more interesting.
My views on Wysteria is in the middle. I do think it would have been more awesome with more different areas and intense storyline. The world had potential that could have been unlocked during its creation.
I agree. After you finish wysteria you have no reason to go back there at all. At least with grizzle u go to wintertusk. I kinda forgot about the world honestly. What I liked about the third arc and 4th arc is you went back to the old worlds. You don’t have a reason to go back at all
pin this comment since it’s my birthday :) ( don’t do it if u don’t want to but i’d appreciate it )
happy birthday :)
@@KaiserNoah thank you
Happy birthday. Have fun stay safe
happy belated birthday, but its been almost a year so that means its coming around again
@@mrpiggles2640 yep this week actually
Agreed, Wysteria had so much potential. Maybe even add a pvp arena inside Wysteria itself.

We were blessed with Celestia -> Wintertusk -> Wysteria all in less than 12 months and that's crazy to me.
Yeah I always thought it was weird Wysteria wasn't like the other side worlds (grizzleheim and aquila) and call you back at different levels. You just kind of experience the world once and there's never any reason to go back.
Not even tower of the helephant is worth it which is the closest thing to a callback to the world.

We already have wysteria spells like pigsie and ninja piglets etc but I get what you mean

agreed -- a big letdown was not learning a pigswick special spell -- there is a LOT of potential that could be done to add to the world ..

Based.
Or, like monstrology, they could add a new tab for like "spiral extended magic" like wysteria

Most of my purchases from KI involve furniture packs because I love this worlds aesthetic ^_^

Let be real the only reason everyone did wysteria because of tower of the Helephant
sprite-death-Ectosplat
Earth-life-Mudslide
Tempest-storm-Tornado
Kaos-myth-Rain of Frogs
Ember-fire-Warmembrace
Frost-ice-frostyMask
Equilibrium-balance-Scale
There’s a lvl 60 quest helaphat tower I think it’s called that but I never do it because it gives nothing for the difficulty

Just hit the most devious lick 😈 stole the mf spiral cup 🥶
Equilibrium
i totally agree with you on this i feel that they could have embished on the story line and made a lot more quests
Boosting the algorithm LESSS GOOO
Earth magic
Wysteria is literally just xp fodder. There could be so much but they just shilled out a half finished world to give you like 5 levels before mooshu
What about something like wintertusk but for this world?
I love Wysteria
hoping for wysteria part 2
God bless your heart.
If Pirate101 came back with the next world update, are you thinking about making any content on it?
Totally, yah.
0 xp, lame story end of discussion. My question is, did no one catch the unbeatable pig cheat. What's the point of them having a referee?
Ayy
